Little details are known about the game other than it’s exclusivity. In the upcoming Battlefield 3, there will be nine multiplayer maps. These maps are the ones ‘that combined bring out everything we want both veteran and new Battlefield players to experience in Battlefield 3 multiplayer’ says DICE’s David McDonagh. So here is the list and names of the maps you can expect to run, duck, and drive in on Oct. 25th. Gamers who have been living out their pro golfing fantasies through the Tiger Woods series, Tiger Woods PGA Tour are going to be shedding a tear. EA and Tiger Woods announced that they have parted ways after a 15 year relationship. While EA and Tiger Woods have severed their relationship, EA still retains the rights to the PGA tour series, they just cannot use Tiger Woods name, in game character, and put him on the cover. EA does plan on using PGA Tour in the name on future titles including the announcement of a next gen PGA Tour game that will be on the PS4, Xbox One, and mobile devices. In a rather questionable and unexplainable move, Square Enix has decided to put the legendary assassin from Assassin’s Creed, Ezio Auditore into their upcoming sequel to Final Fantasy Xlll, Final Fantasy Xlll-2 with Ubisoft’s approval of course. Square Enix and Ubisoft made the announcement in a joint press release stating that the assassin’s costume from Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will be an available option to Final Fantasy Xlll-2′s main character, Noel Kreiss. Actor Tom Hardy who most recently played a very well done rendition of Bane in Dark Knight Rises' has been cast as Sam Fisher in the upcoming Splinter Cell movie being produced by Ubisoft Motion Productions with the help of Regency Productions. The movie; which is still in it's infancy stage, has not been given a date for when production is expected to begin. Also announced from the Ubisoft camp is that Michael Fassbender will be starring in the upcoming Assassin's Creed film which is slated to start production in the summer of 2013. Square Enix has announced that if you want to get your gaming mitts on an extra Thief mission dubbed Bank Heist you must pre-order the game. The content which is being developed by Eidos Montreal is set to pay homeage to a bank mission in Thief 2: The Metal Age. In the mission, players are setting out to steal The Star of Auldale within the city's Stonemarket First Bank. The Bank Heist will feature a lot of loot, secrets, and of course tight security. Id Software starts off its advertising campaign for Rage with the release of a new TV Spot, featuring the visceral combat the game has always showcased, to the aptly titled song “Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums” by the band A Perfect Circle. The fast pace and dark tones of the song do well when used in tandem with the guns, gore, wingsticks and the Wasteland this superb trailer shows off. Former Rooster Teeth personality and community member David Dreger aka KnucklesDawson has gone missing from the Vancouver, British Columbia area and police have upgraded the investigation to a missing persons case.According to information posted by RoosterTeeth's SailorTweek, Dreger tweeted about deleting his Xbox Live and Twitter accounts and then sent out his last tweet out on May 26th. SCE Japan's Shuhei Yoshida is calling out US Sony's Jack Tretton for a comment he made during an interview with Games Industry claiming that The Last Guardian is on a hiatus. Real Steel staring Hugh Jackman might be getting attention for it’s intense and almost futuristic robot fighting action, however a pair of good eyes spied an Xbox 720 logo in the back of the arena where the robot fights take place.
