Well, if you're looking for the best of the best in video cards, AMD just dropped the price of it's flagship by $300. This card is on par with the NVIDIA 690 and Titan, but is now $300 cheaper. Still expensive at $700, but newegg has a PowerColor Brand listed for 589.99 after rebate. Oh, and you get 8 free games with the purchase: Crysis 3/ Bioshock Infinite/ Tomb Raider/ FarCry3/ Deus Ex: Human Revolution/ Hitman: Absolution/ Sleeping Dogs/ FarCry3: Blood Dragon TechSpot Article

Several companies seem to be taking a chance at releasing smart watches within the next 2 years. Concept seems pretty cool. http://qz.com/101058/smart-watch-explosion/ Now I'm just sitting here waiting to see if when Google will move on this. I would love an android powered smartwatch. Could just go for a Pebble smart watch but may be fun to see how this "new market" may drive out in the near future. http://getpebble.com/

So I've been trying to get a new external HDD for a while, but I never had any money. However, I just won a $50 gift card to Best Buy in a school drawing, and I'm going to start saving up the rest. Does anyone have any suggestion on which brand or anything? I'm looking to spend under $100 if possible. Also, it kinda has to be at Best Buy, because of my gift card. Haha

I have prettymuch decided that I want an Android tablet. I have been looking at the new Nexus 7 Tablet, but am somewhat turned off by the idea that there is no sdcard slot. I know a few of you have tablets and am interested in recommendations. Here is what I am looking for: Price Range: $150-$300 GPS: yes MicroSD: yes Memory: ~1GB Processor: Tegra 2 or Tegra 3 WiFi: yes 3G/4G: no Android Version: 4.0 ICS or 4.1 Jellybean preferred. Good development community for rooting, custom ROMs, etc. Any ideas? Been looking at the Samsung Galaxy series and a few from Asus so far.

  11. Google's stated reason for the ban is that the Android app allegedly "interferes with or accesses another service or product in an unauthorized manner." This policy is broad, vague, and arbitrary. It isn't clear yet how far Google is going to go in censoring the Play Store. Are they just going to target ad blockers? Ad blockers are not only useful and extremely popular, but also currently the only way that Internet users can effectively protect themselves against non-consensual third party tracking. Or is Google going to follow the letter of its policy closely, in which case we would expect to see other useful privacy-enhancing technologies blocked from the Play Store, su…

So I read the other day on my pulse app for android about IBM's new super computer. Apparently it's capable of 10 quadrillion calculations per second.. crazy big number. To bring that to perspective, the article said "If every single person in the united states made 1 calculations every second, it would take them almost a year to do what this computer can do in one second." absurd. But they said that it's going to be used to predict climate change, and calculate the expansion of the universe. haha idk i just thought i'd relay some information.

So I got a MIDI keyboard, but the drivers aren't supported for Windows 7 64-bit. So I'm looking for a MIDI keyboard (USB interface) that would be supported by Win7 64-bit so I can use it as an input in the program I use for music production. I'm having a hard time finding one so any suggestions would be amazing.

  20. Whoa. Apple just won a big court victory against HTC that could force HTC to stop selling its Android phones in the United States. The United States International Trade Commission ruled that HTC was infringing on an Apple patent that effects HTC Android devices running Android 1.6 to 2.2. The devices that may be banned from being sold in the US is basically a who's who list of Android phones: Droid Incredible, Evo 4G, T-Mobile G2, Nexus One and a bunch of older Android devices. The patent that the courts ruled HTC was infringing on (#5,946,647) is potentially a big one. According to Fortune, who took a deep look at the specific patent, it works like this: When an iPhone …

So I broke down and upgraded my phone. I got a hot deal on amazon wireless for this at only $99 bucks. They are still doing it by the way. The phone itself is one of the best I have seen overall that is out currently. I know next week something better will be out but oh well haha. I left my iphone behind for an android device. My 3gs was getting old. You just can't beat the specs on this phone even compared to the iphone 4gs. Not only that I like the flexibility I get with android. I help people setup email on there phones at work and am used to both interfaces. Can't wait till it arrives. wireless.amazon.com
