Wasn't sure where this topic might fit best so I apologize if this is in the wrong place. I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread to notify Gamercide crew of awesome gaming deals going on that they may not be aware of via Steam, Humble Bundle, GoG.com, etc etc. I got this idea today when I was looking through the Steam Sales and saw Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition on sale for $7.49 (originally $29.99). This pack includes: Dragon Age: Origins ($19.99)Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening Expansion Pack ($19.99)All Nine Content Packs (Prices Vary) That's at least a $40 value for $7.49 and a very awesome game definitely worth a look. The only thing making me…

Over the past couple of weeks, I have received PM's from some members who are concerned about individuals who are signing up for the Giveaway that appear to only be here for the Giveaway. I planned on addressing these PM's privately, however since I have received a few, I thought I would write a letter to the Gamercide community as a whole, not just the individuals who have sent me PM's. When I first joined Gamercide it was years ago; back when we were still the ATC. Pogre discovered my sarcastic and random ramblings on the Xbox Live forums and invited me to join the community after he thought I was going to get banned on the Xbox Live forums for telling people that t…

FXCK YOU. You make crappy unreliable consoles that a Russian manufacturer would be ashamed to make. I am not going to pay more money to transfer my saves. You greedy money grubbing a holes. Of course my xbox didn't come with the transfer cable. I thought it was in there but it was the ac cables and they aren't even for HD tv's why waste money putting those in there when most people have HD tv's now. Microsoft can blow me.

I dunno what's going to happen, but I do remember our whole crossing a "red line" statement that Obama had made. Thoughts?

On Depression & Getting Help This was originally posted February 26, 2010. I deal with suicidal, unipolar depression and I take medication daily to treat it. Over the past seven years, I’ve had two episodes that were severe and during which I thought almost exclusively of suicide. I did not eat much and lost weight during these episodes. I couldn’t sleep at all, didn’t even think about sex, and had constant diarrhea. The first thing I did each morning was vomit. My mind played one thought over and over, which was “Kill yourself.” It was also accompanied by a constant, thrumming pain that I felt through my whole body. I describe the physical symptoms because it hel…

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/110548-Leaked-Deus-Ex-Preview-Build-Impresses-Fans This and other recent instances, will change the way developers and publishers do business with sites and publications that work in the industry. I'm already starting to see the trend of publishers sending out review copy just a day before release. I'm assuming the reasoning behind this is several fold. One of which is, community sites that get the review copy, toss up an innocuous review of the game they never played, and sell their copy early on eBay for big bucks.

I'll delete this later. I know we have a Game Deals thread but sometimes I know I forget to check it and this is a HUGE deal! TODAY ONLY!!! DEUS EX: GOTY edition is only NINETY NINE CENTS!!! You can download it here: http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/games/Deus-Ex--GotY/
