Music

Hey, I have all of my electronic music on my new YouTube channel as well as my Bandcamp page. I don't play games all the time, so music is about the only thing I can contribute. XD YouTube page: http://www.youtube.com/user/cpsofficial Bandcamp: http://countstep.bandcamp.com/

Rapper Chris Kelly, the "Mac Daddy" to to Chris Smith's "Daddy Mac", was pronounced dead yesterday evening from an apparent drug overdose. He was 34 years old. Kriss Kross was a early 90's duo famous for wearing the clothes backwards. They reunited earlier this year to perform and it's kind of sad because when I was younger (I was like 12 when "Jump" came out) I totally remember jamming out to their music. My brothers and sisters even used to tease me by singing "Warm it up" and I would just respond "I'm about to!" Sad that drugs takes another young life. Tribute:

I just got back from seeing Big Head Todd at Irving Plaza in NYC .. and HOLY_SH*T can that guy play guitar!! Good lord what a great show!!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_beats I became slightly interested after hearing about it and doing a little research. Like hypnotherapy, I don't think it would work for everyone. After listening to a few, I can say that not all "work" for me. I certainly did feel strange sensations with some of them. I'd like to listen to the supposed "Hand of God" one, but I'm not shelling out the asking price of $200. LoL

This is the guy from the mystery team movie, and is a comedian. I had no clue he was a musician either and this song is off the hook. http://youtu.be/E7IPOIQoxMw

I think it's always good to try to promote local bands. So I present to you: Corey Amaral & The Interpretation They are a really talented local band from my area, the drummer went to my school and is now at Berklee for percussion. I believe all the members go/went to Berklee, so obviously they are a very talented bunch of musicians. Their lead singer and rhythm guitarist, Corey Amaral, also has a deformed right arm which makes his ability that much more impressive. I suggest you give them a listen especially if you like a sound similar to Jason Mraz or John Mayer. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Corey-Amaral/156300782456?ref=ts Interview: http://bostonmusicspotlight.com…

New Daft Punk album coming out! http://randomaccessmemories.com/

Sad times indeed. Dave Brockie was found dead by fellow roommates within his residence yesterday. Dave was 50 years old at the time, and no cause of death is yet known at this time. Gwar was a legendary metal band, full of humor and even political messages. Their crazy style of outrageousness and insane costumes, combined with killer music, will never escape my memory. Rest in peace Dave.

Del the Funky Homosapien has finally announced that his long awaited sophomore record followup to Deltron 3030 has been finished. Rejoice.

http://www.americansongwriter.com/2013/05/full-album-stream-dillon-hodges-rumspringa/ We’re excited to bring you Rumspringa, the debut album from promising young folk artist and champion flat-picker Dillon Hodges. “Rumspringa is an album made up of fictional stories and characters,” Hodges tells American Songwriter. “However, I have learned it is nearly impossible for me to write a song without leaving a reflection of myself between the lines. The title of the record may actually be the most revealing. For the Amish, Rumspringa is a period of time during adolescence where a youth can leave the community and experience the outside world. For me, when I made this recor…

I love dirt nasty. You should too. He's the rapper from scary movie 3 or whichever one. Used to be a veejay on MTV back when being a veejay was still fashionable.... http://youtu.be/dgdNQuzARBI http://youtu.be/ZCeebCvgjws

He uses nothing but the sounds from a video or movie, to make his songs. One he actually did for Disney Assassin got me hooked.

eyveryone just wondered. does anyone here play an instrument? If so which ones? What gear do you use? What types of music do you play? I'm a Bassist, I've been playing alittle over 3yrs now, I play a Fnder American Standard Jazz Bass but I own a Squier Vintage Modified Precision Bass which is what I learned to play on. I also play guitar which I've been playing for 5yrs but I prefer bass. Just like my musical tastes I like to play a diverse amount of music from pop punk to alternative to metal. I'm not in a band but I'd like to join one if I met the right people and I'm alittle shy so it would be nice to work up the conffidence to perform infront of a crowd. What about ev…
