Ok, so you went off the beaten path, be sure to post it here.

  1. Started by Siren,

I took this photo down in DC a few years ago at the Vietnam wall and I thought it fit today. I know that there are a bunch of us here in the community that were in the military and I wanted to give a shout out to all of the members who are actively serving and our veterans. Unfortunately my mind is awful at remembering names, so please post their names and I'll add them below. I want to post Rincon, but I can't remember. I told you...my mind is awful! Rincon PowrfulNonsense MadMikeMan Pine61 Siren The rest of the Gamercide community if you have not been mentioned and their families who have served and are actively serving. Also thank you to MWD's (military…

Came across this image via Twitter. Seems to me that this cardboard promo for Walking Dead, would have taken a few days to produce and ship out to the various retailers. Why then, would voting remain open just moments from the awards show going live? Is it treated like promo gear for championship sporting events? Make two versions of the hats and t-shirts for both teams in the final. Imagine a clear winner being chosen and you make all the promos to rush out to retailers, and a sudden surge by the #2 in voting pushes past the clear winner? Lest we forget

  3. So, I FINALLY won the battle with my new 680GTX and made my water block fit today. It didn't go as easy as I could have hoped. Had to do some modifications of the card to get the water block to fit. Pulled the 480GTX: Had to pull out all my bags of tricks: I thought these tabs were the only thing in the way. Ground them down: Installed everything. Looked and felt like everything was making contact: This wasn't the case. It must have had just a tiny gap. My temps were just about the same as on air. In other words. Complete failure. Back to the Dremel board: With a little, lot? more modification I made some clearance: This time I was confident that it was making ful…

So I used to have VS 2008 running on Vista, but upgraded to Windows 7 about nine months ago and just re-installed VS. When I go to run my code without debugging, the command window opens literally for half of a second and then closes so I can't do any user-prompted commands. What's going on and how can I fix it since this didn't occur on Vista \o/ Edit: Nevermind, found the problem.

  9. This is just too hilarious. Officer spots people getting freaky in a pickup truck. Officer approaches said steamy vehicle. Officer commands coitus to cease. And then? While the man immediately put his pants on and complied, the woman simply sat in the passenger's seat. The officer had to tell her numerous times to put her clothes on, the report says. But when the female finally got dressed, she attempted to put a cheeseburger on her foot as if it were a sandal. WHO DOES THAT!? I mean really? A cheeseburger as a sandal? Even I don't think I've been THAT drunk that I'd try something like that (and that is saying something hahaha) http://loganville.patch.com…

.. and it wasn't me! It was a body building lesbian!! So anyways, most of you know I've been trying to get into doing Special Effects make up around the NYC area and it's been going okay. I wont be winning any awards but I'm getting better. A friend of mine from another class I took at SVA contacted me about her friend who is a performance artist, and was coming into New York to do a show at some art place in Brooklyn. It was a piece about the fakeness or lameness of the L.A. plastic surgery/perfect body lifestyle .. um . I'll add the link to her site at the end of this. So she wanted me to attach a cheap prosthetic piece to her face to make it look like her eyes were rot…

So, the steristrips finally came off yesterday. It looks alot better than I thought it would. Now I have scars on both sides of my neck. One straight, and one (the new one) sorta diagonal (sp??). Was gonna include a pic of me in the neck brace, but I looked awful.

  15. I want to tell you guys about this cool program I've been doing since 2001. Its called MyPoints. When I first started the program all I did was just read the emails they sent me, and that earned me 5 points for each one. It took me a long time to earn my points that way, but I earned my rewards. It would have been quicker if I shopped online, but I didn't at that time, not that I had the money to anyway. I ended up earning several trips to Red Lobster (just by reading email!! no joke!). Thats just the reward I chose, you can choose your own of HUNDREDS. Including Paypal, Amazon, Gamestop and many many others, that come in the form of gift cards. This past Christmas I fina…

This is pathetic, a highschool team cut a player who doesn't have two legs but can throw 80 MPH. Watch the short clip. Sad part is, this kid has already been on an ESPN cover!

  21. But really!? This? THIS!?!?!? I'm actually quite speechless. I guess it explains how people sit home all day and grind non-stop towards that next Prestige level. This guy went to a bar...long story short, he met this broad and they went back to his place. Before they got undressed to do the horizontal mambo, he said, "Listen, I'm sorry but I don't think we should have sex right away". "Why's that?" she said. "Well you see, I'm hung like a baby, and I wouldn't want you to laugh and decide you didn't want to have sex with me. Why don't we get to know each other first, and then when we feel we're ready, we'll do it." So the girl agreed, but only because he was a good-looking dude and pretty nice. Several dates later, they make it back to his place again, and after some conversation, they decide it's time. She undresses and slides int…

September was childhood cancer awareness month, but Granite's school is showing support tomorrow by having all of the kids and staff wear yellow shirts. This is especially important because yesterday we found out that a family that goes to the same church where Granite has Sunday School....their little 2 year old boy was diagnosed with Leukemia after they took him to the emergency room for what they though were belly issues. The boy was immediately flown to the Hershey Medical Center which in this area is the best place to receive care. So far he has had five blood transfusions, 1 platelet transfusion, and will be receiving a pic line in his spine for chemo and also a …
