May 21, 201214 yr comment_58727 Matt Firor, Game Director of the Elder Scrolls Online has told Game Informer that the Elder Scroll’s newly announced MMO main story will be single player only. Their reasoning behind the decision is to have your individual character feel like the only hero in the game and also to avoid the awkardness that is seeing other gamers waiting to beat the boss you are currently fighting. Not sure how fans will react to that considering that they have been beating down Bethesda’s door for years requesting an Elder Scrolls MMO that can play with their fellow gamers including co-op main story play.via Game Informer (Video Interview) Tweet This Post Post to FacebookView the full article Report
May 21, 201214 yr comment_58729 Guess this depends on how long the main story is. Though this will make the main story like a dumbed down version of the Elder Scrolls. Worse fighting mechanics and no coop. Report
May 21, 201214 yr comment_58733 Who the heck is this game for? It just seems like a checklist of standard MMO features, with an elder scrolls overlay with very little of what makes the series good. Report
May 21, 201214 yr comment_58734 ^ What Pan said.I want to be able to co-op the main story. I want a full blown MMO mixed with what makes the Elder Scrolls series standout. I've been wanting a game like this for years from them, they better not F it up. Report
May 21, 201214 yr comment_58752 Some things can be fixed over time, but with so many other MMO options out there the only thin that have going for them is ES fans who have always wanted to play with a friend. If they don't blow us out of the water on release then this is likely to tank. Report
