Chris may have already hinted at this, but Google is having a special giving away 10 different apps for just 10 cets a piece. Pretty easy decision for me since I can pay for these by adding them to my phone bil. http://bit.ly/v6o67R

So I have some money together and am thinking of getting the first wave of parts for my PC rebuild. I already have a 1k watt modular PSU, GTX 680 GPU, good SB Recon sound card, and BlackMagic capture card to transfer over. I will decide on a mobo/cpu (probably a good mobo and an intel i7 hexacore) when I have the rest to comfortably buy it (within a month or so). But here's what I might order tonight: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=32567288 I also have a second of that 8GB stick of RAM, so the other is for proper dual-channelling. The case that I already have is the NZXT Phantom 410 in white, that totally looks Portal-themed: …

http://thenextweb.com/apps/2011/10/11/adobe-demos-incredible-unblur-feature-for-photoshop/ This can change a lot of things if it works as purported. I can imagine a day when redacted (blacked out) government documents are unraveled before our eyes. Interesting stuff for sure.

I'm pretty sure my kids got a virus from Facebook on the pc. Shanes cousin gave us the computer cuz the old one broke down. We'd only had it a short time, and I didn't realize there wasn't any damn virus protection on it until it was too late. Now it just sits on the windows xp screen, and it won't go to the password page. Is there anyway I can force it to load up? I can clean it out, once I get it to load up (I think..). .

Apple attempts to patent kill switch that roots out unauthorized users, detects jailbreaks By Sean Hollister posted Aug 21st 2010 8:58PM "Just about every mobile operating system manufacturer can remotely delete apps from the smartphones they help provide, but if a recent patent application is any indication, Apple's looking to lock down the whole enchilada on future devices. The basic concept is as simple as the diagram above -- certain activities trigger the phone to think it's in the wrong hands -- but the particular activities and particular remedies Apple suggests extend to audiovisual spying (to detect if a user has a different face or voice than the owner), and com…

hone Story, an iOS game designed to highlight workers rights issues in the supply chain and production of Apple's iPhone, has been removed from the App Store due to a violation of Apple's review guidelines. The game, from Every Day The Same Dream team MolleIndustria, consists of a series of four mini-games "that make the player symbolically complicit in coltan extraction in Congo, outsourced labor in China, e-waste in Pakistan and gadget consumerism in the West," according to the official web site. But shortly after the game was announced and made available for purchase on the App Store earlier this morning, MolleIndustria tweeted that it had been removed for violating fo…

Wassup guys i recently bought two Astro A40 Headset online. One for Xbox 360 & One for Pc(Steam ) Use. It costed me 350.00 $$ . What do you guys think??

So I finally caved in and ordered a set of wireless Astro A40s, which includes the Astro Wireless Mixamp 5.8 and the Astro A40 headset. The only real difference between it and the newest model, wireless Astro A50s, is that the wireless components are built into the headset of the A50s (the headset itself is the same funcionally and quality-wise), so the A40s are better off in the long run. With the mixamp I can make any stereo headset wireless (plugged into a little transmitter you can pocket or clip on a belt) and surround sound (virtual surround sound from the mixamp; from what I gather the surround sound works on stereo headsets because it involves different tones an…

Well. I just made my after Christmas, probably getting a new job, my birthday is in a week, and don't tell the wife the total cost purchase. Brand new Astro A40 Wireless System. http://www.astrogaming.com/ Astro needs to call Tritton and thank them for selling me the worst pos ever. The AX180s. My experience with them has been so horrid that I had to have the opposite of fail and opted for a great headset ( I hope ) . I'll be honest that I think they are over priced. Well, the headset is. The mixamp is worth it. Especially the wireless one that was on sale the past month. 100 bucks for xbox 360/ ps3 surround compatibility with any standard headset is a great pi…

For what it’s worth, I strongly recommend that our readers look elsewhere when shopping for personal audio systems. Other major competitors offer similar solutions with large support teams who will actually troubleshoot a problem with customers. If you don’t care about support and if you want to roll the dice and hope you never have to contact them, by all means, purchase an Astro Gaming product. The technology, and the sound that their wireless mixamp produces, is fantastic. However, if you value quality technical support and anticipate needing help from the company somewhere down the line, look elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration. Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, and I haven't introduced myself yet but my name is Aaron and I'm a pc gamer. I just thought I'd contribute a little, if any of you are looking for a good graphics card, at this price it's a steal. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-299-AS&tool=3 This is only for UK buyers however, sorry if you're all from the US aha. - Blinked

The Samsung Galaxy S 4 was just released a few days ago, going on sale across the US through most carriers (root already achieved). Reviews are somewhat mixed, with some claiming this to be the latest best thing in smartphone history, while others are not so impressed. US carrier versions seem to suffer from carrier-itis, which is a medical term for “severely crippled and loaded to the eyeballs with bloatware“. If history has taught us anything since the Galaxy family has been around, it is the fact that Verizon Wireless tends to lock the daylights out of every phone in in their line up. It is in fact, one of the only carriers world wide that actually sell bootloader lock…
