Our Justin.tv streaming channel needs a little bit of updating. I'm requesting the help of some of our members to rewrite the about section. We just need something to update our bio to where we are now. I believe we can get together and come up with some ideas at least. The bio we have now isn't bad at all just a little dated. We are more than just Xbox gamers now, and if it's just a matter of just saying gamers then so be it. I just wanted some opinions. The current info is posted below. For all you reddit lovers come over to http://www.reddit.com/r/Gamercide/ . I know a lot of people now a days enjoy reddit and I think we could bring in a lot of members this way. Subscribe and share with your friends, and post whatever you wish, or join just to keep up with everyone else.

Ok. I wanted to bring this up to everyone and see what you all thought. I think it would be a good idea to have a Gamercide stream account on JTV. The account could be ran and moderated by trusted individuals from Gamercide and then other or all members can stream to it. This can be done because the stream ID is all that's needed to stream, not the Account password. Streamers could be given the Stream ID, and then stream to the Gamercide channel. The downside being, only one person could stream at a time. So, there would have to be some kind of schedule involved. I understand that not everyone could stick to a true schedule, but we could use it as a general guide line. W…

I wanted to get a bug thread started for the portal pages. The portal is in a working state now, and I would love to see people participating. However, I do know it has its issues. Dyyno is working very closely with us to resolve these issues as they arise. So, I will start with a list of bugs they know about and are working on. Then, if everyone would post issues as they come across them that would be great. This will help us develop an increasingly more enjoyable portal for us to use. I read this article in GI this month, and I have to say it really hit home. This sums up exactly how I feel about gamerscore and achievements in general. I've been known to go out of my way for the occasional pick up and cheevo, but in general I tend to let them go. I play through and pick up those sparkly whatevers if I see them, but I don't look for them outright. The only achievements I'm concerned with are story related. I really don't care if it gives me points or even avatar items. I'd rather get something out of the game for it. Gaming retail giant GameStop and the successful online gaming website IGN have merged together in an effort to attract more gamers to do what else, but to visit their websites if that was at all necessary. GameStop who is in the middle of pulling a Pinky and the Brain operation, wants access to your Xbox Live Account in the future through a GameStop ID allowing digital purchases of points and DLC to go directly to your console before you leave the store.
