  2. Over half of all boxed Portal 2 sales in the UK last week came on Microsoft's Xbox 360, according to GfK-ChartTrack data. Just 35 percent of sales were of the PS3 version of the game - something of a surprise considering the cross-platform capability offered with the title's Steam features. The news comes as PSN suffers a sixth day of downtime following an "external intrusion" of the service. Read the rest, here. That really shocked me. It'll be interesting to see what happens by next week.

Gaming gives Nori Fox's autistic son Gavin a way to grow and develop on his own. 48 million Xbox Live members. 48 million stories. Nori is a wonderful lady. I've known her (via the internet) for several years. She is also the world's greatest baker of fudge brownies. You can try and dispute that, but you'd be WRONG. I have tasted her fudge brownies and no one can match them. No one. Despite all the negative press Xbox is receiving right now, I am glad they are making videos like these. Someone needs to show the positive side of video gaming, and this for sure is a positive light being shown. Rock on, Gavin!

  11. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/06/23/twinkies-return/2450233/ NEW YORK (AP) — Hostess is betting on a sweet comeback for Twinkies when they return to shelves next month. The company that went bankrupt after an acrimonious fight with its unionized workers last year is back up and running under new owners and a leaner structure. It says it plans to have Twinkies and other snack cakes back on shelves starting July 15. Go ahead and read the rest if you want, but all that matters is JULY 15TH!!! TWINKIES!!! WOOOO!!!!!

Tuna and I will be starting a new St. Patricks tradition tonight. Antoinette will be there as well, but probably drinking something fru fru like white wine spritzers. Anyways, Tuna and I will be boarding our time machines and drinking 40's of Mickeys. So, if you're awake and looking to drink, come join us in Teamspeak tonight. No ETA on a time. Probably sometime after Tuna gets off of work. 6:30PM PST or later. lol^

  15. Sometimes I enjoy reading police reports. Sometimes I don't. While crime is never funny, especially to those victimized, there are occasions where I simply cannot believe what I'm reading and feel the need to share it with you all. This is one of those times. Let's take a moment to aquaint ourselves with a Mr. Waldo Soroa, aged 19. Waldo, along with four other "respectable" young members of society, decided it would be a great idea to burglarize the home of a Florida woman sometime in mid-December. While in the home, these upstanding citizens decided to pilfer a number of electronic devices as well as some jewelry. Also purloined during the heist were two urns whic…

Trying to find a nice evening dress online. The problem? They're all super slutty. I need a nice dress for an engagement party but I can't exactly wear something that has my boobs flying all akimbo because it involves the boys' family. This is damn near ******* impossible, every evening/cocktail/nice event dress is liek HERE LET US DRAW ATTENTION TO YOUR BOOBIES. This is stupid. The one dress I found that was cute and no trashy didn't have my size. I hate shopping. The end.

  21. Viewers who stream network TV shows may soon discover the free ride is not so free. Hulu, which attracted 31 million unique users in March under a free-for-all model, is taking its first steps to change to a model where viewers will have to prove they are a pay-TV customer to watch their favorite shows, sources tell The Post. In fact, the move by Hulu toward the new model — called authentication because viewers would have to log in with their cable or satellite TV account number — was behind the move last week by Providence Equity Partners to cash out of Hulu after five years, these sources said. And it’s not just Hulu making it tougher for cable-cutters to stream shows a…

  23. Making someone grumpy, or who doesn't like to laugh... laugh. Asking my waiter/waitress how everything is with them, before they come back mid-meal and ask me how everything is. It's kind of some weird OCD thing with me. I even get a bit upset when I forget, and they beat me to it. Popping straws. Keeping really cool or thoughtful cards/letters. Usually to my detriment, since gf's often find it in bad taste. Pictures on the other hand, I do not to keep. Family ones of course, but not relationship ones. Buying a book based solely on it's name or cover art. If either are really good, I won't read the back cover to get a glimpse of the story or reviews. Putting pickled jalap…
