Vectordream is now on Steam. Hey that rhymes haha! Well I am finally on Steam. I am a web designer and graphic artist so I run all macs at my place. Have for many years but I used to have a really good PC around just for gaming but it got old and I just never invested into another one. Maybe sometime soon. The Xbox 360 has been filling in for me pretty good though since I gave up WoW quite awhile back. Anyways, I am on Steam now so if you ever want to play just hit me up. Like I said I run a mac but unfortunately that means I have a limited selection of good games to choose from. I have Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Torchlight, and Trine. I think the Left 4 Dead games are the only…

Can you troll me now? The ctOS Mobile app for Watch Dogs, Ubisoft's upcoming open world game, will allow you to challenge your friends and try to grief them into failure for free, according to a recent post by communications associate Anne Lewis on Ubisoft's blog. She began her time with the connected app by locating her friend on the app's map of Chicago and then challenging him with a tap on the screen. Once he accepted the challenge, it was his job to hit four checkpoints within a limited time period. Her job was to stop him by changing the game world from within the app. "By dragging the helicopter on the screen to hover over the console player's marker (which…

http://rjlayton.com/pond/ Everyone has to play this. Take your time and play through. It's a great relaxing game. There are possible spoilers so don't look it up, and probably best not to read below the first post until you beat it. It's very short. 5 minutes or so, but great!

If you don't have this game then fucking get it. It's amazing. Updates are constantly coming out, the game doesn't require much to run and it's very addictive. Me and a couple other guys have built a small town for new people, I have fought zombie hoards, and bears and wolfs and other players. The game is intense. I've been in my house at night crafting items and have had a squad come up on my house and you can hear their steps, and it scares the shit out of you. There are a few bugs, but they are constantly fixing them. losing your loot might sound terrible to some people but really being raided and killed isn't that big of a deal. It's not like Dayz where it took you ho…

"When we initially designed and implemented the auction houses, the driving goal was to provide a convenient and secure system for trades. But as we've mentioned on different occasions, it became increasingly clear that despite the benefits of the AH system and the fact that many players around the world use it, it ultimately undermines Diablo's core game play: kill monsters to get cool loot. With that in mind, we want to let everyone know that we've decided to remove the gold and real-money auction house system from Diablo III." http://us.battle.net.../blog/10974978/ Click here to view the article

http://store.steampowered.com/app/203810/ Dear Esther is a ghost story, told using first-person gaming technologies. Rather than traditional game-play the focus here is on exploration, uncovering the mystery of the island, of who you are and why you are here. Fragments of story are randomly uncovered when exploring the various locations of the island, making every each journey a unique experience. Dear Esther features a stunning, specially commissioned soundtrack from Jessica Curry. Forget the normal rules of play; if nothing seems real here, it’s because it may just be all a delusion. What is the significance of the aerial – What happened on the motorway – is the island…

Many of us have GTA V and I think it's time to see how many GC members we can squeeze into a lobby. Let's do it up like we used to for GTA IV. We can start early so east coasters and members in other countries can play. If you'd like to join up for the game, please leave your R* social name in this thread. We have a Gamercide crew, too, so search and apply for it if you'd like. I'm on most nights, so I can approve them as they come through. My Social: PeeKnuckle Hope to see as many of you as possible.

APB: How To Blow $100,000,000 "Just walk away, venture capitalists. All you have to do is just walk away." "If you ever wanted the answer to the question “how to spend $100m on an MMO” (are you listening, Bioware?), the UK is the place to be this week, or at least to review the damage. Three sources from Britain analyze what is, if not a neutron bomb, at least a very explody one, with game industry recruiters already combing the wreckage for cheap ‘acquisitions’ of talent." So, I like RPGs. I like JRPGs and I like WRPGs. What I don't like is that both of them have fallen into a rut and would rather adhere to tradition than innovate in their respective genres. The answer isn't to try to bring back oldschool games, because they went out of fashion for a reason. Because big companies aren't pushing forward with making innovative RPGs, I decided I would make one myself. You can see the Kickstarter here. Rather than trying to look to the past, we decided to start from scratch and throw out everything that has been done to death and makes RPGs repetitive - random encounters, grinding, silent protagonists, mystical princesses, ancient evils, etc. I…

Don't know if I like the automated process of these mods or not. I guess time will tell. I just worry about conflicting mods, and having to unsubscribe, instead of ticking off a mod in the pre-launcher. Other than that, it looks totally kick ass.
