Anybody watch this or the other playoff games? It was a great game! Tebow actually looked like a pro QB for the first time. I saw one duck pass, but I think that was about that.

happy 4th folks. I was just wondering if anyone here played any sports. I myself play semi-pro(adult pop warner)football. Started playing in 1992-95 and again in 06-present.

Bill Callahan was head coach of the Raiders, during a year that my team showed AMAZING performance and skill that hasn't been seen in a decade now. And he hated his team. Now allegations are coming out that Callahan purposely threw the game during Oakland's 48-21 superbowl loss to Tampa in 2003, allegations made by more than one player now. Two of their best receivers on the field, Tim Brown and the legendary Jerry Rice, both commented in recent interviews that they felt Callahan sabotaged the team and their chances by completely switching the team's game plan less than two days before the big event. Instead of the ground oriented game the team had been practicing, Cal…

Are we having a fantasy league this year?

Anybody interested in a gamercide league?

Floyd Mayweather Jr. used his speed and accuracy to win a unanimous decision Saturday night over a game Miguel Cotto in one of his toughest fights ever. Boxer improve to 43-0 with unanimous decision over Coto. Mayweather was guaranteed $32 million, who was forced to fight every minute of all 12 rounds. Coto, who fell to 37-3 was guaranteed his biggest purse ever, $8 million.

Lots of free agency moves. Feel sorry for pk's raiders though. Theyre stil trying to get cap space to sign people, and no draft pics til 5th rnd curently...

I created a Fantasy Football league through NFL.com if anyone would like to join http://gamercide.league.fantasy.nfl.com/ 12 teams and 6 team playoff...11 open spots left, I'll add more managers if needed. The Draft is tentatively set for online on Saturday August 23rd @ 6pm EDT, could be changed if I get enough feedback. If you do decide to join, League ID: 2458442 password is: GC2014 Good Luck

Did anyone watch UFC 154, Georges ST Pierre vs Carlos Condit? If not, *SPOILERS BELOW* What a battle. GSP came back from a very lengthy layoff due to a torn MCL, which led to a torn ACL. A devastating, possibly career ending injury. The champ, although showing some signs of ring rust, and was almost put away in the third round, came back to win decisively over a very game Carlos Condit in what turned out to be his toughest fight to date. Aside from a brilliant kick to the head of GSP from Condit that almost ended the fight early in the third round, the story of this epic battle was GSP and his freakish abilities as a wrestler. Repeatedly taking Condit down at wil…

These guys are Rener and Ralek Gracie, relatives of THE Gracie family, famous for introducing Jiu Jitsu to MMA. They do these breakdowns of fights and explain the methodology behind what's happening in the fight when submissions are taking place. Pretty neat if you're into MMA.

Did beyonce do an Illuminati hand sign during the halftime show?

I see the Pats and Giant's are playing.. again.. The only reason I know this is because my room mate is a huge, and by huge I mean custom patriots jersey huge, fan. I personally don't follow much football but surprised to see no discussion on here!

Woot! We're doing good this season. Sitting 5-4 makes me a happy panda. Too bad there was another violent incident after their most recent victory over the Chargers this past weekend. Dude got stabbed in the parking lot for some reason.

Finally announced for M.L King weekend in Miami

Big article. Won't paste it here, otherwise you'd be drowned immediately with text. Read it, though. It's crazy. http://deadspin.com/5906658

43 year old Junior Seau, a fantastic linebacker in his day, was just found dead inside his Oceanside, CA home. Reports are still coming out at this time, but it may be suicide. He is now the 8th member of the 1994 AFC Champion San Diego Chargers to have died. Yikes.

Anyone end up watching this last night or on YouTube? Pretty boring fight but, damn, Mayweather hasn't lost a fucking step. Picked Guerrero apart in like 10 out of 12 rounds. His right hands were nuts. Absolute Mayweather-esque domination.

I don't how many of you guys know where Watertown,NY is but this past Sunday my semi pro league had it's All-Star game. Talk about cold. It got to a high of 33 and what was even worse was I forgot my under armour. Just a few shots of my team who showed. 15 got picked 7 paid to play. We won 14-12

So what's everyone's thoughts on the new kick-off rules? We've had one week of pre-season games, and almost all were touchbacks. The few that weren't normally would have been, but several young players are trying to make the team and this is the only way to show what they have to offer. Of all the one's I've seen and heard of so far, San Diego still has the only Kick-Off return TD... and it was the only one that got even close. Also, what are your thoughts on the new review after every touchdown? At first I thought it was a horrible idea, but after watching a couple of games it doesn't seem to slow things down like I thought it would.
