Was not sure if you guys were aware. Happened a few days ago. Get it fast cause it expires on the 31st of July and you have to have gold to download it. It requires about 6GB of download space. It's an older game now but better than nothing. http://news.xbox.com/2013/07/xbox-360-assassins-creed-2-on-games-with-gold

A little bit of a rant here. Apologies in advance. I was really interested in this game but not really happy about what I have been hearing. First they announced that they will be releasing episodic story DLC. The game is not even out yet and it just feels like they already planning on dragging this out through DLC. If it was just multiplayer maps or something that is one thing but this game relies heavily on story and the feeling that you have to buy extra DLC to possibly finish that story does not sound good to me. I would rather just pay full price for the whole package. $60 for a new game seems like enough but this could be $100 all said and done. Secondly, they jus…

Didn't see one of these yet, so heeeeeeere we go! So far the game is fantastic. Graphics are a step up in my opinion from 2, at least noticeable enough for me. "Prelude" was definitely interesting and with a great plot twist (don't spoil it for yourself and please don't spoil in here). One thing I have to absolutely rave about though? The naval battles. Seriously, I love this part of the game. I would pay like $20 for an XBLA game or something that was just like this part of the game and maybe have multiplayer. Excellently done in my opinion. Anyone else playing this? I just finished Sequence 6 and am working on my homestead and just messing around trying to make mo…

Hey All, This game almost got me to purchase. ALMOST! AC 3 got me to impulse buy and I left rather disappointed. It was not the worst game at the time but for an AC game I had higher expectations especially since I enjoyed Ezio's story. The reviews for this game look awesome. 9's flying all over the place with suggestions that all your frustrations with AC3 have been addressed. I gotta say the lure of playing AC IV is strong. What all these glowing reviews don't address is the way Ubisoft sets this up. Some of it is nothing new like day one DLC which just feels like it might of been cut from the game for that purpose, online micro transactions for multiplayer, and my …

http://www.gamespot....actions-6399037 Alright I thought the post title was funny. Just read that Assassin's Creed 3 is going to support micro transactions. What that could mean is that you can buy in-game credits to buy things to help your character with xbox points which we all know cost real money. This happened in ME3 where you could buy specter packs or the new SSX where you could get items faster that could help you win on certain tracks. I don't buy this stuff because it is way more fun to earn it. While the games are not forcing me to buy these things I just don't like this news at all. An example would be what has happened to iOS gaming. All the games have this I…

"Speaking at the Edinburgh Interactive Festival, Xbox Live Europe general manager Jerry Johnson explained that the basic codec had originally required just a 64k connection. "It's time for us to move on," he said. "Especially if we want to think about broadening - a crackly headset on the top of your head – not what people think of when they talk about popular entertainment."" Read more at, Joystiq

Looks like they didn't like the heat they were getting, and put it back up. I successfully disabled auto-renewal. Good job, MS. Please leave it that way. Head on over to https://live.xbox.com/en-US/Account and see if yours is enabled. If it is, and you don't want it to be, disable it!
