For my last assignment in my English class I need to make contributions to a wiki and then write about my decisions. I have started on the fallout wiki and am looking for opinions on what I have so far and suggestions to improve on. Here is the first one I have wrote: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Scorpion_poison_grease

Users from all across the board, Xbox 360/PS3/PC, are taking to Metacritic by storm to slam the most recent Call of Duty title to be released. Currently on Metacritic for the 360 it's averaging about a 2.5/10 from almost 1200 User Reviews. The biggest complaint is that they feel it's a complete re-hash with the same graphics engine. While I can agree with that sentiment on some levels, they did change a bunch of things including weapon unlocks, how killstreaks are achieved, and added a couple new game modes. Why all the rage? Games like Madden, Tiger Woods, FIFA, Basketball and Baseball games and other sports titles come on consistently and on an annual basis with ge…

Going to break the rule of no Destructoid links on this forum, since they brought this touching story to light. Go there and read about Michael John Mamaril. http://www.destructoid.com/gearbox-to-honor-late-fan-as-an-npc-in-borderlands-2-215160.phtml Proud of both Gearbox and Destructoid for making this happen. Peace and well wishes to the family of Michael John Mamaril.

SALE GOES LIVE AT 2:30 PM EASTERN TIME, TODAY NOVEMBER 4TH This is going to sell out I'm guessing in less than 3 minutes. www.tigerdirect.com/sectors/campaigns/hp/touchpad_available.asp?SRCCODE=WEM2874TT&cm_mmc=email-_-Main-_-WEM2874-_-tigeremail I got an email yesterday from Tiger Direct (since I signed up to be notified) that they received a new shipment of HP Touchpads. I've wanted one for a while now, at the "firesale" price of course, but I don't know if I'll jump on this. I pre-ordered a Kindle Fire for Coy and I to use already but I know that Cyanogen is working on porting AndroidOS over to the Touchpad which would make it much more appealing. Anyways, the b…

Wow. In the cosmic scale of things, this friggin' asteroid is coming REALLY close to the earth. It's about a quarter of a mile wide so colliding with us would do some serious damage.

This video may upset some, so I've hidden it behind a spoiler button. It's a dad (also a judge) out of control whipping on his 16 year old daughter. Is it too far? Was there a time in the confrontation when it wasn't too far? How would you have punished your daughter for downloading games/music illegally? Should he still be a judge? Should his daughter have put this on the internet?

If you've signed up a few weeks ago, the second step is now live. Head to the Microsoft Connect site and log in. From there, go to the upper left and click "Xbox LIVE Update Home". From there, click on "Starting 11/1 - Console Registrations". Now go down and click the first link inside of "Step One". Get your "key", copy it and then input that key into your console. It will prompt a small download (under 2mbs). Once that is finished, run the program and follow the easy and quick instructions. That tool will upload your serial number and other information that you once had to input manually. You're done! Validation and admittance comes within 1 or 2 days. Enjoy.

It's super easy. Post one time. There's only five people in the top 20 for today (and past several days). http://gamercide.org/forum/index.php?app=forums&module=extras&section=stats

The House version of the Internet Blacklist Bill was released October 26, 2011, with no effort to fix problems that existed in the Senate version. A violation of the First Amendment, it is contrary to official positions of internet freedom and censorship. “Under the Internet Blacklist Bill -- S.968, formally called the PROTECT IP Act -- the Department of Justice would force search engines, browsers, and service providers to block users' access to websites that have been accused of copyright infringement -- without even giving them a day in court.” This bill could shut down YouTube, Twitter and many other social websites that bring together the Occupy movements across …

Imma start this out with the absolute best baby costume I've ever seen. Saw this today on another site and bust out laughing here at work. Post up some good ones people!

A study of 42 gamers aged 15 to 21 who played for at least ten hours a week revealed that most have experienced ‘games transfer phenomena’ – doing or thinking things in real life as if they were still in a fantasy environment. The report said a few participants reported ‘criminal thoughts’ such as recreating Grand Theft Auto, which awards points for ‘wrecking things and killing people’ while they are driving. His death on Thursday at age 69 – confirmed by Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibril – came as Libyan fighters defeated Gadhafi's last holdouts in his hometown of Sirte, the last major site of resistance in the country. Their final declaration of victory came weeks after Gadhafi was swept from power by rebels who drove triumphantly into the capital of Tripoli on Aug. 21, capping a six-month civil war. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/10/20/muammar-gaddafi-dead-libya_n_1021843.html

Count the months on your knuckles and the grooves between your knuckles. Leave out your thumb knuckle. Every month that lands on a knuckle is 31 days, every month that lands on a groove between knuckles is 30 days (or 28 for February). http://lifehacker.com/232828/macgyver-tip-use-your-knuckles-to-remember-each-months-days

Talk about your qwik turnaround. Netflix CEO Reed Hastings announced this morning that Netflix will not be splitting into two separate services as planned. The news comes less than a month after the company's stock went into freefall following its announced split into disc-based and streaming entities named Qwikster and Netflix, respectively. "It is clear that for many of our members two websites would make things more difficult, so we are going to keep Netflix as one place to go for streaming and DVD," Hasting wrote on the company's official blog this morning. "This means no change: one website, one account, one password... in other words, no Qwikster." Read the rest in …
