So under PK's recommendation I set out upon the world and got myself a new Tritton headset. I must say it is one of the best purchases I have made in awhile lol. Thank you PK! The sound quality is amazing. Now I don't feel so compelled to buy a home theater system one day. The ones I got are the Tritton AX 720. I went mid grade because head sets cost way more than I thought they would. It's weird that it never crossed my mine as a must have. Now I can mute the TV and play my games in full sound without bugging anyone. They also work on any console and my Mac! So I sold my Tritton AX 720's for $100 on eBay yesterday. Bought the AX PRO'S on amazon for $160 today, should be here later this week. Wondering what people that have these think, did I make a good decision? looked around for comparisons but everyone is a fanboy of either Tritton, Turtle Beach, or Astros so its tough to find any non skewed opinions. I loved my AX 720's but I was starting to want more so I needed an upgrade, I was looking elsewhere since Tritton was bought by madcatz, and madcatz sucks so I was worried. But I'm giving them another chance cause they have made me happy so far.

I bought these after an intensive investigation of all the wireless headsets out there. I had a lot of input from members in the Gamercide community and I would like to thank them for their efforts. My conclusion was that the Astro A 40's seemed to be the best out there. I was all set to buy them until I found out they wanted $30 to ship them in 3-5 days. After seeing this video I have decided that WP7 is my next phone: That is HOT! It's a Zune + XBLA launchpad + HOTNESS! There's a reason I love my Zune and yet hate my Android.. because my Android has shatty games! I'm a gamer and I need a gamer's phone. Come to pappy! Looking forward to Oct when I can pick this up. Also after watching this, I noticed it's funny that the interviewer mentioned Games for Windows Live and the dude is like "What's that? Oh, you must mean Xbox Live for PC". I just read this article on Wired.com about how Android phones are beginning to get non-removable trial apps on phones, much like the bloatware that plagues PCs. Love or hate the iPhone and how controlling Apple is with the phone, it's nice that Apple won't let AT&T add anything to their phones and shoots them down whenever the topic comes up. I know that Google did the same thing with the Nexus One, but, unfortunately, that's not the case with all phone makers. HTC and Samsung have both given in to the carriers requests to add apps that cannot be removed without hacking the phone. Has anyone bought an Android that had these bloatware apps? Well, I've been following XCM since I first bought my Xbox 360 and wished I could use a mouse and keyboard with it.
