I haven't owned a portable gaming device since the game boy and even then I didn't use it much outside of my home. That story has changed now that I own an iPhone. I just purchased GTA 3 for my phone. That is just amazing to me. I can take a game I spent hours in front of a tv playing anywhere. That's not to mention tons of great classics like Final Fantasy 1-3 and Chrono Trigger. Plus new games that just amaze me like Infinity Blade 1&2. Now, my question is do you see a phone as a mobile gaming device? I do. Granted it takes some good design to make them playable but there are tons of games that will work. I actually would love to see more classics brought to the …

Sauce Digital announces Suckers, their latest game for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. The game will launch in mid September and will be free. Suckers is a highly addictive, skill based, colour matching game. Featuring bouncy physics, mega combos and Game Center leaderboards. There is a game play video here on YouTube: The aim of Suckers is to score as many points as possible before a sucker lands touching the game over line. Suckers are happy little balls that drop from the sky, at a faster and faster rate. Tap groups of 3 or more touching Suckers of the same colour, to pop them and score. Look out for doubles - which can count as either colour and can make groups from …

I have been playing this game on my ipad. Man it brings back memories of the WoW days of old lol. It really feels and looks just like WoW for the most part. They did a great job making this all work on iphone/ipad. So the game costs $6.95 and you get 3 months of game time with it. After the 3 months it costs 0.99¢ a month. I consider this really cheap for as big as the game is. You can level 1-60 just like vanilla WoW. There is PvP from what I have seen in certain zones. Its actually really well done with professions, guilds, different chat channels, etc. Order: Chaos:

If you like Tower Defense games I'd suggest checking these two out. Very fun games, and they've captured my attention a lot more than the equally awesome Robo Defense. The 2nd one is definitely improved and was recently released. I have both of them and they've made Angry Birds pretty lonely lately. Also, the developer of the title (Gianormous Games) is pretty awesome and helpful. I've talked to him via email a few times.

So it looks like there is going to be an Evil Dead game on the iPhone. It looks like Nintendo Miis getting chainsawed and tree raped. Honestly don't know what to think about it just yet. There needs to be a "scared" face for the little Miis though. Something about a straight faced Mii Ash that is just odd. Take a look at the trailer:

Previously, the Nintendo DS cartidges could only carry around 512MB, so this is a humongous increase in size. Nintendo is putting a cap on the size of the games right now around 2GB, with a minimum of 1GB, but the room for expansion in the future will definitely be there. Can you imagin…

Great game if you're into MLB The Show, has a My Player mode where you can retire your player and build him up and stronger. Just added achievements to Gamecenter, it's a $3 or $5 game, can't remember exactly but worth it.

So I stumbled across this awesome downloadable program on Nintendo's downloadable DSWare service. It's a beautiful little thing called "Art Academy". Currently there are two downloable titles, First Semester and Second Semester. I downloaded the First Semester and gave it a go. It REALLY imitates drawing in a very lifelike fashion and allows you to select multiple kinds of pencils (hard/medium/soft), as well as a wonderful watercolor painting utility to switch to after you're done with the pencil work where you can adjust the amount of paint and water to use to make some amazing effects. The "game" basically teaches you how to draw and paint, starting with very simple pe…

Apparently a closed door session was held to show off the PSP2. What has been "confirmed" at this point? - DUAL ANALOGS!!! WOOOO!!!! - "Touch screen" on rear of device - 1" larger screen than previous models - Fall 2011 release window Apparently they are dealing with some major overheating issues as well at this point, but knowing Sony they'll definitely sort something out. I can't imagine a whole 1" larger screen, but the promise of the dual analogs has me pumped. It's something the PSP desperately needs.

So I bought this for Coy actually this past weeked cause she wanted it and likes puzzles, along with Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep (PSP). She immediately started playing Kingdom Hearts. I couldn't let the poor Professor sit there in his case, yearning to unleash his puzzle madness upon someone's brains. Some of these puzzles are MADDENING. I mean, really. I don't want to use a guide; no, I REFUSE to use one! I simply must melt my grey cells and figure out these ******** by myself ******! Now excuse me, I have hint coins to find (which I try VERY hard not to use, even though most are UNHELPFUL hints) and puzzles to attempt to solve. :Retard:

"...we have a PSP2 in the house and we’re looking at the engine, like what can it support. Always a big thing for us is the performance. We’re running at 60 fps, what can we do and do we have to build all the art assets over. We’re definitely looking at them. PSP2 looks like it’s a pretty powerful machine. We don’t have a 3DS system in house yet, but we’re looking to get one, and we’ll certainly look at what its power is.” OH MY EFFING G!!!!!! I have one thing to say though. TWO ANALOG NUBS OR GTFO! Seriously. I want dual analogs Sony. EVERY PSP owner wants dual analogs. I'm definitely excited though. It's weird, since we've been SHOWN the 3DS already and they don't …

I saw this on an unmentionable other gaming website. While the new 3DS is going to be awesome, I have to admit some of the screens look a tad jaggy. We'll have to see how it turns out and how well it runs but check this out. Looks pretty good right? How about this one. Hey, that doesn't look all th.... MOTHER OF GOD WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH RYU'S FACE!? *pulls a CSI* ENHANCE!!!!! That face is priceless. LoL

Carmack went on to explain that although the pocket-sized iPhone lacks things like tactile feedback, it offers a comparable amount of muscle to the original Xbox or PlayStation 2. In fact, he said the device could kill anything done on a previous-generation console, adding that it's not far off from the current-generation machines -- a bold claim to be sure, but the preview does look stunning. http://www.techspot.com/news/39954-ids-rage-coming-to-iphone-kills-xbox-and-ps2-games.html Reason to buy one? Not really, but cool non the less if the control scheme is workable.

If you have a PSP, and enjoy RPG games, I HIGHLY recommend downloading Lunar: Silver Star Harmony. It's half off right now on the Playstation Network for the next few days. Retails for $29.99 and you can pick it up for only $14.99! Well worth it! Was a great RPG when it came out a long time ago on SegaCD, and now it has updated graphics and additional content. Great game and pretty funny. Here's a comparison screen of the original to the update:

So I played the demo for that Gladiator game on the PSP. My god, it's SUUUUUCCCHHH a blatant rip-off of the Spartacus TV show. LoL Right down to the ludus (gladiatorial housing/training complex) looking almost exactly the same, having a black guy as your mentor/trainer, etc.
