This is pretty cool. Guy is putting usb powered external hard drives in classic game cartridges. Makes for some nice nostalgia. An enterprising retro gaming fan has created what could be the ultimate external hard drive: a Legend of Zelda NES cartridge. If you have the same fond memories of Link, Ganon, finding the pieces of the Triforce, and figuring out where the heck the next secret staircase is that I do, you may be interested in this. Modder 8BitMemory is selling various one-off copies of his NES External Hard Drive, which actually isn't for the NES at all. Instead, it's a genuine 1TB external USB hard disk for PCs and Macs. It just happens to be inside Ze…

I downloaded Marathon a few months ago and loved it. So the achievements are odd numbers and totally have made my gamerscore funky. Unfortunately I can't play Marathon anymore and get the rest of the achievements, because it causes me to get motion sickness. Does anybody know of a game that has a random 4 point achievement or something like that so that I can get my gamerscore back to normal. It's irritating the fudge out of me!

Last night went from a successful night in computers to worst than to horrific! First off, I installed my 2nd cd-rom drive on my older computer Then my brother tells me theres a computer that I can have if I just hook all the parts on the inside back up, I said I was fine with that and I hooked everything up, powered her up and no screen. After examining it for a long time, looks like the motherboard, video card, or hard-drive has gone bad. Motherboard - that particular one retails for almost $400 on amazon or newegg can't remember which one I saw it through. Moving on, my computer (never opened or touched until things went bad) decided to give me an amber light and 2 bee…

Was sent this by a fellow gamer, found it to be very interesting

Does anybody have iPad? If so would you be willing to do a game review for an app?

As ghouls, ghosts, and goblins are preparing for their adventures on everyone’s favorite undead holiday Halloween, I am counting down my list for bone chilling games that terrified me so bad, I had to keep glancing over my shoulder everytime I heard the wind blow. Alan Wake In May 2010, Remedy and Microsoft finally released long awaited and very overdue survival horror title, Alan Wake. You take control of Alan Wake who is a best selling author. Unfortunately he has been suffering from writer’s block and has been unsuccessful in writing another novel. Alan and his wife, Alice travel to the small, but beautfiul town of Bright Falls to help him reopen his mind and let …

It seems like every new game I've played recently has had several game breaking bugs that happen to enough people that they should clearly have been caught during testing. These games for me include Super Meat Boy (can sometimes get duplicate bandages, resulting in the game no longer saving until you reload, which could make you lose entire chapters. Not that bad of a bug if you know to make sure the autosave logo is still popping up, though), Fallout New Vegas (I haven't even tried it yet from all of the horrible bugs I've heard of) and Fable 3 (Jasper the butler no longer talks, which takes away about 40% of the humor and prevents me from hearing any important informa…

I am doing an article about games that gave gamers a scare and would like some input. So......tell me what games gave you chills and why. You have until tomorrow (Saturday) at 8 pm to get me your input. Remember your gamertag will be tied to your thoughts, etc... Spanks Gamerciders!

It seems that a new You Don't Know Jack game is going to be coming out as a downloadable release (XBLA, PSN, Wii) later this year. I am very excited to hear this, and the game may be one of the few 1200 MS point purchases I make (I can almost guarantee it will be $15). I loved the old YDKJ games, they were funny as hell. Especially the wacky commercials, which will also return in the new game.

Exciting news for all of you Monday Night Combat fans out there! As promised, Uber Entertainment has detailed the upcoming free “Spunky Cola Special” DLC for their Xbox Live Arcade smash hit which will be made available sometime “in November“. In addition to a couple new maps, Uber is tweaking classes, re-arranging existing maps, adding more voice comments for the hilarious announcer Mickey Cantor, added clan tag support, took cues from Modern Warfare’s Prestige options by adding the all-new “All Star” feature, dangled a super tasty new pickup under our collective noses and much, much more! I have to admit, it’s a ridiculous amount of changes for an already amazing game, …

So what is everyone gonna be!? My daughter decided on Batgirl haha. Every year it is my tradition to match her in some way. So I thought about the Batman universe and decided it is time for me to be.............. The Joker! It has been good fun. I went out and have been piecing it together. I went straight to Goodwill first and found this purple long coat that I think will go really well with this. My wife is gonna help me make some of the other stuff. It's more fun to piece it together than to buy those costumes in a bag. I will have to posts some pics when Halloween comes!

Remember the contest prize that Kevin won last year? You know what I'm talking about. That 5l pound behemoth of a gummy bear that AudaciousKevin consumed over a period of MONTHS? He even made an awesome animated GIF out of it (don't know where it went, but it's hella funny). Well, from the same makers of that disgusting creation of sugary evilness comes.... THE BIGGEST GUMMY WORM IN THE WORLD! Contest prize? If you won it you would HAVE to eat it and document it online for us like Kevin did. LoL

The growing list of expensive games that are being added to the XBLA are lacking creativity and not worth the amount of points that they are releasing for. Sure there are some downloadable worthy titles that will keep you busy for hours like Braid, Kingdom for Keflings, Limbo, and Shadow Complex, but what happens when you grow tired of repeatedly playing the same games over and over and want a new arcade game? You are faced with 1200 MS point buys that are not worth even a discounted price of 400 MS points. Here are a list of games that could revamp and save the XBLA from disappearing into the ugly dark hole that it is slowly digging for itself with out of control pri…

http://feeds.wired.c...~3/tOWjpysx7Pg/ Most StarCraft II players can only own a few battlecruisers. Maybe 10 or 15, if they play their cards right, but even with that kind of titanic fleet, your average gamer will still fall to the proper combination of opposition spacecraft in the real-time strategy game. StarCraft II player gm0ney did things a bit differently. Using a “trainer” program he downloaded from the website Cheat Happens, he found he could remove the game’s supply limit and steamroll his opponents with hundreds of gargantuan warships. If it looked like he might lose, he could switch to God Mode and watch his units turn invincible. He was clearly cheat…
