<p>
	Loss, sadness, fear, darkness, beauty, strength. These words are just a few that can describe the journey that Senua goes through in her 6 to 8 hour journey to Helheim in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. A Celtic warrior returning from a Viking raid, to find her love sacrificed to the Norse Gods, she embarks on a journey to save his soul from Hela (The Norse goddess of death). From the outset we begin to learn just how broken our protagonist is both physically, but most of all mentally.
</p>

<p>
	As we begin the journey, you hear them...the whispers in Senua's head. At first you feel they are just coming from around you. Hidden faces within the landscape perhaps? The multiple voices you are hearing are all somewhat familiar, almost the same, yet different. They start creeping in from all around you. You hear them in your left ear, then your right. In front of you, then behind you. All eerily similar. It's not long until you finally realize they are only getting louder and louder. Soon it becomes impossible to tell how many actual voices you are hearing. Then the realization hits you, they all belong to Senua and they are all in her head. This is how Hellblade shows its best feature. Through its sound design the game gives you a sense of what it's like to have unrelenting voices in your head. They warn you of dangers around you, shouting in a panic, "BEHIND YOU!" when enemies are about to attack. They will also give you some directions on where they think you should go or not go. This isn't to say they are always helpful. They also let creep in a real sense of self-doubt and unrelenting questioning of yours and Senua's choices to keep down the stories path. Bottom line, wear headphones when playing this one. The way Ninja Theory implemented the ambient sound design makes everything work so well. If you struggle with or have struggled with any type of mental illness or personality disorder, you may get a little uncomfortable as the voices may seem all too real at times. You're never truly alone. There's always a voice inside your head that will help and/or hinder you on your journey.
</p>

	<img alt="Pck8Mfk.jpg" class="ipsImage" height="356" src="https://i.imgur.com/Pck8Mfk.jpg" width="633" loading="lazy"></p>

<p>
	Graphically the game is one of the best games to look at I've seen in a long time. The facial animations are top notch. I haven't seen anything look this good from a smaller game. The full-motion video and motion capture utilized in the game evokes almost film quality characters. Melina Juergens does almost Andy Serkis levels of work here and it's really impressive, again, for a smaller game. Not only the character animations are great, the levels are on a whole other level as well. They run the gamut from the dark recesses of ancient caverns that you will struggle to see your way through, but they will eventually open up in to sunny rock covered beaches. Throughout the game there are filters applied to the world that amplify the sense of mental illness as well. You're never quite sure if what you're seeing is real or all in Senua's head. There's no mini-map or HUD at all. No objective markers or arrows to guide your way. There are sometimes audible clues that you can use Senua's "focus" ability to hear that will guide you, but not always. This can become frustrating as you can get lost and have to backtrack through levels. However, those clues are not always truthful and it plays in to the mental side of the game even more. That just makes things even more uncomfortable as you're making your way further down the path of madness.
</p>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	<img alt="uumnNet.jpg" class="ipsImage" height="355" src="https://i.imgur.com/uumnNet.jpg" width="633" loading="lazy"></p>

<p>
	Combat is fairly sparse, but great when it does come around. Throwing waves of enemies at me to frustrate me and drive home the sense of unrelenting madness. There are a basic set of moves (light attack, heavy attack, parry, dodge, and charge) that do give you enough variation to make it fun. There is no life bar or anything to let you know how hurt Senua is, however as she gets hurt, she becomes less responsive and her attacks slow down. Combat as a whole is not really the main element in the game. Even with that, when it does come around Ninja Theory throws another wrench at you to make you feel dread...the perma-death system. Early on, you are told if the rot reaches Senua's head, its game over. And by game over they mean your save data is erased and you start your journey over again. This made me question my skills in combat and I got even more panicked. There were a few overwhelming sections towards the end of the game that had me yelling at the screen. As you try and fight through, there is the nagging dread of losing hours of gameplay. Having to start over. It's always there, a silent voice mixed in with all the others. This does a great job at playing in to the story and playing with your mind.

