For the serious or semi-serious. Just don't go off the beaten path.

I see that this title doesn't have the Live logo on the cover. I was really looking forward to running this on my quad core. So what's the story on why this isn't going to be released for Games Windows Live when the first one was. Looks like Kane and Lynch 2 will be burning up my optical drive in my 360 S instead...

I'm going to try and make this short, but I feel like ranting a little bit. I cannot understand why keyboards and mice aren't supported better on consoles. I found myself playing Halo Reach last night, and I love the game. Also, despite my horrific ability in FPS with a controller I was attempting Legendary. I'm only about 2 chapters into it and at the going rate I don't think I am going to be able to do it without becoming way too frustrated. I just don't have the coordination to keep up with some of the enemies with a controller. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I would be awesome with a mouse and keyboard, but I would at least have an enjoyable chance tryin…

  9.

60 days is all it took for Kinect to sell more than what Microsoft was hoping for and also topple the competition, Sony’s Move. Microsoft was hoping for 5 million Kinect units moved and instead ended up with more than 8 million units sold in the first 60 days since Kinect has been released on November 4, 2010. Move has only sold 4.1 million units since it’s release on September 17, 2010. via Fox News Business View the full article

Fans of motion capture sensors and cute little fuzzy animals that obey your every command can now rejoice. Major Nelson has confirmed the price and bundle for the upcoming Wii-box. Whoops I mean Kinect. On November 4th 2010, Xbox 360 users can get their hands on the Kinect for the price of $149.99. Included with the purchase of Kinect is Kinect Adventures. If that was not enough to blow everyone’s minds, there will also be a Kinect Holiday Bundle coming out for the holiday season. This bundle includes the Kinect, Kinect Sensor, Kinect Adventures, and the super matte and incredibly sexy Xbox 360 with built in Wi-Fi and a 4 GB internal flash memory. That’s right, a whoppi…

  11. http://kotaku.com/5627036/report-kinect-doesnt-speak-spanish-it-speaks-mexican So yeah, apparently Spaniards will not be able to use Kinect yet. It's humorous that it does support "Mexican" though, and also that there are THREE varying versions of English (One for US, one for UK and one for..... Canada?) I loved the first comment in the article saying ""Canada, WTF? So I will be forced to say "eh" at the end of every sentence for it to recognize my voice?" ROFL Makes me wonder how well it will pick of various accents too which was mentioned in the story, like the famous Boston "Pahk the cah in the yahd" sort of speak, or even how our Irish friends will fare with the…

  12. Ugh, this is just patent trolling again at its finest. Super frustrating. http://www.trademarkia.com/candy-85842584.html Apparently they flat out trademarked the word Candy, specifically pertaining to all Computer & Software Products & Electrical & Scientific Products , Clothing Products , Education and Entertainment Services. The filing was done last year but was recently approved for publication as of last week. I imagine their lawyers are going to start sending out a gratuitous amount of court notices.

Well I'm not sure if there's even a point to post this. I don't think I saw any posts made in 2018 at all. But here goes.... HI!!! Ran across a VERY old email as I was cleaning out my inbox. Yes, I've got SEVERAL YEARS worth of old emails. And I can't just click 'delete all!' Anyway, it reminded me of my good 'ole GC family. Hows everyone been? The forum looks sweet! I've missed you all! My life has been pretty much the same as always. Same shit, different day lol. We had our 2nd annual Ugly Sweater Party tonight. It went great, but damn I'm exhausted. 30 or so ppl, and most of them drunk and/or high. Lol, good times. Getting ready to celebrate my 26t…

  22. Astronomers have discovered the largest and oldest mass of water ever detected in the universe — a gigantic, 12-billion-year-old cloud harboring 140 trillion times more water than all of Earth's oceans combined. The cloud of water vapor surrounds a supermassive black hole called a quasar located 12 billion light-years from Earth. The discovery shows that water has been prevalent in the universe for nearly its entire existence, researchers said. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43859868/ns/technology_and_science-space/

Things just keep worse for the electronic’s company who admitted to a security breach one week after it actually happened, leaving millions of user’s credit card information among other personal information out in the open. Sony was slapped with the Class Action Lawsuit by the Rothken Law Firm in California. “We brought this lawsuit on behalf of consumers to learn the full extent of Sony PlayStation Network data security practices and the data loss and to seek a remedy for consumers. We are hopeful that Sony will take this opportunity to learn from the network vulnerabilities, provide a remedy to consumers who entrusted their sensitive data to Sony, and lead the way in …

  25. Take, for example, Dr. Herbert Kleber of Columbia University. Kleber has impeccable academic credentials, and has been quoted in the press and in academic publications warning against the use of marijuana, which he stresses may cause wide-ranging addiction and public health issues. But when he's writing anti-pot opinion pieces for CBS News, or being quoted by NPR and CNBC, what's left unsaid is that Kleber has served as a paid consultant to leading prescription drug companies, including Purdue Pharma (the maker of OxyContin), Reckitt Benckiser (the producer of a painkiller called Nurofen), and Alkermes (the producer of a powerful new opioid called Zohydro). Kleber, who di…
