  2. These days it seems like companies will do anything to squeeze a buck out of gamer’s already tight pockets. With limited edition console themed versions of video games releasing to answer every fanboys undying pleasure, it appears that video game themed consoles bundles are beginning to take the place of limited and special edition versions of video games. Are these overpriced bundled consoles swaying the gamer’s opinions to buy not only the game, but the console or more importantly are gamers even taking notice? “i stray away from them. after the novelty wore off, you’d be wanting for a classic look.” -MajorWhiteBoy Microsoft is one of those companies that tend to put…

    BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- A trove of old glass negatives bought at a garage sale for $45 have been authenticated as the lost work of famed nature photographer Ansel Adams and are worth at least $200 million, an attorney for the owner said Tuesday. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2010/07/27/garage-sale-buyer-gets-million-ansel-adams-photos/?test=latestnews

    So I'm back from San Diego. I think I tweeted the hell out of it so it should come has no surprise that I spent a vast majority of my time in the Xbox Lounge (free drinks!). Playing Kinect was fun but guess what? I got bored pretty fast. You know what didn't bore me? Hydro Thunder Hurricane. I played the living **** out of this XBLA game (which comes out this Wednesday btw) and ******** it's fun as hell. They had a 12 console Live party going for prizes and I would CONSTANTLY get second place, third place, never quite winning a copy of Alan Wake and Crackdown 2 I wanted so dearly. I wanted to bring all my friends in and stack the consoles so at least one of us would win, …

    Hey all With the announcement of the Halo Reach console bundle, I decided to work on an article about whether or not video game themed console bundles sway your mind in either buying the game or upgrading your system or both. Please be opinionated as possible and feel free to make comparisons with the different video game themed consoles that have come out. Remember your opinions/gamertag will be included in the article like when I did the RE series article. Spanks!

    So I was going through some gaming forums and found numerous threads pointing out that they found the game offensive. The main complaint was the death sequences of the main character, which appears to be a small boy. There are also images of what appear to be other children hung by their necks. Now, I don't agree that the game is offensive, per se, but I could see where some could be offended by the imagery. I want to get your thoughts. What do you think, offensive or no? {This should go without saying, but don't start any arguments or I'll kill the thread. Be nice!!}

    Fans of motion capture sensors and cute little fuzzy animals that obey your every command can now rejoice. Major Nelson has confirmed the price and bundle for the upcoming Wii-box. Whoops I mean Kinect. On November 4th 2010, Xbox 360 users can get their hands on the Kinect for the price of $149.99. Included with the purchase of Kinect is Kinect Adventures. If that was not enough to blow everyone’s minds, there will also be a Kinect Holiday Bundle coming out for the holiday season. This bundle includes the Kinect, Kinect Sensor, Kinect Adventures, and the super matte and incredibly sexy Xbox 360 with built in Wi-Fi and a 4 GB internal flash memory. That’s right, a whoppi…

    Friend did it today, what a way to end it. I've been with this kid almost day in and day out for two years, until the pass few months. Sadly, the most recent time I saw him was a gamestop and all we did was glare at each other, no words spoken. The last thing I said to him was "Are you still interested in buying my Nintendo Wii?" I got a response later on saying "I can't afford it thanks for the offer though." He jumped 48feet from a 4 or 5 story parking garage at the college we go too. Broke both ankles, both legs, and pelvic bone. Died from internal bleeding. Only 19 years old, less than a month older than me. RIP - Matt.

Brought me back to the days we were nearly all active on them and there were some funny moments..can anyone remember any? I need a laugh.. Anyone remember that girl stalker I had who found me from the forums and posted about? She kept on sending me pics of herself and coming on to me

  17. I haven't played either of the games, but what I want to ask is if I should play through the first one before I play the second? I'm thinking about buying one of them today but didn't know if I should just skip the first one and buy the second which I heard was a little better than the first. I'm also going to maybe pick up Singularity at Kmart today for $34.99, and also a copy of the new Dragon Quest for the Nintendo DS which just came out.

    .. well it's not that bad. I've been easing up on the internet lately since I really should be more productive in my life, but after my birthday-anniversary-Canada Day experience my memory of those 3 weeks is cloudy at best and I'm pretty sure my liver and kidneys aren't too happy with all the overtime they've had to do. So what do I do once I start feeling better .. we completely tear apart and rearrange all the furniture in our apartment of course. I started this on Tuesday and am only have done. Tam and I are planning on adopting two kittins at the begining of August and I wanted to make our place more cat friendly (and safer for them) by opening more window for them …

  19. Well, it's almost here. This Tuesday, I have a(nother) bicep repair surgery at 9:30 in the morning. I'm going to be off work for 3 weeks...my surgeon wants me to take 8 weeks off, but there's not way I can afford that, so I talked him down to 3. This is my second bicep repair surgery in less than a year. *sigh* Sadly, it's the other arm this time...my right arm. Ugh...and I drive a stick shift. It's gonna be interesting to say the least. Wish me luck. At least I know what to expect...kinda sorta. Lot's of pain and difficulty bathing. Luckily, my b/f has offered to be my sexy male nurse.

  21. Play.com is reporting on the specifications of the Kinect, and that "this information is based on specifications supplied by manufacturers...". So yeah, it's probably real. Here is the kicker though. In the specifications is says that the Kinect can recognize and track up to 6 people, including 2 active players. WHAAA!?!? Really? So all those videos of families dancing around stupidly in front of their television are bogus because ALL of them aren't playing the games? Only two of them at a time? And the Kinect also only has the ability to map those two active players to Live Avatars? Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaame! http://www.gamespot.com/news/6267556.html?tag=latestheadlines…

    I'm a VERY sad panda at the moment. First off, I'm pretty broke right now. Thankfully the wife starts her new job next week but won't start getting paid till the end of July, so I can wait, but it still sucks. I bought a 52" Sony rear-projection TV about eight years ago now. I got it brand new direct from Sony at a great price at the time (about $800). It's been a champ, it really has. Never had a single problem with it. Well, for the past year or so it's definitely been on its last legs. The screen has progressively been getting pretty blurry but it's been totally usable. Coy just called me and told me that the TV totally died. Well, not TOTALLY, but half the scre…
