September 25, 201016 yr comment_19932 Does it work similar to lockerz? Where there are only certain redemption days and you have to fight to get prizes?edit: nvm it requires you to use ie, ewww Report
September 25, 201016 yr comment_19934 I use erewards.com which gives you credit for surveys and have successfully redeemed one $25 Gamestop gift card from it.How does it work? Do you just build up the points and use the credits to get what you want from a list, i.e. not an auction? If it works and doesn't take too much effort I'd check it out, I'm always getting stuff on the XBL marketplace and a few extra points would help. Report
September 25, 201016 yr Author comment_19937 You need IE to download it, but you can use it in firefox(it's worked for me)The way you get points is, every day you get 1 point after using the search engine 5 times(max ten points per day), then there are a couple links they have up that you just click on and get 3 points, dunno how often those are updated. When I went to redeem the points, just kinda picked the MS points and bam, done, though I'm still waiting on the email. Report
September 25, 201016 yr comment_19938 Hmm seems pretty slow, but I guess you could get around 100 points every 10 days. My $25 GS card is redeemable once every three months, and it takes a while to get the $50 credit you need if you aren't able to fully complete enough surveys.Because of MS's new pricing scheme, if you plan on getting XBLA games, the redeemed points would only useful after around 40 days, when you get a full 400 points, since they are usually in multiples of 400 and you can no longer buy weird numbers like 500 or 1000. September 26, 201016 yr comment_19994 i tried it, it started screwing with my Live autolog-in with Firefox. Xbox.com would ask for my pw every time I visited. Not worth the hassle.. but a nice concept. Maybe if they didn't force IE on folks it would be better. Report
