Movies and TV

So, I just went and saw this. Have to say that I loved it. Not exactly a super story movie, but hard core action all the way. Again, really good movie. Worth seeing in the theater.

Saw both movies over the weekend the remake of Poltergeist I thought was well done, took my 13yr old daughter to it, she is the only one who enjoys the scary movies like I do, had enough of the original feel that we both enjoyed it, liked the changes they made with some of the story Pitch Perfect 2 was a good sequel, the 2 announcers were my favorite they had alot of funny lines, I liked the music they had in the movie as well.

Anyone watch this? Pretty great flick.

I'll just drop the schedule link here. http://espn.go.com/specialolympics/story/_/id/13314169/special-olympics-world-games-tv-schedule

Did anyone catch the first episode. What did you guys think

Watch Sir Patrick Stewart do cocaine, get with a hooker, bewbs, shatter a cop's testicle, maybe smoke some pot and other zany things in my new favorite TV show! http://www.couchtuner.la/watch-blunt-talk-online/ (First two are here) https://www.starz.com/originals/blunttalk/episodes(watch episode #1 guilt free here)

What are your guy's must watch horror flicks? This year I'm thinking of watching the following: It follows - Def my fav new movie. The Thing - the 80's and the newer one. And maybe even the original 'The Thing from Another World' The Grudge - That movie gave me nightmares for years.

It's juvenile and immature, but I fucking love this new show.

Anyone see the new x men. I bought a bootleg DVD. Not bad. Not super in my opnion

Thanks for the heads up PK! Only on episode 2 and I'm loving it.

So has anyone seen it yet. I went last Saturday

At this point, I'm sure everyone knows about this Netflix series. If you haven't seen it, I can't speak highly enough of this show. If you enjoy an 80's feel and setting, this show is for you. The Duffer Brothers aren't afraid to wear their love for things like E.T., Stephen King, Stand By Me, The Goonies, Dungeons and Dragons, and NUMEROUS other 80's influences on their sleeves. Each episode gets better and better as you try and figure out what is going on. You get invested with the main characters so much. The acting is amazing from a cast of kids that WILL be all stars. Also, Winona Ryder deserves so much credit for her role here. Again, if you're a fan of the 80's, th…

So, I told you about Stranger Things (Seriously go watch it). Well now I want to tell you about The Path. This one is a Hulu original and it stars Aaron Paul (YEAH BITCH!!) and Michelle Monaghan. It's a weird show about a family in a religious movement that's beginning to tear them apart. All the while, the cracks are starting to show in this movement as well, because of the 'new' way of thinking by the self crowned new leader. It's an odd beast for me because there are some really slow moments, but there's also some really thought provoking stuff here as well. By the end of season 1, I was pretty invested and think it's well worth a watch. I'm sure the more religious ori…

Yup, they're doing a remake of the the miniseries based on the the Stephen King book. I don't know if it's necessary or if it will even be good (Original miniseries was not good, save for Tim Curry.), but I'll be damned if Bill Skarsgård don't look creepy as hell as Pennywise. Can we agree to just kill it with fire? Please?

Things like this are why I love films. BEHOLD....

I went to see this today, and I have to say I loved it! Much better than the last Star Wars film continuing the story. There was a few scenes too close to Uncanny Valley territory due to bringing back some original faces, but overall it was a fantastic movie. Bit slow to start, but turned out to be a very great movie in the Star Wars universe.

Love this show. It's from the guy behind Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Adultswim and Dan Harmon made it possible last night to watch the first episode of season 3 last night. They played it on loop on the Adultswim website. It was glorious! If you did miss it - https://vid.me/JBhQ Enjoy!

So @Dateranoth, @Avahra and I watched Bee Movie last night together. It was fun as hell and I'm hoping we eventually do it like a once a month type of thing. If it gets popular, maybe even once a week. Give us some feedback!

I don't know man...seems like DC really doesn't know what the hell they're doing anymore. Superman was just ok. Supergirl was kind of trash (Except Lobo). This just looks...odd:
