So i have been really wanting to get Dead space. Looks like a cool game and i love to get games like a week before their sequels come out so i dont have to wait. BUT i think this game will scare the **** out of me. So i bought both condemned games to kinda get into the genre. I dont enjoy being freaked out but i love the way survival horror games usually play. i.e. rarely ammo, tough bosses, and entertaining stories. So my question is, how does dead space stack up to other games in the genre. Alan wake made me laugh more then jump, but condemned is creepy...

Anyone else hate how Bioware/EA are doing pre-orders bonus stuff these days? Feels like you are missing out on something no matter what version you end up getting. Then they nickel and dime you later with the stuff you couldn't get as DLC. Same story with Mass Effect 2. I love that game but man it was hurting my wallet lol. So I guess it's fair to guess I'm the only one that picked this one up since it came out the same week as MW3, Skyrim, and Saints Row 3? Been having a fun time playing Peace Walker even if the online is a little laggy and it's not super easy to find games. Haven't really tried out 2 and 3 much though,popped in 2 for about 20 minutes to see how the controls were and decided Peace Walker would be the easiest to start with. Too note, this is the first time I've played any MGS games ever.

Well I decided to pick this up and.......it's surprisingly good! It is not exactly like the PC version. For example, playing the game normally, you can't just build your own house from scratch right from the get-go rather you must earn the right to build your own houses later on by unlocking it. Although, there are some cheat codes for the game just like PC that you can enter and do whatever you want. To do this you hold down RT, LT, RB, and LB all at once on the start menu.
