  1. Started by Siren,

This is pretty nifty. Scientists believe that the chance of this planet containing some kind of life is nearly 100%. Linky "The discovery of a 'Goldilocks' planet--it's not too hot, not too cold--is thrilling scientists who think the planet may have the right conditions to sustain life. Located in the 'Goldilocks' zone, the planet is about 120 trillion miles (20 light years) from Earth. That sounds far but scientists say that's actually 'right next door' considering the size of the universe. This discovery, the first of its kind, excites some researches who believe the chances of life on the 'Goldilocks' planet are nearly 100 percent. Find out more about this new disco…

I know all of us are a creative bunch. I'm wondering, are any of you exceptional artists? I'm looking for someone to draw me something (here be dragons) and wondered if maybe any of you were up to the task? And in case you're wondering what it's for, I plan on using it as the cover art for a novel I'm writing.

engadget This just full on creeps me out. It looks like a real person and mimics facial expressions. It's being used in hospitals in Japan to gauge peoples facial expressions. Click on the link for the video of it in action.

So the area I live in is mostly nothing but mountains and surrounded by cornfields. Anywho I came home from work today and found poop on our back deck. It's adult bear poop...I know from hunting and my father confirmed it. My question to all of you is, do you know of a homemade bear repellent? Something that would keep them away from getting that close to our house. Totally not comfortable with them coming up on our back deck in count of the boys. We have never had bear problems before, mostly deer and skunks are around here. The bear also knocked a cinder block out of the way that was helping to keep the side door to the garage closed in count of the wind. The be…

So Coy and I moved into our new place a few months ago now. We still have one of the bedrooms that is pretty much completely filled with unpacked boxes. So I told her today I'd go through and at least try to unpack all the video games. Now mind you, we've been here a few months. We have a LOT unpacked. We've got multiple LARGE media units completely packed with DVDs and video games already. I've probably unpacked about 80% of my Xbox 360 games, since it's the console we play the most, but I'm so overwhelmed even walking into that room. I'm trying to sort things and stack them by system, but I'm only 4 boxes into it and there's probably 8 or 9 more to go. I have no…

  7. So, do you think I could get my wife to wear one of these? LoL Warning. This is potentially NSFW. No nudity, but some pasties are definitely present. <br><br><br> <iframe src=http://player.vimeo.com/video/19777275 width="640" height="480" frameborder="0"></iframe><p><a href=" Clap-Off Bra</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/user2362175">Randy Sarafan</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p>

  9. What's up peeps!? So life has been crazy for the last few months. School has been ridiculously busy and I've been working with some artists here working on a mixtape between homework and the studio, my internet time has been down in the negatives. But school is done next week so I'll be around a lot more. I'm still making side beats not for mixtapes so if anyone is interested on some newer stuff, I can post a link to the site I use now since I don't use Soundcloud to upload.

AOL 'Jackass' star Ryan Dunn died early Monday in a Pennsylvania car crash, it's been confirmed. April Margera, the mother of a fellow 'Jackass' dare devil, Bam Margera, told a local radio station and later TMZ that Dunn was killed in the car wreck that also left one other, who has yet to be identified, dead. The 34-year-old was a part of the 'Jackass' film franchise -- often pulling off eyebrow raising stunts to the delight of his fellow thrill-seeking buddies. Click the link for the full story and pic of car. It looks horrible.

  11. http://runforyourlives.com/ The hand-selected volunteers were transformed at our Zombie Training Facility. They’ll do whatever it takes to chase you down and grab your health flags. Our zombies will be fed right before the race, but please remember: Zombies will not physically contact any runner other than in attempt to pull a health flag. Direct physical contact (pulling, grabbing, pushing, striking, etc.) between zombies and runners will not be permitted. Sounds like a blast. Only happening in Maryland right now, but more locations are being added.

Please take the time to thank a vet today if you can or at least think about what they have done for you, including the men and women who are currently serving including current members here who we don't get to talk to much anymore. All of these men and women at one point wrote a blank check out to uncle sam and were and are willing to sacrifice everything for strangers and those they do know.

Hey, my friend's studying graphic design in college and he hopes to enter the field after graduating. He entered a contest for the band Rebelution and if his design gets the most votes, his design will be chosen for their upcoming tour. He'd really appreciate if you could vote for him! No need to sign-up for an account, you can vote by linking ur fb account. http://www.talenthouse.com/creativeinvites/preview/aa19d7d858db561a3c0ab9e6e1fe226e/357 Thanks!

Sorry for my absence around here the past week. I broke my tailbone in a rather blonde manner and have not been able to sit down for about a week...well comfortably anyway. I had some PM's while I was gone and I haven't been ignoring you, just trying to get my rear end feeling better, lol. Yes I am butt hurt, laugh it up.

So, just a reminder that this place makes me happy. I spend more time here than anywhere and that includes physical places. I take you to work and on vacation. It's good to be happy and better to spread that happiness to others. Love you all.

  23. I don't even know what to say about this one, so here's the short form. This dude (well, ex-dude now), Mao Sugiyama, is apparently an illustrator who defines "itself" as Asexual. He went on Twitter and basically threw out the offer that he would cook and serve his own dangly bits for the low low price of ¥100,000 (about $1,250 dollars ish) Creepy? Five people actually took the offer up, each paying around $250 to savor the scrotastic taste. Police were contacted, and they didn't care (no cannibalism laws in Japan! lol) Reportedly his junk functioned properly prior to the event and they "were served with Italian parsley and garnished with button mushrooms." You may not…

  24. What did he do to honor the memory of his feline friend? The cat was named Orville (after Orville Wright), and the artist is an RC Helicopter enthusiast. So he did what any other crazy "artist" would do. He taxidermied up his roadkill kitty, slapped a motor inside of him and drilled some propellers to his paws to make The Orvillecopter. And yes, it flies. Not very well, but it flies. http://tinyurl.com/7vflqkm
