You’ll never have to stop questing in the upcoming open-world role-playing game, to be released November 11 for Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3. Skyrim director Todd Howard told Wired.com in a phone interview Monday that the game will feature a never-ending stream of procedurally generated content, giving players an infinite number of things to do. “The vibe of the game is that it’s something that you can play forever,” Howard said. I put this together really quick in MSPaint, using the wiki for the Morrowind version, and a screengrab from the video below.

The headset that the platinum edition comes with, will not work on Xbox LIVE. It's a cheap headset anyways. If you've ordered that edition, cancel and get the regular version. Headset is not compatible with Xbox LIVE. For use with 3.5MM audio input and smart-phone devices only.

while ive been playing this game and have been enjoying every second of it one thing that keeps occurring constantly has been bugging the crap out of me. despite wearing full heavy armor, everything literally two shots me. Was trying to kill a saber tooth and it kept killing me withing two hits. so out of curiosity i took my armor off and charged at it, and to not much surprise i died again in two hits. I know i have it on the hardest setting but there is literally no room for error at all, I can understand stuff hurting more because its on a higher difficulty but this is just ridiculous. If the armor would have made even the slightest of difference i dont think it would …

So I guess it's fair to guess I'm the only one that picked this one up since it came out the same week as MW3, Skyrim, and Saints Row 3? Been having a fun time playing Peace Walker even if the online is a little laggy and it's not super easy to find games. Haven't really tried out 2 and 3 much though, popped in 2 for about 20 minutes to see how the controls were and decided Peace Walker would be the easiest to start with. Too note, this is the first time I've played any MGS games ever.

I found a really great item last night. Definitely the best helmet I've found. It's called the Volsung Mask and I came across it by chance while trying to truck it up north to free some Grey-Mane dude taken from the WhiteRun town. The enemy who had it (some floating magic user thing that attacked me after I absorbed a dragon word of power) absolutely crushed me like 6 times before I finally beat him (and used all my potions!). LoL Anyways, it gives +20% better prices in shops (buy and sell), +20 to your carry weight and permanent water breathing. Looks pretty bad-*** too. What are some of the cooler items you've found?

You folks know CheapyD, right? He's the owner and proprietor of gaming deals site CheapAssGamer, as well as a swell dude and friend of the site. He's also a big fan of the Saints Row series -- so much so, in fact, that he donated a heap of change to the Ashley Ames Foundation last summer in order to become a character in Saints Row: The Third. What began as a bit role (a random pedestrian) turned into a full-on downloadable pack, adding Cheapy to the game as a "homie." Like in Saints Row 2, homies can be called to help out during missions or whenever you may need them. Cheapy says he recorded "approximately 150 lines" for the character, all done from his Tokyo, Japan apar…

Well with Skyrim and other games you all are probably not going to get this one right away. I however picked it up tonight! I just could not resist. I was reading some of the reviews and they were saying it was the most fun they have had in along time. Some of the complaints were funny though. Like the game not looking as good graphics wise as they thought it would or the city not feeling as alive as it could. I got to say everything in first impression of the game seems improved over SR2. To me SR2 had a muddy look to it at times and the color pallet seemed less saturated or something. SR3 seems much better to me. The colors are punched up and the graphics are better. So…

Superb fantasy role-playing game Skyrim sold over 3.5 million units in 48 hours, Bethesda has revealed. Bethesda expects Skyrim launch units to generate over $450 million in global retail sales. By comparison, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 made $400 million in one day, and sold over 6.5 million units in the US and UK alone. Bethesda shipped seven million units of Skyrim for launch. More than 50 per cent of launch units were sold in the first 48 hours, which means Skyrim sold over 3.5 million units in that period. Skyrim set a record for concurrent players on Steam - a whopping 280,000 played in the first 24 hours of release. "We are grateful for the fans' response to Sky…

I was wondering if anyone had this game. I bought it not too long ago, and it's really fun. The only issue is that it's super hard when playing above normal. It would be great if I could get some people together (it goes up to 4-player co-op) to play through this and achievement hunt. Sadly, I also purchased The Warriors: Street Brawl. That game is impossible when playing alone. Talk about freaking hard.

There was an update yesterday for Skyrim and I was wondering if anybody has issues with their game since downloading it. Within 5 minutes of playing after the update, my game immediately froze. Okay, whatever. Loaded it up again, same problem. Okay, load it up again. Got to play for about 20 minutes and then it froze on me. Loaded it up for another try and needless to say it froze again. Anybody else experiencing this? It's downright annoying.

Dan Houser, vice-president of creativity for Rockstar Games, says the company “adores” cult 2006 title Bully and is waiting for the right time to begin developing a sequel. Houser says it's a matter of scheduling, telling Gamasutra that “we will see what we can do with Bully” after Bully developer Rockstar Vancouver has finished work on Max Payne 3. “We didn't want to start doing the Bully sequel instantly,” explains Houser. “Contrary to a lot of people, we like to take a little bit of time at the end of a game before starting a sequel.” However, he says Bully and its next-gen reissue, the Scholarship Edition, were a property that “we adore and might come back to in the f…
