Ok, so you went off the beaten path, be sure to post it here.

  1. So Coy and I get pretty busy during the Spring/Summer months. On weekends we go out and help out with a group called Habitat for Humanity. I'm sure you've heard of them before. Basically they build/rebuild homes and sell them immediately to low-income families. It's pretty satisfying work! Right now we're working on a lot of land that has this condemned home on the property that we have to tear down and demolish first before they can rebuild on the site. Boy, lemme tell you, it's FUN to swing around a giant sledgehammer and smash through walls/supports/etc. Really gets a lot of stress out and it makes me feel good that I'm helping people who are less fortunate tha…

They aren't dogs, you might as well just get a cat. Why must they always want to crawl on you. My mom is in the hospital and I'm doggy sitting and this stupid dog won't do anything but sit in my lap. My dog Jack might be wild but at least he has personality!

Alright Gamercide, I like to write things and I finished this short story July 28th, 2011. I've always been kind of scared of my ability to write, but I want your honest opinions. Hold nothing back in your criticisms. Here it goes. Cold Blood By: Morrslieb The blood in Michael de Fourniret ran cold as the lifeblood of his enemy splashed on his hands. Geoffrey Jégado, the son of the well-known hero Gareth Jégado, had just fallen onto his blade. As the terror struck home inside of him he grew sick and became violently ill on the cobblestone, his last meal lost to the rats that plagued this city. It had been a simple matter of honor; Geoffrey had insulted a young woman…

  6. Well, I'm half as much of a bum. I'm still living at my parent's for now after the divorce but getting a car finally is a big step. Picked up a 2001 Toyota Celica GT-S with low miles. Had to drive down to Scranton, PA (a bit over an hour) to get it but I'm definitely stoked. It's in great condition. *dances* Of course, I'm sure it's going to handle like shit in the snow up here, but I'll just throw some snow tires on it and not drive like a maniac.

We just had a storm pass through that had rotation in the clouds which put out tornado warnings. Here are two photos that we took. Hail Tree limb down in front of our house that stopped local traffic.

It's soup season so I made this: Includes potatoes, bacon, green onions, cilantro, parsley, butter, flour, sour cream, shredded cheese, and milk. Anyone else like to cook, soups or otherwise?

  11. Wow. So a little while ago it was ruled that the government actually needs a warrant in order to physically place a GPS tracking device on your vehicle. Just recently however a judge released a 30 page decision saying that the government absolutely does not need a warrant to request, use, and track your location data generated by your cell phone (and presumably other electronic devices). Basically what it amounts to is unless you turn your cell phone completely OFF, the government is within their rights to track and use that data to their heart's content. Given the ubiquity and celebrity of geolocation technologies, an individual has no legitimate expectation of …

So it's Christmas, and I was wondering what kind of loot everyone got? My family usually does presents on Christmas Eve, so I got A Kindle Touch A Mark Ecko Star Wars Storm Trooper hoodie Some T-Shirts (including one awesome one where the human in an evolutionary line up is facing the other way saying "Stop following me!" to the pre-humans and chimp lol) Candies/chocolates etc. A headlamp and a booklight, either of which are perfect for the non-backlit Kindle (booklight seems to clip on well) Assorted shower gels and such So pretty cool stuff. I'm excited to be able to read a ton of good books now, and put some manga on the Kindle. I may have to post some pictures later …

  22. Started by ThermoNukePanda,

So Coy and I moved into our new place a few months ago now. We still have one of the bedrooms that is pretty much completely filled with unpacked boxes. So I told her today I'd go through and at least try to unpack all the video games. Now mind you, we've been here a few months. We have a LOT unpacked. We've got multiple LARGE media units completely packed with DVDs and video games already. I've probably unpacked about 80% of my Xbox 360 games, since it's the console we play the most, but I'm so overwhelmed even walking into that room. I'm trying to sort things and stack them by system, but I'm only 4 boxes into it and there's probably 8 or 9 more to go. I have no…

So I had to call Xbox Support today to cancel mine and Shanes 12 month auto-renewal. I was suprised at how easy it was! I was also suprised that they offered us both discounts for being such long time gold members. I just reverted to silver, but Shane changed to a 3 month plan, and he only had to pay $7.80. We could have got a deal of 12 months for $40 instead of $60 also. Way to go Xbox!

  25. Started by Siren,

I posted what that little boy wrote about being in Vagin@ a few days ago and when Granite came home yesterday I got my own little surprise in his notebook. There is a girl in his class named Savannah and apparently she's a hoe according to Granite. Now keep in mind Granite's only in Kindergarten, lol.
