Thought some of you might find this story amusing. I've had an interesting weekend with some troublesome kids. I have two trail cams on my property as a deterrent to try and prevent kids from breaking stuff or just generally causing any trouble. For most of the past year it has worked great. I've been working on my bridge the last couple of weekends, and Saturday I had to pour some concrete for support. While I was out there I noticed that one of my cameras had a broken IR cover lens. I didn't think much of it. Changed out the memory card and thought maybe a rock from a mower hit it. However, while I was thinking of it, I went to change the card on the other came…

Looks like all is quiet on the home front. Been busy with work and visitors, oh, and finishing projects around the house. Started on rebuilding a bridge on my property today, put the first of several cameras up earlier this month, and had several visitors come and go the past couple of weeks. Not to mention work as usual. Hope everyone is doing well. Also, been trying to make time to play some games unsuccessfully, and we're about to hit another heavy season of games. I do have GoW 4 that came with my GPU. Want to put some time into it after Deus Ex.

So, tracking is the way of the ad world now, but until recently google wasn't using your information to personally identify you. That's probably changed if you accepted an innocuous email this past year. Bottom of that article tells you where to opt out, but it's worth reading it all. https://www.propublica.org/article/google-has-quietly-dropped-ban-on-personally-identifiable-web-tracking

So, my wife is into Halloween and likes to decorate. Plus I recently put part of our security system in. This combination led to creepy ghosts staring me down. The cameras will take a snapshot if the detect movement and email the picture to me. I woke up to this email today.

I moved into a new apt last week, and the rent is higher than what I was paying. So, sadly I must start cooking dinner every night rather than my once or twice a week I had going on. What are some of your go to recipe dinners?

at a dildo factory, every imperfect model gets tossed into the sea it eventually builds up and creates an island a sailor is stranded on this island now he has to spell help with dildos

Weather.com has an article on the tornados that tore through Central Indiana last night. No injuries have been reported, but there is video of a Starbucks being completely leveled that just floors me: Hopefully all our Gamercide crew in that area are okay. https://weather.com/news/news/tornado-confirmed-kokomo-indiana

So, the latest update to Windows 10 "Anniversary Update" or some such forces Cortana to stay on and disables the classic search. You can turn off all the predictive learning, etc, but if you search the web through Cortana you are still forced to a Bing search via Edge. Some awsome person made an easy work around. Simply follow the install instructions and the search links will open in your default browser using your selected search engine. https://github.com/charlesmilette/SearchWithMyBrowser This site has a bit clearer instructions than the GitHub: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/force-cortana-use-chrome-google-windows-10/

This is likely not interesting to some, but it was cool they grabbed him. Shut the plant down for a weekend while they filmed it. Looks like he will be directing and starring in these commercials for the next couple of years.

WUT!?
