Square Enix has decided to delay the release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the ambitious cyberpunk shooter in development at Eidos Montréal. Originally scheduled for the first quarter of 2011, the Deus Ex launch has been pushed into the Japanese publisher's next fiscal year, which runs from April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012. According to a corporate announcement, the delay will allow Eidos more time to "further polish" the project. The demand for greater quality isn't unprompted, as the news came alongside a revision to the company's consolidated results forecast for the fiscal year ending MArch 31, 2011. I've had my eye on this ever since I caught intial wind of it back in October. Just watching the trailer for it brings back memories of the large cabinet roaring over all other machines in the arcade. I read that it features a "drop in" feature allowing other players outside of your party to join in as if it was a real arcade unit. Anyone else really excited for this release, or am I just sinking into nostalgia?

Where are my Trials people? I'm alone on the leaderboard for DLC tracks and it makes me cry. It also makes me happy though cuz I'm at the top. Too bad there's no new minigames this time.
