Remember, your gamertag will be tied to your opinions in the internet forever! So, what do you guys think? Are stereotypes correct, are they a big deal to you, do you think fall under a gamer stereotype, etc.... Spanks in advance for you input!

I'm not going to be getting my prizes out very soon. I'm having money constraints right now, and I have no idea how much it is going to cost me to ship the stuff. Also, if anyone wants to trade their game because they've already got it, I'm also thinking of getting rid of MW2 and Borderlands (sorry pk!), I'm not thinking of playing either of those games ever again, so if someone wants to trade with one of those games, go ahead.

  5. By Kris Graft - Gamasutra The International Game Developers Association on Friday condemned censorship of video games, as California's long-debated video game law heads to the Supreme Court. "Video games are at the heart of technical and artistic innovation," said IGDA Chair Gordon Bellamy. "Singling out games from other media is not only unconstitutional, according to courts throughout the country, but it also stigmatizes a leading industry in our economy that's embraced by millions in all walks of life." IGDA's condemnation of censorship comes as the U.S. Supreme Court decided to review California's video game bill, which seeks to put age restrictions on the sale of gam…

  6. In a statement made late last week, Chief Executive of Nintendo Satoru Iwata explained one of the regrets that Nintendo is coming forth about with the once considered landmark console, the Nintendo Wii. “I now regret that we didn’t tie up with someone outside the company to market the Wii. If we had done that, the fate of the Wii might have been different. Now I am aware that we should not rely too much on ourselves. You will see what I mean by this when we market the 3DS and the Wii in the future.” – Satoru Iwata, Nintendo’s Chief Executive Hopefully these regrets will turn their newly announced console that will be on hand at this year’s E3 into a machine that their …

  10. An Android app developer has published what he says is conclusive proof that millions of smartphones are secretly monitoring the key presses, geographic locations, and received messages of its users. In a YouTube video posted on Monday, Trevor Eckhart showed how software from a Silicon Valley company known as Carrier IQ recorded in real time the keys he pressed into a stock EVO handset, which he had reset to factory settings just prior to the demonstration. Using a packet sniffer while his device was in airplane mode, he demonstrated how each numeric tap and every received text message is logged by the software. Ironically, he says, the Carrier IQ software recorded the “h…

Found this on Gizmodo. I find it highly amusing how some people banter back and forth and edit Wiki pages in a nonstop barrage of point/counterpoint. Some of them are stupid, like spellings of things like Sulfur/Sulphur, Aluminum/Aluminium, etc. Some of them are strange, asking questings like "Should a picture of an Anus be included on the source page? Male or Female? Hairless or "moderately hairy". I can't believe that over ten thousand edits have been made over Ann Coulter's birthday. Wow... LoL Enjoy!.

  17. Last week we posted one of the gameplay videos for Megaman Universe. It evoked classic Mega Man gameplay…almost a bit TOO classic, as the stages seemed to resemble remixes of stages from Mega Man 2. And we still had no clue about the special characters that would guest star (Ryu and American Box Art Man). Well, Capcom Unity has revealed the nature of Mega Man Universe. The people behind the new stages and characters won’t be the Capcom designers but the Mega Man Universe players. Taking cues from Little Big Planet, Mega Man Universe will allow players to not only customize and create their own unique robotic hero from various parts of classic, new, and guest characters…

Also included in the free DLC will be a Templar Score feature which according to Ubisoft is “reward diligent work by Abstergo recruits.” via GameSpot View the f…

  19. At a recent telecom conference, a Verizon CFO indicated that there will be no plans going forward to offer unlimited data plans, even to customers (like myself) who have grandfathered contracts. The change will occur when customers upgrade to a LTE device (higher data speeds). Fuuuuuuuu....... I knew it was too good to be true, and my upgrade comes up in July.

  25. On Monday, the Miami Herald posted an article about rising support for legalized medical marijuana in the state of Florida. The article mentioned an pro-pot activist named Cathy Jordan, who uses the drug to mitigate the symptoms of Lou Gehrig's disease. The article mentioned Sen. Jeff Clemens (D-Lake worth), who is sponsoring a bill to legalize the drug. That bill is named after Jordan. The Bradeton Herald now reports that just hours after that article ran, a team of ski-mask-clad deputies from the Manatee County Sheriff's Department staged a guns-drawn raid on Robert and Cathy Jordan's home. According to Robert Jordan, the cops seized 23 marijuana plants, including th…
