The usual place, The Golden Anchor Boat Club in Tracy, CA. I'll be gone tomorrow through Sunday, but now I do have a smartphone so I'll pop into the forums sporadically. Heck, I even have mumble set up on the thing so I could say "hi" there too. It'll be a relaxing weekend and we'll be taking my 8 year old cousin (I'm sure she'll have fun there). Just letting you guys know I'll be sort of out for a couple days.

Written by Regina Brett, 90 years old, of the Plain Dealer, Cleveland, Ohio . "To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most requested column I've ever written. My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more: 1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good. 2. When in doubt, just take the next small step. 3. Life is too short – enjoy it. 4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will. 5. Pay off your credit cards every month. 6. You don't have to win every argument. Stay true to yourself. 7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone. 8. It's OK to get angry…

So, just need to rant a little bit. Time Warner Cable recently took over my town's cable provider Insight. I finally get their first bill, which is broken down. I see a service charge for 4.95 a month for Home WiFI. Turns out, like two years ago, when I upgraded my internet speed they dropped off a wifi router. I told the guy I didn't want it, but he said just hang on to it because there was no charge for it. So I did, and my bill said WiFi Router 0.00 . WELL, this entire time they had been using that to add a WiFi fee of 4.95 a month to my bill. It was bundled with my service cost, but now TWC has broke it down and I saw it. Spent an hour on the phone today try…

GG and Pip will be co-op'ing and streaming R.I.P.D. (the game) on our Twitch channel tonight. Why would they do that? So happy you asked me that! Pip was doing another one of his random giveaways last weekend, and a few of the winners allowed me to pick a game from Steam as their prizes. Sedington got Under the Ocean, my bud Chopper got Alice: Madness Returns, and GG walked away with the grand prize. haha It wasn't really a troll. I floated the idea to Pip secretly, he looked at the game and noticed it had a two-pack and decided it'd be fun to co-op and stream. Also, GG loves third person shooters. I think you guys should stop by and witness the spectacle if you'r…

Raisins and grapes (as well as onions and macadamia nuts) can kill your dog. In very, very small quantities. http://www.beaglesandbuddies.com/index.php3?topic=raisins Not the best site in the world, but the raisin ratio (lawl) is pretty spot on for those dumbassed little raisin packs. Figured I'd spread the word since my dog almost fucking died tonight due to the idiotic neglect of a family member. Thankfully I recognized the raisin boxes in the shaming pictures, or we would have had two dead dogs on our hands. We still don't even know the full prognosis for mine. In short: Don't feed your animal people food, it's dumb.

Hello everyone. Just wanted to stop in and say hi. Sorry I haven't been here in awhile! Just been dealin' with and livin' life. (Yes Irish, I'm still alive)! Been spending a lot time with some new friends (new for me, old for Shane). Getting out and doing more things, being more active. But you guys are still my FAMILY! =) Much, much loves! <3 <3 XoXo Jen

The easiest way to sum this up is "Monty Python skits twinged with Eldritch horror" http://commonplacebooks.com/welcome-to-night-vale/ ENJOY THE SHIT OUT OF THIS, SERIOUSLY. It has been eating my morning drives, evening drives, all the drives. So good, so.. so good. Also please be aware that today I'm exempt from all laws. My horoscope told me so.

I figured everyone needs a place to learn all the things GG decides to throw out during streams. So this is the perfect place for anyone to plant any GG based things they here GG saying while Live, such as If you run naked backwards through a cornfield the corn will go up your butt. I figure this will help new people joining the livestreams to not be afraid if they hear GG letting out his true GG self.

Explanation: Is this an alien? Probably not, but of all the animals on Earth, the tardigrade might be the best candidate. That's because tardigrades are known to be able to go for decades without food or water, to survive temperatures from near absolute zero to well above the boiling point of water, to survive pressures from near zero to well above that on ocean floors, and to survive direct exposure to dangerous radiations. The far-ranging survivability of these extremophiles was tested in 2011 outside an orbiting space shuttle. Tardigrades are so durable partly because they can repair their own DNA and reduce their body water content to a few percent. Some of these m…