<p>
	Story is where Hellblade cements itself as one of the most surprising games to come out in a while. Everything is based in Norse mythology. Senua has been told all her life by her father that she has a darkness inside her that causes everyone around her pain and suffering. She finds love with Dillion through it all but is forced to set out on her quest to Helheim to save Dillion from Hela. He was sacrificed by the Northmen after they attacked her village. She reasoned through the numerous stories she was told, that she could take Dillion's head to Helheim and win his soul back. Along the way there are lore stones to find and a few light puzzles to work through to drive the narrative along. I love Norse mythology as a whole, so this one really grabbed my interest and held on throughout the game. I loved finding more and more lore stones to get more background and insight in to the world as a whole.

<p>
	Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice really shows what care and attention can bring to a game. Ninja Theory spent time with real mental health professionals to ensure their story would strike the right chords and be as accurate as it can from that standpoint. The atmosphere and stellar sound design both play a huge part in my enjoyment. Also, the game is graphically impressive beyond most games, standing toe-to-toe with some AAA titles that are just releasing. The combat is both fun and engaging, with a real sense of panic setting in once you realize you could lose your game save (Well, sort of, but I don't want to ruin anything). Overall I think Hellblade is something everyone should give a play through. It's not overly long and some may even say it's too short, but I'm glad to have played the game and helped this young woman along on her amazing journey.

	<span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'Courier New';">When I first got the email offering to review a Hatsune Miku game, I had to go out and see what Hatsune Miku games were.<span>  </span>Looking at screenshots, I realized they were generally Dance Dance Revolution or Beatmania style games. So, I decided to give it a go. Now, I didn't watch videos or do much research in to what I was getting myself in to...That said I wasn't prepared. I wasn't prepared at all.<span>  </span>Let's get in to this thing and see what I signed up for in my time with Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone.</span>

<p style="margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:normal;">
	<span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'Courier New';">Graphically this game has a TON going on and this can be extremely distracting when you're trying to actually play the game. As you play you will try to only focus on the button presses coming down the screen; however this becomes difficult when there's a dance video with tons of effects going on in the background. All the characters are well animated and the music videos are a treat to watch if you aren't trying to play or do well in the game. This is actually a problem I have with almost every rhythm game on the market. Be it Guitar Hero or Dance Dance Revolution. There is also a lot of customization for Hatsune and her friends. You can give them backpacks, decorations for their hair, new clothes, creepy masks, and a ton of stuff I have no real clue what the hell it actually is. This is probably my lack of knowledge of the Hatsune Miku phenomenon. What I do know is there is a Space Channel 5 outfit that I purchased straight away because I adore that game. Weird, I know.</span>

<p style="margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:normal;">
	<span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'Courier New';">J-Pop songs really aren't something I dig. I'm more of a fan of Rock Band's brand of music. However, there are some pretty catch ear worms in the game that I found myself playing multiple times and on various difficulties. With a total of 224 songs across a couple of different downloadable options, there's bound to be something for almost everyone. The difficulty is the biggest complaint I have. I like to think I'm pretty good at rhythm games. I generally play Rock Band on expert and hit 95% or above, but here I struggle with easy and medium difficulties. This may be a result of me not being a fan of the music or it could just be the game is made for a more dedicated fan base. Whatever the case, it discourages me from playing for very long.</span>

	<span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'Courier New';">Overall, this game really isn't for me but I'm glad I decided to give it a try. It was something very different for me to undertake and challenged my review skills quite a bit. The graphics are good, if not somewhat distracting. The difficulty is my major downfall here. Again, it could be I'm not as good at rhythm games as I thought or it could be my lack of real interest in the songs. After playing, I decided to research what this phenomenon is and now I realize that Hatsune Miku and Co. have a HUGE following and tons of people are looking forward to this release. There are also sold out concerts where a hologram entertains sold out crowds with the backing of a live band. Let me know if you guys have any interest or experiences with the Hatsune Miku franchise. I really am interested to know what you think.</span>

<p>
	Blue Isle Entertainment is most well known for Slender: The Arrival.  Being fans of being scared by games, I'm sure you know their work.  It was a good update and expansion of Mark Hadley's original game.  However we aren't here to discuss that one.  Maybe another time if you'd like.  No, today we're here to discuss (As you can see from the title) Blue Isle's new game Valley.  This one may have flown under the radar of many people, however I can say it shouldn't.  I went in blindly with this one and came out the other side very impressed by what I played, how it looked, and even the super tight controls.  With all that said, let's do this.
</p>

<div class="ipsEmbeddedOther">
	<iframe data-controller="core.front.core.autosizeiframe" scrolling="no" src="https://gamercide.com/index.php?app=core&amp;module=system&amp;controller=embed&amp;url=http://imgur.com/wOdLDmQ" style="height:417px;" loading="lazy"></iframe>
</div>

<p>
	Going in with no preconceived notions of what the game was/is, I just jumped right it.  The story starts off pretty good.  You're a guy going in search of a mystical "life seed".  A mystical power that has the potential to destroy the planet.  You then stumble upon a research facility.  You find out the government (because of course) knew of the life seed already and have been trying to harness it's power for military gain (again, of course).  Yeah, it sounds pretty silly and standard, which it really is, but once you get in to it, the story takes shape and eventually gets quite intriguing.  There's also a level of mysticism introduced that just ties it all together and makes it work.  The plot points are given to you through audio logs, notes left around the environment, and the internal thoughts of the player.  Things eventually go south, as they do in games, and it's up to the player to fix it all.  I ended up getting in to it and wanted to push through to see where things were going to end.
</p>

<p>
	The games strongest asset is the controls.  You get a military developed L.E.A.F. (Leap Effortlessly Through Air Functionality) Suit.  It takes is power from the titular valley and you have to maintain its power as you use its abilities.  It's a bit of resource management, but there's enough upgrades to make it not be a worry at all (This isn't No Man's Sky).  Once you get the suit, it is where the game takes off and becomes something different.  The suit allows you to run at a faster rate (Even faster when going down hill. PHYSICS!), jump farther, double-jump, use a cable to propel yourself forward, and it also enables combat.  There's more upgrades as well, but I don't want to ruin some of the stuff that you can do, if you decide to play it.  It seems silly how much I gush over this thing, but it really is what sets the game apart and keeps this from being another "walking simulator".  Notice I said "enables combat".  There are actual battles here, which is when you realize this isn't another Dear, Esther or The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (Both were good games, but they just got kind of boring).  The L.E.A.F. Suit gave me one of those "HOLY SHIT!" moments that have been missing recently in games.  It evoked a feeling I haven't had since Spider-Man 2 back on the Original Xbox, when you start controlling and moving your character in a way you didn't expect.  Everything is tight and just feels really good.  I literally gave out a Peter Parker-esque "WOOHOO!" the first time I ran down a hill and jumped from one side of a lake to another.  It really is awesome.

<p>
	For a fairly indie title, this one really surprised me.  I went in thinking it would be just another game where I walk around and read the story text.  I was completely wrong and I'm really glad.  The story was decent and took some twists that I didn't expect and ended up being pretty good.  The real star of the show is the L.E.A.F. Suit.  Once you start upgrading this thing and get going with it, you'll want to just screw around in the world.  Running, jumping, and propel yourself across long distances . . . It really is great.  All in all, the game really shocked me.  I wasn't expecting much going in, but can highly recommend this one.  It's $20 on all 3 platforms.  Maybe a tad pricey, but if you want to have fun and support a smaller developer, I would say go for it.  If not, wait for a sale.  Links below:

