Oh Look, Rep. Mike Rogers Wife Stands To Benefit Greatly From CISPA Passing... from the no-conflict,-no-interest deptIt would appear that Rep. Mike Rogers, the main person in Congress pushing for CISPA, has kept rather quiet about a very direct conflict of interest that calls into serious question the entire bill. It would appear that Rogers' wife stands to benefit quite a lot from the passage of CISPA, and has helped in the push to get the bill passed. It's somewhat amazing that no one has really covered this part of the story, but it highlights, yet again, the kind of activities by folks in Congress that make the public trust Congress less and less. It has seemed quite…

http://imgur.com/gallery/U8keS Found this on Imgur while trying to upload a picture to share with ya'll. From the ones that loaded for me, they looked pretty sweet. I think there is a thread on reddit about it, that is what the source linked to. [This may need to be moved to photos.]

Help Gamercide make its own version of Cards Against Humanity. As soon as we have just a few cards I will create an addon to be used on our server. If we get enough cards in it, I will make it a full deck that can be played by itself. Let's do this! Black Cards: Can be in the form of a question or fill in the blanks. Maximum of 3 blanks White Cards: Pretty much any response. So, I've been notified this will be more amusing if everyone doesn't see the cards first. So, PM away!

Retired Pakistani army general Pervez Musharraf is on the run after a Pakistani court ordered the cancellation of his bail application and subsequent arrest. Musharrafis fled the scene in a black bullet proof vehicles immediately following Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui’s announcement that his bail would be cancelled. On Tuesday he was banned from standing as a candidate in the Pakistani elections, crushing his ambition to re-enter the country’s public life. This town is only 15 or so miles away, i was hoping to get better upload speed for my connection but I dont think it will extend this far. "The announcement that Provo will be the third city to get Google Fiber was made at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, after being hyped up on social media with the hashtag #ProvoEpicAnnouncement." "The service is expected to roll out by the end of 2013, and will build on the fiber-optic network iProvo." http://www.ksl.com/?sid=24830289&nid=148&title=provo-announces-google-fiber-partnership&fm=home_page&s_cid=featured-1

Early reports are at least a dozen people injured.

I wish I could have had my grandfather try this. He would have really enjoyed it.

hope you have a great day!!! It must be cool when your b-day falls on a Friday.

So, I'm going to break down and pay full price for a game. Something I haven't done in a long ass time. I've narrowed it down to a few choices and wanted to get your help. Below are the options: Gears of War Judgement God of War Ascension Sly Cooper 4 Injustice: Gods Among Us I'm leaning towards Injustice. I've really dug the comics and the iOS version is getting the hell played out of it. Already have Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, Dishonored, X-Com...blah blah blah.... Go forth my good Gamercide family and discuss!

Hey you! Have a fan-fuckin-tastic day today and a great birthday!

http://groupthink.kinja.com/payback-for-women-who-ve-ever-been-questioned-about-the-472468506 This made me laugh so hard that I had to share.

Those of you who know me, know I'm not really a person who shares feelings. You will never be able to go back and find a post of me sharing anything personal that is going on in my life. Sure I've had some hard times in my life but I have never shared them on here. I'm a strong person who just keeps marching and never shares how I'm feeling. I am going to talk about something now, and I don't want sympathy, I feel weird when I talk about stuff I'm feeling. Anyways a few months ago my uncle died, it was pretty unexpected and I was the first one notified so I was the bearer of bad news, which is a first for me. I went to the funeral, and I notice I didn't feel anything. I w…

I remember hearing about this from somebody out here but anyways.... I think it was Ava but I could be entirely wrong. Finally got around to buying some today and can't wait to bring 'em out when everyone's drunk at our little "friends get together". Thing is going to be hilarious.

It's the end of an era. With the release of Don McLeans's "American Pie", Harmonix is ending its weekly DLC releases for Rock Band. I don't know how many of you played or still play the game, but after 271 consecutive weeks, it's finally over. 4000 tracks and 1500 different artists later, this really is a feat that nobody else will match any time soon, if ever.

The House of Mouse has officially killed LucasArts and cancelled Star Wars 1313 and all other projects that were in development. I would say this is a sad day, but in all honesty Star Wars Kinect was the last game they developed and released and we all know how that turned out. “After evaluating our position in the games market, we’ve decided to shift LucasArts from an internal development to a licensing model, minimizing the company’s risk while achieving a broader portfolio of quality Star Wars games," LucasArts parent company LucasFilm said in a statement. "As a result of this change, we’ve had layoffs across the organization. We are incredibly appreciative and proud …

Happy April Fools!

I'm glad she wrote this. I'd encourage you all to read it and possibly discuss it back here when you're done. I'm applying the three strikes [X] rule for this thread. If you have a problem with this thread, or a comment, give the thread a strike [X]. If it reaches three strikes, it'll be deleted. However, we're adults, and I think we should be able to discuss this without getting personal, upset or derogatory. http://trixie360.wordpress.com/2013/03/28/sexism-in-games-a-mea-culpa/

Our main page will be down for a time today. Something went wrong on the back end. I have IP.Board Support looking into it right now. Seems to have went to hell when I upgraded. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I hope you have a fantastic day today bro! Enjoy it!
