So yeah, I'm a noob. I'm still learning build orders and whatnot. I usually play as the Protoss online, but I've been wanting to try out the Terrans. So I load up SinglePlayer and proceed to make a 1v1 match against a Medium AI. I'm playing along, doing my thing, learning and s.hit. I build a bunch of Marines and Marauders and send them out scouting. I find his base. I attack. I blow up three or four of his structures. And then my mind is blown. I see on the screen, in the chat panel.... and it says: Player 2: [ALL] gg Player 2 wants to surrender I hadn't even killed the AI yet. I blew up a couple structures and the AI, in the CHAT channel, said "gg", which is short …

How's this for an innovative startup: four African girls — the eldest of which is just fifteen years old — have worked together to invent a generator that's powered by urine. The group presented their creation at this year's Maker Faire Africa, and it's so freaking brilliant it makes me want travel back in time and punch 15-year-old me right in the solar plexus. The Next Web lays out how it works: Urine is put into an electrolytic cell, which cracks the urea into nitrogen, water, and hydrogen. The hydrogen goes into a water filter for purification, which then gets pushed into the gas cylinder. The gas cylinder pushes hydrogen into a cylinder of liquid borax, which i…

  9. http://rt.com/usa/us-police-harrassment-crime-308/ Let the horrible interpretations of physical contact and annoyance begin. While I'm all for people being detained or penalized for trying to harm an officer (sorry, but I am) the language for this is SO VAGUE that it's going to be so horribly abused, and people are going to wind up with felonies for no reason other than maybe swinging their arms around in the air like they just don't care.

Two egg omelet, with peppers, onions, 1 piece American Cheese (white), 1 piece sharp chedder cheese, 5 pieces of bacon. Cut in half and layered on a freshly baked and toasted everything bagel. I AM TEH FULL! Damn it was good though.

  12. Sometimes I enjoy reading police reports. Sometimes I don't. While crime is never funny, especially to those victimized, there are occasions where I simply cannot believe what I'm reading and feel the need to share it with you all. This is one of those times. Let's take a moment to aquaint ourselves with a Mr. Waldo Soroa, aged 19. Waldo, along with four other "respectable" young members of society, decided it would be a great idea to burglarize the home of a Florida woman sometime in mid-December. While in the home, these upstanding citizens decided to pilfer a number of electronic devices as well as some jewelry. Also purloined during the heist were two urns whic…

  14. It's not just children who like to build towers with Lego - the internet is alive with discussion on how many Lego bricks, stacked one on top of the other, it would take to destroy the bottom brick. So what's the answer? There has been a burning debateon the social news website Reddit. It's a trivial question you might think, but one the Open University's engineering department has - at the request of the BBC's More or Less programme - fired up its labs to try to answer. "It's an exciting thing to do because it's an entirely new question and new questions are always interesting," says Dr Ian Johnston, an applied mathematician and lecturer in engineering. Looking on the in…

  16. Once upon a time between now and then People milled about the city Among fetid trash and rats and piss Cement and steel, dull and gritty They ministered to their tight schedules Occasionally pausing just to stare So long as they weren’t involved, Why should they spend precious time to care? It was a typical gloomy urban day When the grey clouds parted in the skies And an enormous penis descended down While the people watched with awestruck eyes It throbbed as it hovered over them A humongous blood-engorged phallic god, And it drooled a golden seltzer juice From the crimson tip of its erect rod As the people looked on horrified While the shaft continued to leak The…

  17. This is pretty sad news for me really. The A-10 has long been one of the absolute coolest assault planes I've ever laid my eyes on. I have fond memories of playing the old A-10 Warthog PC games and I liked flying them in flight sims and arcade games (like Ace Combat). What always blew my mind was the idea that this plane pretty much was just a ridiculously massive gun that someone decided to build a plane around. I present the GAU-8 for your consideration. Capable of absolutely obliterating any damn ground target, rattling out 30mm depleted uranium shells at a rate of 4200/min that seriously hit the ground before you even heard them fired from the plane itself, t…

This is pathetic, a highschool team cut a player who doesn't have two legs but can throw 80 MPH. Watch the short clip. Sad part is, this kid has already been on an ESPN cover!

  21. Started by Kevnvek,

So my PSU somehow burned and melted some of the wiring in it. It happened sometime during the day while my computer was powered down, so I came home to a lovely burning plastic/rubber smell. I've known there was something wrong with the system for a while now and suspected the motherboard, but it looks like it was the PSU after all. Explains some of the oddities like USB ports and the CD drive on the front panel sometimes restarting the computer when activated. I've ordered a new one because I want my system back up and running as soon as possible, assuming nothing else is damaged in it. I rarely ever go for one day shipping, but I'm trying it for this. I'm currentl…

You've received a new Eurogamers alert from Administrator. The subject is: BETA testers wanted! Test the new FIFA Manager 2011. You can read the alert here: http://gamers.eurogamer.net/alerts.php?alert_id=587951 -- Regards, The Eurogamer Team. =================== I'll never use it, so go right ahead if you're interested.

What's up gang, I know I've been pretty hit or miss pretty much the last 10 months or so but I know most of you understand. Just wanted to update y'all. Getting out of here in less that two months WOOT! Saved a bunch of money and got a new toy. Can anyone say MacFag? Yep, I bought a Macbook Pro 15". Probably the best purchase I've made in a long time. Things are still popping over here so don't let the news fool you. Can't discuss it, but I'm sure you'll hear about it soon enough. Wish me luck, I'll try to be on here more often in the next few weeks but then it's packing and getting ready to get out of here. Miss you guys, can't wait to do some XBL with y'all.

I am now posting from this beast as my primary "monitor". I love it. All those days of sore feet are now paying off. I only had to wait for my Walmart associate 10% discount card before nabbing the thing (took out the massive tax and then some). I'd post pics if I had a way to take them, but the old camera doesn't work anymore and phone pics are junk (plus I don't know how to upload them. Never bothered spending much time messing with phone stuff.)