</div>

<p>
	No Man's Sky has become one of the most divisive games in recent memory.  There are 3 camps surrounding this game, with a few exceptions here and there.  First up, like me, there are those that enjoy the game immensely (I'll discuss why in a bit).  Secondly, you have the people on the fence.  These are people that will eventually play a little more and fall on one side or the other.  Last, but not least, there are those disappointed and/or hate the game completely.  Now, I'm not looking to change anyone's mind about their thoughts or even help someone in that second group make a decision.  The opinions below are mine and mine alone.  I hope we can start a dialogue about why the game does or does not live up to the hype, whether it's a good game overall, and does it have potential to grow in to something more.
</p>

<p>
	So, I'll start with the obvious question first.  Does one of the most hyped up games in recent memory live up to the hype?  Well, he answer to that one would probably be a resounding, "NO!".  Keep in mind folks, I really do like No Man's Sky a lot.  However, much like a new movie in a beloved franchise, a new album from your favorite band, or the ending to a great book series...The hype train can go so far off he rails that it screws over any chance of an objective reception.  I 100% feel like that's what happened here.  Since Sony showed the game at E3 2014, the fever pitched excitement for the game started growing.  In the months leading to the release a lot of people, Hello Games' Sean Murray included, tried to quell the excitement a bit and have people pull back on their reigns a bit with their expectations.  This was an indie game from a studio with 15 people working on it.  There was absolutely no way every expectation people got in their minds about this one over the 2+ years was going to be reached.  It was an impossible feat for this one to become the 2nd coming, but the game was delivered (albeit later than expected) and it became a phenomenon for good and bad reasons.
</p>

<div class="ipsEmbeddedOther">
	<iframe data-controller="core.front.core.autosizeiframe" scrolling="no" src="https://gamercide.com/index.php?app=core&amp;module=system&amp;controller=embed&amp;url=http://i.imgur.com/yKnrR5V.png" style="height:380px;" loading="lazy"></iframe>
</div>

<p>
	Now that leads us to our second question, is it a good game overall?  The answer here is not so simple.  In my opinion, it's yes and no.  I say "yes: because it's the game I was expecting.  Prior to buying it I went and read all I could about it.  Interviews with the devs, quick looks/early play opinions, etc.  I literally devoured everything I could about the game and I came to the conclusion that it was a "single player survival game in an infinite world".  So, with that in my mind, I knew what I was getting in to when it started and like it or not, Hello Games delivered on that front.  So, now you're saying to yourself, "But Spawn, you also said it isn't a good game....What the hell?!"  Okay, let me explain that part.  I say it's not a good game because it's missing features that were supposed to be there day one.  Features that were touted in that E3 reveal that slowly seemed to be forgotten.  Look, i get that a tiny dev team can't get all their wish list implemented.  It's the nature of the business they are in.  Hell, even other huge developers can't get all their features in, but things like base building, owning freighters, etc are tantamount to an exploration game like this.  Those are just a couple of examples of things that HAVE to be added to the game quickly to make it feel complete.  Multiplayer isn't something I necessarily care about, right now.  I love the feeling of loneliness in this HUGE galaxy, but admit it would be neat to get others in the world with you that you could run across as you explore.  Maybe trade with, dog fight for rare items, and even team up to explore much faster.
</p>

<p>
	That leads us to the final question here, is there potential to grow in to a great game?  Simply put, HELL YES!  Look, the way almost every game works today is this:  Release, Patch, Add New Stuff, Patch Again, Repeat  Is it ideal? Nope.  Is it good?  Sometimes it can be.  No Man's Sky is an ambitious game that a handful of people decided would be cool to make.  They didn't get everything in there they wanted and probably should've delayed it more to get finalized features that were mentioned previously that people were clamoring to have in the game.  Hello Games have already mentioned base building, freighter ownership, and a few other things are coming soon.  They just have to get the game solid first.  Mitigate the crashing issues on PC and PS4, before tackling bigger additions.  Multiplayer isn't a necessity for guys like me but people want it, so I can only assume we'll get some form of it soon.  All you can say for the game is, it's big enough to have almost any addition Hello Games can dream up and are capable of adding in through patches.
</p>

