Anyone else play it? I haven't followed the series from the beginning or very consistently, having only played 4(which I loved) and 6(which I also loved, even in spite of it's terrible DLC plan), but this....felt like another Splinter Cell Conviction to me. Hated just about everything about it. Hated the dogfight mode that pretty much turned it into an on rails shooter, hated the default controls, hated the way the camera jerks around, hated the helicopter mission, hated that you appear to have regen health(?). Just felt like they tried to make it into a CoD/HAWX game. Anyone else try it out yet?

So, since the game is due out in May, I figured this would be a good time to start a thread on this game. I for one have been waiting for it since it was announced as a Vista game, so my anticipation has deteriorated and been revitalized with the more recent showings of the game. I am a huge fan of psychological thrillers, and this game carries the pedigree of Remedy (Team behind Max Payne 1 & 2), so I'm expecting a top-notch story to go with the scare factor. Fantastic game, if nobody wants to buy it, because of the shortness of the game. (Looking at you PK.) Then you're missing out, just sayin. The story, and voice acting are top notch. It has some minor technical problems. Like the camera, and controls....But that's nitpicking, if anyone is on the fence about this game, quit thinking about it, and go buy it. It has quite a bit of replay value from what I can tell. Its made me jump a few times as well, I'm proud to say. Well, anyway, I just wanted to give you guys my opinion on it. So, yeah, go buy it!

I bought Lara Croft :GoL, Monday Night Combat, Mass Effect 2 DLC and most likely will get Limbo when it goes on sale either tomorrow or Friday. I also got Forza 3 Ultimate, Lost Planet 2, Nier, and PoP The Forgotten Sands as gifts. I know Nier and LP 2 were on sale at GameStop and BB respectively, so that's probably why I got them as gifts, but they are pretty decent games. For the prices that they were, I wouldn't have complained about buying them myself though. Saw both used for pretty cheap at gamestop and decided to pick them up, playing through 1 now and made it to the 4th chapter before taking a break, really like it. Anyone else play them?

Anyone finding it harder and harder to spend $60 or full price on some of these new titles coming out? Like, for example, Brink. It is fun and I think the game got a worse rap than it should of but still it is unpolished. My friend brought it over and we had a blast but $60 seems expensive for that game for what it is. Brink only had 8 maps and they all look nearly the same lol! Homefront was terrible. It seems like certain aspects of games are going backwards for me. Graphics and gameplay wise.
