The Skyrim denizens that frequent the open-world RPG's official forum have been digging around the latest update and discovered what could be some of the content that'll be included in the game's DLC. [Morrowind crossbow, not indicative of Skyrim DLC] The nosey Nords have stumbled across a folder named 'DLC01' in Skyrim update 1.5.26. Said folder apparently contains assets for new Snow Elf characters, a Snow Elf Princess, crossbows and new vampire animations such as feeding and hypnosis. ZeniMax Media, parent company of Skyrim dev Bethesda, filed a trademark for Dawnguard last month, sparking speculation that it could be the name of an upcoming DLC expansion for the game…

They should have dropped it a month or two after release, not 6 months later. And is a GOTY edition really necessary for one story DLC and a bunch of stupid challenge maps?

Bethesda public relations sent out emails today explaining that Prey 2 isn't cancelled. Development of Prey 2 has not been cancelled but the game will not be released in 2012 as planned. The delay is due to the fact that game development has not progressed satisfactorily this past year, and the game does not currently meet our quality standards. Prey 2 has shown great promise and we regret disappointing our fans. We have made a substantial investment in game development to deliver the experience fans want. We are determined only to release the AAA game that fans rightfully expect, and are unwilling to compromise our quality standards to meet a release schedule.