<div class="ipsEmbeddedOther">
	<iframe data-controller="core.front.core.autosizeiframe" scrolling="no" src="https://gamercide.com/index.php?app=core&amp;module=system&amp;controller=embed&amp;url=http://i.imgur.com/QrKlgFq.jpg" style="height:380px;" loading="lazy"></iframe>
</div>

<p>
	At the end of the day, there's no argument that No Man's Sky is one of the biggest releases of the last 5 years.  Is it a good game?  To quote a wise Jedi, "...from a certain point of view."  Did it live up to the hype surrounding it?  Hell now it didn't and furthermore how could it?  The fever pitch was too much for any game to live up to.  Is there potential in the game?  Sure there is.  If it can be dreamed up and patched it, almost anything is possible.  So, what do you guys think?  Have you played it?  Do you like it?  Tell me what you think and I'll see you out in the galaxy...Well, if they ever patch in that multiplayer I will.

<p> Joshua Peters, a popular Runescape livestreamer who is also known as "koopatroopa787" became the latest victim of swatting, which is where the SWAT team responds to what they believe is a potentially hostile situation such as a hostage situation, shooting, or something equally violent based on the call that they receive. Unfortunately, Joshua Peters whose 10 year old little brother was home at the time ended up with 10 rifles pointed at him, which prompted the emotional video from Peters who is visibly shaken and eventually breaks down.</p><p><em class="bbc">"I don't give a shit about what you have against me online. <p> NetherRealm Studios released another Mortal Kombat X trailer showcasing more of what's to come or who is to come on April 15th when this long running franchise hits store shelves.</p><p>Kitana, one of the more popular female characters in the franchise is shown slicing and dicing with her fans in her usual scantily blue clad attire. Perhaps what is more interesting about this announcement is that in the previous Mortal Kombat game, Kortana died along with Kung Lao who is also a returning character.</p><p>As many know in the world of Mortal Kombat, characters that have died and returned is not exactly unusual, however it was previously stated that Mortal Kombat X intends to pickup immediately following the events of 2011's reboot Mortal Kombat which included Sindel's rage that killed Kortana and others.</p><p>With the announcement of Kitana's return this is leading to speculation that any past characters who have been killed off in the world of Mortal Kombat may be returning including Liu Kang who also died in the reboot.</p><p><iframe id="ytplayer" class="EmbeddedVideo" type="text/html" width="640" height="390" src="http://youtube.com/embed/1EROmqidZQc?html5=1&amp;fs=1" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen loading="lazy"></iframe></p><p><span style="font-size: 12px;">via <a href="http://www.denofgeek.us/games/mortal-kombat-x/242719/mortal-kombat-x-kung-lao-and-kitana-reveal-trailer" class="bbc_url" title="External link" rel="external nofollow">Den of Geek</a> </span></p><p><a href="http://www.gamercide.org/posts/news/kitana-makes-debut-in-latest-mortal-kombat-x-trailer-r1136" rel="external nofollow">Click here to view the article</a></p>

