  4. Two former CIA employees whose Kansas home was fruitlessly searched for marijuana during a two-state drug sweep claim they were illegally targeted, possibly because they had bought indoor growing supplies to raise vegetables. Adlynn and Robert Harte sued this week to get more information about why sheriff's deputies searched their home in the upscale Kanas City suburb of Leawood last April 20 as part of Operation Constant Gardener — a sweep conducted by agencies in Kansas and Missouri that netted marijuana plants, processed marijuana, guns, growing paraphernalia and cash from several other locations. The date of April 20 long has been used by marijuana enthusiasts to …

  6. Started by Kevnvek,

So my PSU somehow burned and melted some of the wiring in it. It happened sometime during the day while my computer was powered down, so I came home to a lovely burning plastic/rubber smell. I've known there was something wrong with the system for a while now and suspected the motherboard, but it looks like it was the PSU after all. Explains some of the oddities like USB ports and the CD drive on the front panel sometimes restarting the computer when activated. I've ordered a new one because I want my system back up and running as soon as possible, assuming nothing else is damaged in it. I rarely ever go for one day shipping, but I'm trying it for this. I'm currentl…

So I made a post awhile back about Ash going to a special school now. She's still studying to be in the vet field. SHE MADE THE HONOR ROLL!!! She has a grade point average of 3.25. This is the first time EVER for her. She is doing so good! A month ago, due to her good grades we paid for drivers ed and drivers training ($350 bucks!). She finished the drivers ed, and took the test. The kid passed it first go, and only missed 1! She had her first test drive, and is now driving with her dad. She LOVES driving! Funny thing? Ian is 20 and she is not even 16 yet and she'll probably have her license before he will. He'd rather ride his bike lol. But he does have his permit to…

  11. Started by green grenades,

Been sick the past couple of weeks, and now is the season where we all get runny noses, watery eyes, and feel terrible. Anyways go with Zyrtec, I took Allegra about 4 times and it did nothing for me at all. Took one Zyrtec this morning and it worked after an hour and is still working. Just giving a heads up in case anyone is feeling under the weather and needs to know what to choose.

  13. A Republican lawmaker in New York who has a record of voting against medical marijuana legalization has been arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. State police said that a suspicious odor was noticed in Assemblyman Steve Katz’s vehicle when they pulled him over for driving around 80 mph in a 75 mph zone at around 10 a.m. Thursday morning. “After noting the odor of marijuana, a New York State Trooper found Katz in possession of a small bag of marijuana,” a statement from state police said, according to the Times Union. Katz was given an appearance ticket for having less than 25 grams and is scheduled to appear in Coeymans Town Court on March 8. He also face…

  14. I found this website while browsing the nets today. Was featured on another site, and I have to say it delivered the laughs for me which I really needed. http://thumbsandammo.blogspot.com/ It's all just photoshopped pictures of people, removing the guns and inserting thumbs up hands on them. Quite a few are just downright awesome. Hope you enjoy as much as me!

  19. Started by StealthyShadows,

So I have been sitting in the shadows for a while now, checking out the occasional post that looks interesting and then moving off to get some other real life stuff worked out. Was around for a bit for the giveaway and was playing dead island with pk for a bit there then had to stop playing video games again. Went about 4 months give or take without a job and without income. Was an interesting couple of months though, while I was poor as hell I learned that I wasted a lot of money and in the grand scheme of things not having a job was almost more beneficial than having one. Simple things I took for granted like going out to eat I realized added up more than I thought it …

Me: It's been a while since I've logged into I-tunes. When I originally got i-tunes was allowed to link my aim name and used my AIM (aol instant messenger) name to log in and at the time it was Avahra. I tried to recover the password via the birthday and email and it said both answers were incorrect. I'm going to assume something has changed since I last used itunes, and I admit it's been a while. Unfortunately, both my computer and Ipod were both lost in the hurricane. I would like to be able to recover all of my music to a new IPOD but I can't do so without any of this. I need help :| Apple: Standard reply telling me to do everything that I have already done. Me: Y…

  21. Now keep in mind this is a 6 year old boy who has dreams of joining the military, plays little league baseball, and gets extremely good grades and has been on a second grade reading level since December. (This includes small chapter books) Doesn't get into major trouble, just your typical silly boy stuff like when the boy has to fart he will put his butt up against your leg and fart on you. Anyway, this boy makes a gun symbol with his finger towards his other boy classmates in music class. His music teacher tells his first grade teacher which causes the boy to burst into tears. The first grade teacher has to notify the principal, because it is school policy whenever …

  22. Started by Nick,

A cute little old lady goes to the doctor and says, "Doctor I have this problem with gas, but it really doesn't bother me too much. It never smells and is always silent. As a matter of fact I've farted at least 10 times since I've been here in your office. You didn't know I was farting because it doesn't smell and is silent." The doctor says, "I see. Take these pills and come back to see me next week". The next week the lady returns. "Doctor," she says, "I don't know what the heck you gave me, but now my farts, although still silent, stink terribly". "Good," the doctor said "Now that we've cleared up your sinuses, let's work on your hearing"

Notice a lot of people both from here and other places have let their accounts go silver, or just simply stopped playing a lot of the games I normally do. Is there a boycott going on, did I miss something? Or is everyone just getting over gaming geez!

  24. Started by Twiztid Rose,

I ended up being nearly fully sleeved. And did the roses on the outer arm instead of inner forearm. Later we are going to go back and add bright colorful butterflies to give it some pops of color. But I actually love how black and grey roses look, so thats why I went with that. Well its still really sore and redish. But I couldn't wait to share!! So here's the pics... So, whatcha think??

  25. Started by Nick,

I've been smoking cigs for like a year now. Maybe a little longer. I'm coming up on my 21st birthday within the next two weeks and am thinking of quitting. Anyone quit? I'm gonna try cold turkey but may try the e-cig route if I can't pull that off. Luckily I'm not too heavy a smoker. Less than half a pack a day.
