Shatter on Steam - $2.50

http://store.steampowered.com/app/20820/

Very useful if you want to complete one of the Steam Treasure Hunt challenges, which is "It's Better to Give" (Send a gift to a friend).

Assassin bought this for me today and it's pretty damn awesome. Very addicting. It's like Arkanoid on steroids.

Metro 2033 is $10 on Steam right now.

Is it worth it? I want to know if it has any RPG elements like Fallout, or if it's just a shooter. I hear that it's a good benchmark test if you max out the graphics on it, so I could test out my new system with it.

I've played a little of it, and it has very small amounts of rpg elements. Like finding money and buying weapons, ammo, etc. But it's first and foremost a survival shooter.

A very, VERY linear survival shooter. :(

I was a disappointed Panda with Metro 2033. On top of it all, the game practically shills throughout the game for the novels. EVERYWHERE you go, it seems like every single person in existence has 47 copies of the effing book, and posters for it everywhere. LOL

Not exactly a deal, but it's finally back in stock. If you've shopped for one lately, you've mostly seen third party vendors, selling at ridiculous markups.

Oh how I love and hate you steam. BTW, Oddbox is sweet. Munch and Strangers Wrath on PC!

The Square pack sounds awesome TBH, plus it includes a couple MMOs (Like Conan and FFXI) which themselves each would give you at least a month to try out the game for giggles. Plus all the Just Cause 2 stuff is great. So much awesomeness.

I so wish I had more money at the moment since I now have a beast computer. At the very least if I get some Christmas money, I want to get that Bethesda pack. It's the same price as the pack that only has the Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout 3 GotYs, but comes with more games, including New Vegas. This would also mean that my still as of yet unplayed Xbox 360 Fallout New Vegas could very likely go into the annual giveaway, regardless of the fact that I have two preorder DLCs already redeemed for it (they're just starter kits anyways).

More great deals on Steam today. Including the Withcher Enhanced Director's Cut for 5 bucks!

I can't recommend that game enough. Much better to use if you have a controller for your PC, but it's an EXCELLENT action RPG. Plus, the main character practically sleeps with every woman in the game. LoL

Agreed. I just purchased it again. Though I have yet to finish it. I made it a good ways into it on PC before they released all the fixes and enhanced version. I decided to start over and haven't made it around to it yet. I plan to before The Witcher 2 releases.

Spore Complete Pack (includes Creepy and Cute Parts Pack, and Galactic Adventures expansion) on Steam for $20.

I'm totally getting this and the Bethesda Mega Pack.

I also am thinking of getting the Crysis pack ($30) and possibly the Rockstar Mega Pack ($40), but it doesn't seem worth it since I already got the GTA pack, I just want IV and it's expansions. I'll just wait and see if Crysis and GTA IV go on sale individually in the daily deals before the sale ends on January 2nd.

EDIT: Done. Now just waiting on a deal on Crysis and GTA IV. :) I less than three Stream.
