I am planning on doing two contests this summer. Both have a unique way of deciding the winner and I am deciding if I should post what I am planning... What do ya think?

Happy birthday dude! What did you get? Did your parents get you TWO iPhones? LoL

Another month has passed and that means it’s time to giveaway more cool stuff here at Gamercide! During my perusing of the internets, I occasionally stumble across something so awesome that it begs to be given as a prize. This month’s contest is quite possibly the cleanest contest that I’ve ever sponsored, and the prizes this month are guaranteed to keep you fresh! Behold! A handmade creation that inspires awe in the hearts of Star Wars fanboys everywhere! Guaranteed to help you NOT be a scruffy looking nerfherder! I know, I know. I’m speechless too! What is cooler than a bar of soap that looks like Han Solo encased in carbonite? That’s right! NOTHING! TWO l…

I recently got a new dog with some of my birthday money. I named her Molly and she's a beagle terrier mix. Some people were asking to see some pictures of her, so I thought I'd post them here.

Activision is donating $1 for each click to our US veterans. Toss aside the hate you may have for Activision or Facebook, and help raise some money. Activision, as you may or may not know, has created the Call of Duty Endowment, which helps give vets 21st-century job training and career placement. C.O.D.E. works with several different charity organizations in an attempt to help on as many fronts as possible. For every Facebook user who clicks the “Like” icon on the Call of Duty Endowment Facebook page between right now and Monday, May 31st, C.O.D.E. will increase their donation to Hire Heroes USA by $1, up to $50,000. That’s literally all you have to do — just click the L…

As I'm sure everyone has seen, the father of the Xbox and Zune, J Allard is leaving Microsoft. He will remain in and advisory role directly to Steve Ballmer. I didn't report on this on the main page, mainly because so many sources are doing it, I figured why bother. I do however doubt that many sources will report on the email from Allard that Major Nelson linked to earlier today on Twitter. I encourage everyone to read it and think about your job or hell, even your life in general. If you can't think some of these same things about what you do or aspire to do on a day to day basis, then maybe it's time for a change. http://blogs.technet.com/b/microsoft_blog/archive/…

I just had to ask this question because I was playing the Halo REACH beta, and this guy was going insane over this killstreak I got off of him... and his team... if i can, ill record it and post it later. Do you have a story of someone rage quiting?

All pitched in and bought me a 360! I had to use gift cards and all but the purchase went smoothly enough. So I am now back online! Consider this your advance warning! lol

Earth as seen from Voyager 1 while on the edge of our solar system (approximately 3,762,136,324 miles from home). In the words of Carl Sagan (god rest his soul!): Look again at that dot. That’s here. That’s home. That’s us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every …

HAVE A GOOD ONE, BRO!

Topic title says it all. Have a great birthday bro.

So with the COMPLETE FAIL (read: Son, I am disappoint!) of the PSPGo, Sony is in desperate need of a new handheld to compete with Nintendo's announced/unannounced Nintendo 3DS. Publishers are reporting that Sony is going to possibly reveal their new handheld at this year's E3. Is it finally time to see something as awesome as this? I would totally spend like $250 for one of these.

(when asked how she was doing and if our care package to her and Logan arrived) Hey PK! Yes it did and thank you so much and please pass the word around Gamercide that I said thank you as well. That bear is so adorable and what you had on the little note part made me tear up a bit. It was really sweet and we all loved it! Everyone is doing fine too. Logan is healthy and I'm doing good. It was an uncomplicated labor and delivery in fact it went quite fast. It's awesome to see his brother stepping into his big brother role too. He adores Logan so much! I'll be posting pictures soon for Gamercide to see their newest member. I have about 500 to go through on my camera, lol. I…

Privates is a twin-stick shooter/platformer that -- and we're quoting here -- follows "a teeny-tiny gang of condom-hatted marines as they delve into peoples' vaginas and bottoms and blast away at all manner of oozy, shouty monsters." Wha!? Really? LoL http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/11/zombie-cow-studios-new-game-privates-is-already-inside-you/

From Joystiq: EA just announced the next step of its "Project Ten Dollar" initiative, one that's likely to affect a lot of people much more deeply than the allure of some extra DLC. Starting with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, out June 8, EA Sports games for PS3 and Xbox 360 will include a title-specific "Online Pass" that enables access to "online services, features, and bonus content." If the code has already been redeemed (i.e. if you bought the game used) additional Online Passes will be available for (you guessed it!) ten dollars. Each game will include a seven-day free trial. The online services under the Online Pass vary by game, but an EA rep told us they can include ba…
