  2. Microsoft has managed to secure another ”first” in the battle of the console peeing contest. Just announced at E3, Xbox 360 users will receive the downloadable content before the other guys for the out next year reboot, Tomb Raider. Seems kind of silly announcing DLC before the game releases, but I guess that “my stream last longers than yours” is the real battle here. Tweet This Post Post to Facebook View the full article

  5. You be the judge Crystal Dynamics recently revealed that along with the rips, tears, and bruises of a much younger and inexperienced Lara Croft in their upcoming reboot Tomb Raider, Ms. Croft will also face an attempted rape. This statement was later clarified by Crystal Dynamics where they claimed their words were twisted by online gaming website Kotaku during the interview that has seemed to outrage fans of the series and the gaming population in general. So what’s the big deal? Why can’t a video game explore a more mature and vulnerable storyline involving a female that is usually strong and very dependent? Movies, novels, etc…seem to be able to get away with telli…

  11. Fans who have anxiously been waiting on a remake of Square Enix’s 1997 Final Fantasy VII are going to be waiting tad bit longer. Speaking to Famitsu, Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura told the Japanese magazine that a FFVII remake is not a priority at this time. “There are a lot of people who want a remake of Final Fantasy VII. However, new titles take precedence. We work our hardest to make something that might be even better than Final Fantasy VII. The new Final Fantasy must overcome the Final Fantasy of the past.” While Square is focusing on their current release, FFXIII-2 with followup DLC and a possible rumored FFXIII-3, they are also working on Final Fantasy X HD re…

  12. Matt Firor, Game Director of the Elder Scrolls Online has told Game Informer that the Elder Scroll’s newly announced MMO main story will be single player only. Their reasoning behind the decision is to have your individual character feel like the only hero in the game and also to avoid the awkardness that is seeing other gamers waiting to beat the boss you are currently fighting. Not sure how fans will react to that considering that they have been beating down Bethesda’s door for years requesting an Elder Scrolls MMO that can play with their fellow gamers including co-op main story play. via Game Informer (Video Interview) Tweet This Post Post to Facebook View the…

  13. Be sure to get your hands on the July issue of OXM. They are releasing some hot details thanks to 343 Industries on Halo 4 including an explanation of the “two” single player campaigns that mesh into not only co-op with your friends but also Master Chief’s story. 343 Industries explains the Infinity in Halo 4 as a way for your own “persistent Spartan IV” who is on board the UNSC Infinity to feed into the main storyline spawning a “second campaign”. How are they doing this you ask? After Halo 4 releases, 343 will be releasing four short CGI mini-episodes each week starring the four new Spartan IV’s. Your Spartan IV’s story can be played with your co-op friends online an…

  17. Team Ghost, would you like me to lay a smack down on your candy ***** or in this case silicone giant fake ***? In what has to be the one of the worst ad campaigns ever in the history of Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon series or no I take that back, video game history, Team Ghost decided to get Ice-T’s wife Coco and her huge *** in on the ad. That’s right I said, her huge giant ***. If you are an *** man, then dim the lights, get a tissue and some jergens because you are going to appreciate this video. However if you are more like me and are shaking your head right now at Ubisoft for thinking so little of us gamers then run along now, there is nothing to see. Who am I kidding,…

  18. Diablo 3 or “D3″ as many fans are dubbing it is getting ready to launch tomorrow May 15th to an antsy PC crowd. Meanwhile gamers on the console end have been waiting on word on whether on not Diablo 3 will see the light of day after Diablo makers Blizzard had posted job openings that appeared to make it seem like they wanted to test the waters with Diablo heading over the PS3 and or Xbox 360. Well anxious console gamers I hate to burst your bubble, but that was not entirely true and Blizzard has the perfect explanation. In an interview with Gamasutra, Blizzard’s Jay Wilson said that they were kind of lying in order to gain more employees, but they still remain unsure a…

  19. It’s not very often that any of the writers here at Gamercide post about anything but gaming news. It’s also not everyday that we’re all this excited about something or someone. In this case, it’s Dillon Hodges. Musician, singer, and songwriter. I’ve wracked my brain trying to remember where I first came across “ “. I’m sure it was on his website, but I don’t recall what led me there. If it was social media, I’m glad. We’ve shared a few lines of text with each other, and his beautiful fiancé even thanked me for helping spread the word. He’s a gracious man, and from wh…

  23. Creators of the upcoming Kinect only spin on the Fable series, Fable: The Journey, are saying that fans are being unfair and that they really need to just give it a chance. Former Microsoft employee and Fable Designer Peter Molyneux said in a recent press conference that he wants gamers to know that they will not be “leaping” through the air. “From the blogs and the posts that I’ve seen, there’s a lot of skepticism out there. People think that they’re going to be leaping around the room or they’re going to have to shout at the top of their voice and feel embarrassed. We don’t want that – we want you to feel relaxed.” Molyneux isn’t the only one that was on the Fable te…
