The map pack will only be available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace upon release. No date for when the other platforms will receive it. The $15.00 First Strike map pack includes 4 multiplayer maps, “Discovery”, “Kowloon”, “Stadium”, and “Berlin Wall” while the zombie map is called “Ascension”. Say this phrase out loud please, “the ultimate fighting weapon”. Did you say it? If so, you can now be sued by the UFC! Ubisoft is feeling the wrath of the UFC’s parent company, Zuffa who feels that Ubisoft’s fighting game for the Kinect, “Fighter’s Uncaged” is “false association with the UFC and “deliberate” confusion in the mind of the consumer…” and is also tarnishing the UFC brand and causing them to lose money. So what did Ubisoft do that peeved off Zuffa? If you guessed used that phrase in their game that I asked you to say earlier, then you are correct. Fighter’s Uncaged asks gamers to become “the ultimate fighting weapon”. Apparently in Zuffa’s mind, the UFC …

PS3 owners are outraged over the recent patch that was put out for Call of Duty Black Ops which was suppose to improve the problems that gamers were having connecting to mulitplayer matches. Instead, the patch which went out on Monday has made the problems much worse and PS3 owners want the game fixed and they want it fixed now. Found by Eurogamer on the official website for Call of Duty Black Ops is a thread that was started in the forum for the PS3 version that has been named, “the retard 1.04 patch“. When the trailer for the newest Elder Scrolls V was shown at the Spike Video Game Awards last Saturday there excitement, squealing, and then confusion amongst fans of the series who have waited years to hear anything regarding a new Elder Scrolls game. The confusion came from a tweet from Bethesda later that night in which Bethesda said, “Seeing lots of speculation about #tesv game engine. It’s brand new… and it’s spectacular!”. Well consider yourself confused no more, because Bethesda’s Community Manager, Nick Breckon has sorted the issue out. According to Breckon, Skyrim will feature a completely “brand new, internally created, gameplay and graphics engine”. The Elder…

Some of you may remember back in May, some indie developers got together and put on a cool little pack of games for charity called the Humble Indie Bundle. Enticing you with a hilarious video, you could choose how much you wanted to pay for the bundle, and how you wanted your money distributed between developers and charities. It turned out very successful, and it seems they’re at it again, with even more great games. The best part is you can still choose what to pay. You could donate a pittance, or you could donate a sizeable amount for bonus Karma, or “feel-good points” if you’re not into that sort of thing. Check out the video after you hit the jump 20 pixels belo…

Okay .. so you know that I pull no punches when it comes to critiques, well now I guess it's pay back time. Over the past few weeks I have been taking an entry level course in Adobe Flash at SVA and our final project is to have an actual working website built entirely in Flash. And .. well .. here it is. I'm not a designer and I really hate web design but I need to have an online presence these days to help find a job. I wanted to keep it simple, basic and easy to navigate. It's more of a portal for what I want (and like) to do. I have some of my Stop Motion up, a few things with After Effects (mostly green screen removal) and some of my SPX Make Up. Plus two pages with n…

So I finally got my beastly new system yesterday. Here are the full specs: http://www.ibuypower...aspx?eid=122969 So far I've been able to play Just Cause 2 at max settings at a 1920x1080 resolution at 45 frames per second. It's... beautiful. :') Here are some images. The next thing I need to get is a nice chair, and eventually a new desk. Also a UPS (Uninterrubtable Power Supply) would be good. This monster makes my Xbox and Wii look pitiful. I barely even have space for it, so this setup is mostly temporary. Being very sick, with a bad headache, painfully sore throat, and lack of energy, has exacerbated my lethargy so I haven't bothered cleaning up, there's just …

Developed by: Blue Fang Games Players: 1 Platforms: Apple iPad (Requires iOS 3.2 or later) Rated: 9+ (Frequent/Intense Cartoon or Fantasy Violence) As the player you control the females (and sometimes the lazy male) of a lion pride as they stock and kill prey to feed the pride. It’s simple, it’s fun, it’s easy to play, and hard to master. At a price of $4.99 from the iTunes App store some players may feel it’s a bit steep of a price since the average App runs around $0.99 -$2.99. Well this is far from an average App. It’s difficult me for to review or recommend games for mobile platforms such as smart phones and tablets. Most of these “games” can be classified under time …
