I bought Starcraft 2 yesterday, but I can't play it. Everytime I play, it says it needs to update (fair enough) and then goes to update. When it reaches 16%, it stops, shuts down my internet connection and brakes my entire wireless network. I have to restart everything even to use the internet on a different computer. I have no idea why this doesn't work. Its not my firewall because I can disable all of that and it still doesn't work. I was wondering if any of you have the update files or a link the the direct file so I can just download and install the update without the downloader, or if you know why this is being weird. Thanks.

I have been trying to find a solution for this for days... I am trying to play need for speed on my pc with the xbox 360 controller but the car always drifts left. Calibrating doesn't solve the issue and using a keymapper does not work because I cannot disable or change the controls in the game. I have been searching on the internet literally for hours and have about given up. Anyone have any ideas?

http://www.techspot.com/news/39727-npd-48-of-pc-games-sold-in-2009-were-downloads.html The NPD is FINALLY tracking digital downloads. Showing that 48% of games sold in 2009 on the PC were digital downloads. I bring this up because they historically haven't tracked digital sales. That's 23.5million hard copies and 21.3million digital ones. Easy to spew PC gaming is dieing when you don't count half of the damn sales! Glad to see they're finally catching up with the times.

This game was sent to me by a friend, and its awesome...lol. Its very gory, so if you can't handle gore, don't click the link. Its fun as hell though. Once you make it to the later stages, it gets very difficult. Clicky for game

Steam is running their 50% off Borderlands deal right now, and I am debating if I should pick it up or not. I know pretty much none of you play this on PC, but do you think it's worth the purchase anyhow? Is it a game I can jump online with random players and enjoy or no? Well, NM. I got my brother to go in with me on the 4 pack so I'm getting it for super cheap. Downloading it now!

Anyone else play this? When Steam came out for Mac I had to try this game since I don't have a PC. I gotta say it is suprisingly great fun for the price! This will get me through until Diablo 3 comes out for sure and help curve WoW withdrawls haha. Even though I quit like a year ago I still have times where I want to play it but don't want to pay the monthly fee. Cataclysm has peaked my interest though might be hard to resist coming back for a short bit to check it out.

So, I have had the Witcher since it was released and play probably 5 hours of it. However, I never finished it, and now The Witcher 2 is soon to be on its way. I think it's about time that I played it. It was really good the little that I did play. Would anyone be interested in watching it if I were to stream it to Gamercide? I of course will be streaming some RDR when I get the capture card ( mon or tues. ) but I also want to stream this. However, as an RPG I'm not sure how fun it would be to watch. If it's not worth streaming I will just play it fullscreen without streaming. Anyone interested? It's a good game.

May 11, 2010 - Valve announced that Steam will launch on the Mac platform this Wednesday, May 12. On subsequent Wednesdays, additional collections of Mac titles will become available, each designed to highlight specific functionalities of Steam on the Mac. The first collection of Mac titles will demonstrate "Steam Play," which allows customers to purchase a game once and play it on all Steam supported platforms. Gamers who have previously purchased games on Steam will find them available in their account on the Mac as they are released. Portal, in addition to supporting Steam Play, will be the first of Valve's Source engine based games available on the Mac. Native OS/X s…

A group of indie developers are selling a package of their games which includes some of the biggest independent games on the market. Gamers can name their own price—from 1¢ to $1,000—for a pack of games that would go for around $80 if sold separately. Anyone who buys the package can feel better about themselves as well; customers can send any amount of their purchases to two major nonprofit groups. The sale, nicknamed the "humble bundle" by the studios involved, is certainly epic. The games included in the package are World of Goo, Gish, Lugaru, Aquaria, and Penumbra Overture. Each of these titles has proven to be a solid hit, and the fact that five separate studios are w…

Attention, all units: EA will release Realtime Worlds' cops-and-robbers MMO APB on PC in North America on June 29, in mainland Europe on July 1 and in the UK on July 2. The initial $50 game purchase, either through retail or by download, will include 50 hours of playtime, as well as "unlimited time" in APB's so-called social districts, where players can customize, chat and trade. When the 50 hours are up, players have the option to purchase 20 more hours for $7, 30 days of unlimited access for $10, or discounted 90- or 180-day passes. In addition, extra playtime can be earned through certain unspecified accomplishments, according to EA: "APB provides avenues for accomplis…
