Today’s Fail of the Day is being brought to you by previous Fail of the Week winner, Fox News. Every now and then Fox News decides to take step out of the daily national and worldwide news and try something different, like writing about video games that are considered “controversial”. Take Bulletstorm for example. Fox News claimed that playing Bulletstorm will make you rape women and that the “possibly worst video game ever” is a bad influence on today’s youthful fragile minds. What could be more fail-tacular than their ground breaking study on Bulletstorm? According Fox News, Duke Nukem is taking “sexism” to a whole new level in Duke Nukem Forever and that we should…

What next? We going to go through all my phone contacts and text messages before I go to an event? This crap is already way out of hand...

Developed by: Straandlooper, Telltale Games Published by: Telltale Games Platforms: PC, Mac, iPhone Players: 1 Rated M for Mature by the ESRB Clapper’s Wreake. The town that took the “Great” out of Britain. When a terrorist holes himself up in a building with hostages there and no one seems to be able to reason with him, it’s time to call in Hector, the so-called Fat Arse of the Law. Hector: Badge of Carnage is a crude, point and click adventure where you play as Hector, an overweight cop with a sarcastic attitude. Not to say that he’s a bad guy, he’s a good cop overall, he just lacks hygiene. And pants (initially). Hector isn’t overly thrilled about being calle…

While many websites who reported about this little gem of a quote from Treyarch’s Community Manager, Josh Olin, raved and agreed with him, there will be no brown stained lip action here. In fact I find the following quote down right sad. In an interview with NowGamer, Olin talks about Black Ops and the new map pack that released on February 1, First Strike. At the end of interview that was going rather well, NowGamer asks, “What, in your mind, is the biggest problem facing the games industry today, and if you had the power, how would you fix it?” Olin’s response, “Personally, as a community manager who lives in the media or social media world every day, I think the soc…

One of Dead Rising 2′s new features is the ability to create and customize new weapons. A meta website, Tape It or Die, has been created to help residents of Fortune City survive the zombie plague that started five years ago by making them aware of the various methods of weapon creation, providing blogs and pictures in hopes of creating the “ultimate weapon.” What they may have provided, though, is perhaps the “ultimate spoiler”. For those of you who haven’t survived the outbreak of Willamette, Colorado, be warned, there be spoilers ahead. So “Johnny Pipes”, one of the bloggers and founders, blogs about a recent outing yesterday where he took some photos of new hero Chu…

I downloaded Marathon a few months ago and loved it. So the achievements are odd numbers and totally have made my gamerscore funky. Unfortunately I can't play Marathon anymore and get the rest of the achievements, because it causes me to get motion sickness. Does anybody know of a game that has a random 4 point achievement or something like that so that I can get my gamerscore back to normal. It's irritating the fudge out of me!

Developed by: Arrowhead Game Studios Published by: Paradox Interactive Platforms: PC Players: 1-4 Rated T (Teen) by the ESRB What happens when you combine the style and humor of Castle Crashers with gameplay reminiscent of Diablo? Magic happens. Or rather Magicka happens, to be more precise. That’s not to say that Magicka is very much like either of those games, rather it has a very distinct style of its own. But like Castle Crashers it is a stylish, humorous, and fun experience that can be played and enjoyed with friends, and like Diablo the game has very smooth, isometric gameplay where you can run around slaughtering hordes of monsters and fiends to your hearts …

So is this the test run of Gamestops used game program? Seems a bit excessive, I would not be trading in games if they wanted to finger print me. http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2014/08/01/new-philadelphia-gamestop-policy-requires-customer-fingerprints-when-trading-in-games/ and I know they wont go to this just interesting what some stores will do.

So, I always get a lot of questions about computer upgrades and computer builds. I often refer to this for my own suggestions. Anyone looking to upgrade or build should certainly refer to this guide. It lists builds from ~$600 all the way to ~$5000 and explains why it chose the products it did. Usually linking to reviews of the products. It's a great place to start researching a new build. http://www.techspot.com/guides/buying/

More and more info has been leaking out about the next Xbox, codenamed Durango, and all signs are pointing to the rumors being true regarding always online connectivity, mandatory Kinect usage, and the fight against used video games. Previously it's been reported that MS and Sony were looking into ways to disrupt the used game market. There was a lot of uproar over this. Check this out from the Durango Hardware Overview: "Every Durango console will have a hard drive, although its exact capacity has not been chosen. It will be large enough, however, to hold a large number of games. All games will be installed on the hard drive. Play from the optical disc will no…

This disgusts me to no end. The father had absolutely nothing to do with the crime that was reported. The police were called for domestic abuse because the mother slapped the daughter. The only thing the father did, was run to his wife in an attempt to calm her down as she ran to the family car after slapping her daughter. Here's what happened according to the mother and daughter of the victim. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCNZByBU2-0 Read about it here http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/26/justice/oklahoma-arrest-death-video/ This shit needs to seriously end. Post haste.

Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition Developed by: ACE Team Published by: Atlus Players: 1 offline, 2 player online co-op Rated T (Teen) by the ESRB In an age where there is a clear division between first person shooters and brawlers, Zeno Clash blurs the line in one of the strangest and most unique games that has come out in a long time. The setting and characters are some of the strangest you’ll see in a video game. But is it too strange? Is the game a brilliant combination of disparate elements, or just a patchwork of failure? This Is Topiary, LulzSec Mastermind Topiary's been unmasked. 18-year-old Jake Davis, the alleged hacker chief behind LulzSec's many prominent internet assaults had his first day before a judge. And if the court's claims are true, the kid's pretty screwed. Neo shades notwithstanding, the police have some pretty damaging evidence against the teen, TNW reports: a purported cache of 750,000 personal information files and a draft of the fake Murdoch obit on his laptop. That's a lot of smoking guns. Read the rest at, Gizmodo. When asked why the judge handed Topiary an extra 10 years on top of his original sentence, he wryly replied "Derp. For the lulz" I made that up, but it'd …
