I re-posted this back on the ATC, but I feel it needs to be read again. http://bunnyears.net/dan/?p=1057 Seriously, ellipsis' are rude and very much annoying, when not used appropriately. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ellipsis It's intended for a slight pause in speech. It's even fine for chat or IM's, when you want to indicate you're about to continue your discussion with another big block of text. It's not something you end each sentence with, or to leave as an insult. If you're annoyed with someone or something, say what it is. One period is the perfect number to end your sentence with. I put this in General Discussion, because I take this seriously. If you do, too, ple…

It's huge. I'm exhautsed. Been working on this now for weeks. Place was a wreck when we first got here (not really a WRECK, but needed new blinds and definite steam cleaning of rugs and mopping, new bathroom stuff, etc), but it's all good so far. Everything is boxes. It's crazy, but it will work out. I had to hook up the PC to see what the speeds were and also hook up the 360 to keep my gaming streak going. (1097 days STRAIGHT. Damn, this was a feat to kep it going considering the move. LoL!) But yeah. It's going to be a lot of unboxing for awhile. Now I need to unhook the pc and move some stuff back so it's out of the way. On a side note, my download speed tripl…

Red Dead Redemption Developed by: Rockstar San Diego, Rockstar North Published by: Rockstar Games Players: 1 offline, 2-16 player online multiplayer Rated M (Mature) by the ESRB The Breakdown Rockstar is known for making massive, open, driving and shooting games. But what happens when they turn back the clock and make a game set in the early 1900s, when the West was still untamed, and the automobile had barely been invented? Was this bold move a good idea, or should Rockstar stick to making games set in the modern era? Find out in the rest of this review. View the full review

It’s standard practice these days for every major release to have store exclusive bonus content to lure you into preordering the game from that particular vendor. Fallout New Vegas is no different, with 4 different offerings to choose from. View the full article

The lovely and extremely wonderful bs angel (follow her on the Twitters!), has given us another Noble Six avatar helmet code. To win this one, you’ll need to use some MSPaint skills. Nothing too hard. Just put a Halo character into a ballet tutu. That’s it! Since I’ll be using a random number generator, you can even just post two images. One of a character, and another of a tutu. Just add in a plus (+) sign or something. Appropriate tutu Doing it wrong Contest ends Wednesday night. Post your entries into the contest thread, on our forums, here. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2010-09-23-rumour-project-milo-cancelled No surprise here since it's been rumored for a while now.. but it's clear that this entire project was vaporware from the get-go. Kind of sucks since I've never played Fable before. Was looking forward to an innovative new IP. Instead we get the same old crap.

Trixie360 has announced on her Windows Live Spaces blog that she is leaving behind her title as Community Manager for Xbox Live and moving on to her new responsibility which is Xbox Live for Windows Phone 7. “This is a heartbreaking post for me.When I first came to xbox in 2002, people didn’t talk about ‘Community’ in gaming. Oh, community existed of course, but no one called it that. My first forays into building community began with an interview with a customer. The term “Gamer Spotlight” I pulled out of my *** in a meeting one day. What was the point of it? To give a customer a moment of attention, and to let the nascent community learn more about someone who was also …

Before I announce the winner of the Remember Halo personalized prize pack, I want to say thank you to everyone who participated. We had a great response from the Gamercide community. The winner of the personalized Halo pack was decided by an old fashioned hat drawing of the names of the gamertags that participated. The winner of a personalized custom wireless controller and a personlized framed Halo photo done by myself is……. STEALTHY SHADOWS Congratulations go out to Stealthy and again many thanks to all those that participated in Remembering Halo. View the full article

If most of you are like me, you get a little riled up when it comes to purchasing something and then being told you have to pay AGAIN to "access" certain features that are already there. A great example of this is a lot of DLC currently, where the content is already on the disc you've purchased and you have to pay extra money to "unlock" the ability to play it. It drives me BONKERS. This however, is another example of what's going on, and it's extremely shady. Found at Best Buy, these $50 Intel "Upgrade" cards make your processor run faster. How? By enabling the 1MB of L3 cache and HyperThread support THAT ALREADY EXIST ON THE CHIP!!!!! http://translate.google.com/tra…

Time for another article. Obviously you can tell from the title what it is about. With Halo Reach releasing on Sept. 14 I am going to look back at the series and all things Halo. For your comments, I am looking for memories...hence "Remember Halo". It could be something stupid that happened during the campaign or something hilarious that occured during the multiplayer. You can even include your first memories of playing Halo...whatever just nothing negative, because I'm not looking for "this game sucks" or "Master Chief can go suck a peen". (Bogey, feel free to explain your first orgasm that Master Chief gave you ) *Edit....I decided to send this to Bungie and 343 when…
