Way to protect server ddos?

Featured Replies

Hi. I was wondering if there is a way to protect your ip for hosting a Conan server? Im hosting my Conan server on a separate computer and was wondering if i can get ddosed? any is there a way to prevent that?

Blizzard and other game companies spend vast amounts of cash for DDoS protection and they can still get overwhelmed and have servers go down.

Your best bet would probably be to keep the server between you and close friends if you're worried. If someone wants to ruin your day, they'll find a way. However, even the worst script kiddie gets bored of DDoS'ing a server and moves on. Just don't give them any attention and emote that it doesn't phase you (especially if you're a streamer). All they want is some grim satisfaction that they got under someone's skin.
