Woooo! 21! Super important day, and on a FRIDAY no less! Go out and have yourself some fun. Be careful though and don't over do it!

Today was their wedding. Can't wait to see some pictures and hear all it all went.

Wicked frustrating. So a bunch of short bus riding, basement dwelling, moronic script kiddies (that's why "hackers" is in quotation marks in the title) decided to DDoS the Playstaion Network on Sunday. They were successful. I don't remember the name of the "group" or whatever that are claiming responsibility on Twitter or whatever, but the completely jammed up the whole system and I was unable to log in at all throughout Sunday. They also claimed to have affected some of WoW's servers, Path of Exile and I think League of Legends. What a bunch of tools. Anyways, I played Diablo III offline for most of the day anyways. Got my Crusader up to level 66. Starting …

SEATTLE—August 25, 2014—Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) today announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire Twitch Interactive, Inc., the leading live video platform for gamers. In July, more than 55 million unique visitors viewed more than 15 billion minutes of content on Twitch produced by more than 1 million broadcasters, including individual gamers, pro players, publishers, developers, media outlets, conventions and stadium-filling esports organizations. "Broadcasting and watching gameplay is a global phenomenon and Twitch has built a platform that brings together tens of millions of people who watch billions of minutes of games each month – from The Interna…

Take, for example, Dr. Herbert Kleber of Columbia University. Kleber has impeccable academic credentials, and has been quoted in the press and in academic publications warning against the use of marijuana, which he stresses may cause wide-ranging addiction and public health issues. But when he's writing anti-pot opinion pieces for CBS News, or being quoted by NPR and CNBC, what's left unsaid is that Kleber has served as a paid consultant to leading prescription drug companies, including Purdue Pharma (the maker of OxyContin), Reckitt Benckiser (the producer of a painkiller called Nurofen), and Alkermes (the producer of a powerful new opioid called Zohydro). Kleber, who di…

So, get this. Have you seen any of the new ads for Destiny on TV and stuff? Guess what, it pretty much only mentions Playstation despite the game being available on Microsoft platforms as well. This makes MS unhappy. From what I've been seeing, apparently not only does Sony have rights to exclusive game content till late 2015, but also has exclusive rights to advertise the game as well! Enter Microsoft and trying to get around this exclusivity. http://destinyfragrance.com This was first posted on some UK twitter and facebook sites, and the above link which was advertised within some UK magazine ads also takes you to pre-order stuff at a UK retailer. You kn…

On Depression & Getting Help This was originally posted February 26, 2010. I deal with suicidal, unipolar depression and I take medication daily to treat it. Over the past seven years, I’ve had two episodes that were severe and during which I thought almost exclusively of suicide. I did not eat much and lost weight during these episodes. I couldn’t sleep at all, didn’t even think about sex, and had constant diarrhea. The first thing I did each morning was vomit. My mind played one thought over and over, which was “Kill yourself.” It was also accompanied by a constant, thrumming pain that I felt through my whole body. I describe the physical symptoms because it hel…

Go get some more work done on your Tat and have a great day!!!

In my current college semester I am in an Introduction to Public Speaking class, and this was my first major speech. I think it went well enough for me to share. It is an informative speech about what video game live streaming/broadcasting is, its origins, and how it has influenced gamers and the gaming industry. Other than a couple verbal stumbles and note checks when I lost my place, I think it went quite well.

Hooray! Another birthday! Have a great one today!

Wooooo!!! Another October birthday! Have a great day dude and Happy Birthday!

Ended up picking this up, and i have to say it's definitely one of the better entries in many years now. Anyone else playing this right now? And videogame Kevin Spacey is totally creepy real looking in some of the cutscenes. I'm kind of blown away by the mocap.

Not as momentous as a kid, but still pretty awesome. He's 8 weeks old and his name is Shadow. http://instagram.com/p/vMZrRGGCfh/

Hey man, I hope you have a great birthday today and a fantastic Thanksgiving as well.

Miscellaneous Rules: Anybody who sends me a PM with one complaint is getting publicly shamed this year with a screenshot and it appearing openly in the forum. I have had it with the amount of PM's I receive year after year. I gave everybody the chance this year to say what they wanted to out in the open and nobody really did. So I am having none of it this year. There will be no preview list this year of what the prizes will be. You can find the reason for this in the "Donator" section.Categories this year include: Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PC, Wii U, and Tablet/Ipad/mobile devices.Kira is in charge of making up the list of the winners. Nobody else is to do this, but K…

Here is the last major speech that I did for my speech class, on Wednesday. The topic is Peace Through Violence, how learning violent martial arts like Shou Shu can bring you greater discipline in your behavior. I got a bit nervous in the beginning and had a couple brief pauses to catch my thoughts, but considering that I had memorized the entire speech to perform without my notes (again; despite the teacher's urging that we do the speech extemporaneously from notes), I think I did quite well. Also, here is another demonstration of the aggressive vs. joint lock variation of a technique that I show in the speech:

Hey man. Hope you have a most excellent birthday today. It's a Friday, so be careful if you go out and don't get too crazy!