<p> Developer: 343 Industries</p><p>Publisher: Microsoft Studios</p><p>Platform: Xbox One</p><p>Release Date: November 11, 2014</p><p>Genre: First Person Shooter</p><p>Players: Single Player and Multiplayer</p><p>The Halo series has defined a generation of gamers by ushering in a new entry into the console war; the Xbox and also kept gamers on their toes with Bungie, followed by 343 Industries' captivating storyline following Spartan 117, "Master Chief" and his A.I. companion Cortana through battles with the covenant, the flood, shutting down the Halo rings, and of course the very poignant ending between the two that happened at the completion of Halo 4. Couple that with what could be described as the first multi-player of it's kind to hit a console and explode with popularity that lasts to this very day, Halo has become one of the most recognized and popular franchises that we as gamers will ever live to see. Does Halo: The Master Chief Collection capture everything that we have seen so far from this defining series?</p><p></p><p class="bbc_center"><span rel="lightbox"><img class="bbc_img" src="http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w300/Hijacks_Ghosts/Gamercide%20Related/13a7dd30-b228-46cf-a262-c2d1999dbb5b_zps07641ea1.jpg" alt="Posted Image" loading="lazy"></span></p><p>Halo: The Master Chief Collection consists of every title that Master Chief has ever been in; Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4. If you are looking to play the <del class="bbc">shitacular </del> awesome Halo 3: ODST and perhaps what is the more better attempt at telling a story without Master Chief; Halo: Reach, then you need to fire up your Xbox 360.</p><p>Each of the titles received some sort of graphical upgrade with the most attention going to Halo 2 due to the release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection being the 10 year anniversary of Halo 2. Never before seen cutscenes were added to Halo 2 that extend the time of the game and you can also swap between the old graphics of Halo 2 and the new upgraded high resolution graphics as you play comparing not only the old graphics, but also the additional cutscenes that were added with the old Halo 2. This "on the fly" graphic swap feature is also available in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition. Both Halo 3 and Halo 4 are already considered to have HD graphics so they did not receive the same treatment as their prior counterparts, however there is a slight difference in comparison to lighting, shadows, and minor details.</p><p></p><p class="bbc_center"><span rel="lightbox"><img class="bbc_img" src="http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w300/Hijacks_Ghosts/6f7fdd77-8720-4e2e-8b0f-bc66084de049_zps261ecdca.jpg" alt="Posted Image" loading="lazy"></span></p><p></p><p class="bbc_left"></p><p class="bbc_center">The missions of each game play the same as their previous releases with one minor change. You no longer have to play through the story in order from start to finish. All of the missions of each of title are available at the start up menu and you can play them in any order on any difficulty and with a co-op partner.</p><p></p><p class="bbc_center"><span rel="lightbox"><img class="bbc_img" src="http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w300/Hijacks_Ghosts/Gamercide%20Related/4da93989-56e7-42f1-b261-cd52ba58a2a9_zpsac751b58.jpg" alt="Posted Image" loading="lazy"></span></p><p></p><p class="bbc_left"></p><p class="bbc_center">Unfortunately where The Master Chief Collection takes a turn for the worse is the bug ridden multi-player. There are so many well publicized issues with the multi-player that have been plaguing Halo: The Master Chief Collection that I do not even know where to begin and could not even complete a review of the multi-player.</p><p>343 Industries and Microsoft boasted that all of the Halo games in this collection would have their multi-player modes brought over which the thought of reliving the days of Halo 2 multi-player nearly brought me to happy tears. However after multiple attempts at matchmaking to relive my glory days only proved to be a disappointment due to horrible matchmaking times and server connection issues, I gave up. The same with the other lobbies for the other multi-player modes. I was either able to join and then the server failed or I just sat in a lobby waiting for a period of time before I just ended matchmaking. To this day, I have not been able to complete a multi-player match.</p><p>As a response to the heat that 343 Industries and Microsoft has felt since the November launch of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, it was announced that those that played from day one through December 19th will be receiving a copy of Halo 3: ODST for free as DLC when it releases onto the Xbox One, an exclusive in game nameplate, an exclusive in game avatar, and one month of Xbox Live gold as a thank-you for sticking it out.</p><p><span rel="lightbox"><img class="bbc_img" src="http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w300/Hijacks_Ghosts/Gamercide%20Related/260b0617-6967-4360-ac7e-81a02ab0c1eb_zps1045df5c.jpg" alt="Posted Image" loading="lazy"></span></p><p></p><p class="bbc_left"></p><p class="bbc_center">If you are looking to relive that nostalgic feeling of the original Xbox days or just looking to replay through the Halo story before Halo 5: Guardians releases, then I'd say this is for you. However, if you are a hardcore online Halo fan who is looking to jump directly into the multi-player of your favorite Halo modes; old and new, then you may want to wait until this game is fixed otherwise you may end up tossing your controller across the room or at the very least wasting $59.99.</p><p><a href="http://www.gamercide.org/posts/reviews/reviewhalo-the-master-chief-collection-r1134" rel="external nofollow">Click here to view the article</a></p>

