No surprise here since it's been rumored for a while now.. but it's clear that this entire project was vaporware from the get-go. Kind of sucks since I've never played Fable before. Was looking forward to an innovative new IP. Instead we get the same old crap.

File this under "Video games are evil gateways to abnormal behavior". You see, Microsoft is worried about what terrible press they'll get from advocacy groups and cable media. A sexual deviant could buy Milo and MS would be facilitating their bad behavior with their console and game. That same person could still buy any number of FPS games, though. \o/

It's too bad. I thought the project was very interesting.

Yup. It's true, though. They would get ridiculous amounts of negative press and jokes about it. Still, the technology behind it, should have outweighed all that.

The branding of "Wii" was definite fodder for jokes. Nintendo didn't cave, though. Look at the Wii, now. No one jokes about it and it's #1 in sales in the console market.
