Like jail breaking them? That shit will ruin phones.

There is a difference between rooting/jailbreaking and unlocking. One gets you admin access to you device and enables you to remove bloatware and other crap from your device. The other allows you to use you device on more networks than just the carrier you purchased it from.

Still stupid though.