<p> At beginning of November, Microsoft temporarily (until January 2015) dropped the price of Xbox One consoles by $50 and since then has seen a huge spike in sales. When Sony was asked how they felt about the success of the Xbox One consoles following the price cut, they responded by saying they are still in the "battle".</p><p><em class="bbc">"No, not at all. <p> Microsoft has released an update for the Xbox One's wireless controller for those of you who have purchased the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter. There is a draw back to updating your Xbox One's wireless controller through this download. There are a bunch of steps in order for it to be updated!</p><p>Once you are signed into your Xbox One and on Xbox Live, plug in the Stereo Headset adapter into the bottom of your wireless controller followed by plugging in the other end to the Xbox One. Make sure to also plug in a headset!</p><p>Next you will want to plug the USB cord into both your wireless controller and the Xbox One. According to IGN, the update should begin right away, however if not you will have to select the menu button on the controller and choose Settings. Once Settings has been chosen, select the System menu and choose Controller Update. The update should only take a few minutes depending on your connection speed.</p><p>In case you were curious, the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter will cost you $24.99. <p> Bioware's Mass Effect trilogy may see a release on both the PS4 and Xbox One in the future. Details on a re-mastered release of the Mass Effect trilogy for the PS4 and Xbox One are not set in stone, however Bioware has confirmed that the topic has been discussed.</p><p><em class="bbc">"We have discussed that internally. If we can put solid plans together we'll share. Great to hear you're keen,"</em> posted Bioware's Edmonton and Montreal studios general manager Aaryn Flynn when asked on <a href="https://twitter.com/AarynFlynn" class="bbc_url" title="External link" rel="external nofollow">Twitter</a>if Bioware has considered releasing a next gen version of the Mass Effect trilogy.</p><p>Currently, Bioware is working on another installment to the Mass Effect franchise. In a previous comment posted on <a href="http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/15648266/9" class="bbc_url" title="External link" rel="external nofollow">Bioware's forum by Chris Priestly</a>, it was stated that this will not be Mass Effect 4 as they are done telling Commander Shepherd's story.</p><p><em class="bbc">"To call the next game Mass Effect 4 or ME4 is doing it a disservice and seems to cause a lot of confusion here. We have already said that the Commander Shepard trilogy is over and that the next game will not feature him/her. That is the only detail you have on the game. I see people saying 'well, they'll have to pick a canon ending'. No, because the game does not have to come after. Or before. Or off to the side. Or with characters you know. Or yaddayaddayadda. Wherever, whenever, whoever, etc will all be revealed years down the road when we actually start talking about it.</em></p><p><em class="bbc">"I do not call the game ME4 when I talk about it ever, because [sic] that makes people think of it more as 'what happens after Mass Effect 3' rather than 'what game happens next set in the Mass Effect Universe', which is far more accurate at this point. Obviously fans are going to speculate content, character and story until we actually reveal details in the years or months to come as you have almost no actual details, just don't get bogged down in 'well how are they going to continue ME3...'."</em></p><p><span style="font-size: 10px;">via <a href="http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/03/03/mass-effect-trilogy-may-be-remastered-for-ps4-and-xbox-one" class="bbc_url" title="External link" rel="external nofollow">IGN</a> and <a href="http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-02-07-bioware-calling-the-next-game-mass-effect-4-is-a-disservice" class="bbc_url" title="External link" rel="external nofollow">Eurogamer</a></span></p><p><a href="http://www.gamercide.org/posts/news/mass-effect-trilogy-is-a-possibility-for-ps4-and-xbox-one-r1119" rel="external nofollow">Click here to view the article</a></p>
