How are we not talking about this? I haven't played it, and I have absolutely no intention to do so. However, the world is talking about it, and it certainly proves Augmented Reality as a viable game platform. Has anyone played it or know anyone who is playing it? Is it an addiction deal or actually a fun game?

This tablet is winning me over with all these gaming features. Especially the remote cloud play, that's pretty dope.

I love my Vita and today's announcement gave me a boner because I'm a huge Borderlands fan and it comes included with the new handheld. I can't justify buying another Vita but perhaps because my son takes it with him on his weekends with his mom, it's may be good enough reason to have a spare one. lol..... Plus the new model is thinner, lighter and has a longer battery life. Sounds good to me More details here: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/02/10/new-ps-vita-model-confirmed-for-us-included-in-borderlands-2-bundle/

Developer: Nintendo Publisher: Nintendo Genre: Action-Adventure Platform: Nintendo 3DS Release Date: November 22, 2013 When The Legend of Zelda released in 1987 I was 8 years old and it quickly became one of my favorite game franchises of all time. Through the years I have played and still own every single Legend of Zelda game that has been released. From the 1987 classic, to the downright travesties of the CD-i games, all the way through the latest A Link Between Worlds, I’ve played them all through to completion. While the original is still my favorite, I have loved them all (Yes even the terrible ones). I’m proud to say A Link Between Worlds is not terrible and is on…

Christmas/Birthday is coming up, and I've always wanted a Wii however I always wanted a 3ds also. Not really sure why, I guess because I haven't played a nintendo game since the 64 and I miss it. So my question is what should I get, I would love to have a Wii so me my girlfriend and the kid can play it together, but then again I wouldn't mind a handheld so if I get bored I can fire it up real quick and play. Should I just get a wii? I was looking at the 3ds or the playstation equivalent. What do you guys think?

Not a full review or anything but just my thoughts. I have put about 10 hours into the game. I almost passed on this game but I got my hands on X and Y this past weekend and I am happy to report that the game feels much better than the previous installments that I have played. I had Heart Gold on DS and before that Ruby on the Advance. Ruby was awesome and I loved playing that game but I never felt like newer versions were a whole lot different. Granted I have not played them all but just looking at the installments I have not played, friend and player reviews for them, you could tell that there was not a whole lot of changes. This is a game for me that is more fun to pla…

The portable was originally due to ship on June 27 before Nvidia announced a last-minute delay to an unspecific day in July. The firm blamed a "mechanical issue" related to "third-party component". In an announcement today, the company said, "We want to thank you for your patience and for sticking with us through the shipment delay of your Shield. We have great news to share with you - your Shield will ship on July 31st." It added, "Our goal has always been to ship the perfect product, so we made sure we submitted SHIELD to the most rigorous mechanical testing and quality assurance standards in the industry. We built SHIELD because we love playing games, and we hope y…

Don't sleep on this title! If you like RPG/JRPG this should be amazing. Comes out on Tuesday, July 16th 2013! Next week! Wish I had the money to go buy the olds systems and play the previous games and the Persona spin-off series. If you already own Fire Emblem and register it and this game on club.nintendo.com you will get $30 eCredit back to use towards any other game on the digital store. My other thread has more details.

In my efforts to beef up the handheld section of the forums I wanted to mention this game that carries the Shin Megami Tensei name: I picked this up recently and this game feels like a hidden gem. It was not immediate at first. I had to play a couple hrs and it really ramped up. The graphics look classic since this is a re-release of a DS game for 3DS, but the gameplay is amazing. I am a sucker for turn-based combat and even more so if it involves a tactical grid and character customization like the latest XCOM. It is challenging as well which I welcome. One or two wrong moves and it could cost you. Its got an interesting story and a demon collection system that…

I did not think this game would be cool but I played the demo on 3DS and it is a blast!! If your gonna try the demo read this: The bad thing about that demo is it does not really tell you how to play at all! On my first run I winged it and failed horribly. It turned me off on the game a little but determined I tried again. This time while playing I found a menu buried within the game that had a very detailed instruction manual on how to play. Just read it over a bit especially the combat section. The game is really alot simpler than it looks. It's like a turn-based strategy game sort of like Fire Emblem mixed with a simplified fighting game combat system. The visual…

I really really want to play Fire Emblem! I had all the old game boys at one time or another way back when and had the first DS before. I also still have my Neo Geo pocket It's old but still works. I loved that system. I love handhelds but have been out of the scene for awhile now. iOS has been getting me by I guess but I just hate the pay to play, microtransaction nickel and dime games on it. For some reason I got this strong urge to buy a 3DS XL this weekend considering best buy has it for $174.99. Seems like a good deal. How are you all liking yours?

So I personally have been waiting for the next installment of Monster Hunter, and it is soon to be here in a little over a week. Ive been putting off getting a 3 DS though hoping that it would be put on something else but it does not look like there is going to be a much better option here. Anyways, was wondering if anyone has played this series? Its been something that me and a couple of friends have been interestedi n for a long time. The game provides one hell of a challenge through alll of its games so far and even though it boils down to a lot of farming in game to get the right gear required for killing a monster it is so rewarding when you finally down it. Althoug…

Don't get me wrong, it's an AMAZING device. It's powerful, has a super sexy screen and is capable of some serious console quality gaming. The problem is there is NO GAMES. Sony is failing hard on this one. I thought for sure they would strike out hard with their new handheld, considering it has dual analogs and all that beefy hardware. I can only play so much PSOne Classics (mostly RPGs). I don't have much else to play considering I've been through Gravity Rush, the Metal Gear HD Collection, Ragnarok Oddysey and Uncharted. Anyone else have a Vita who feels the same way?

So I used to draw a bunch on my DSi when I had it a while back. I think I posted some pictures too back then of some of the digital scribbles I've done with it. The 3DS has an even better program called "Colors 3D", and it lets you use 5 different "layers" to add depth to the picture through the use of the 3D slider thingy on the handheld. And yes, you'll probably be able to discern that I like anime and draw a lot of cartoon crap. Blah blah blah, here's some of the crap I've done in the past couple months. Do you like to draw? I'd love to check out your stuff too! Vegeta from Dragonball Z Some little girl from Full Metal Alchemist Kratos from God of War Deidar…

Anyone have have a 3DS or had a chance to play this? It's absolutely a fantastic game, although adding on the Circle Pad Pro thingy is kind of a must. I didn't think I'd like the feel of adding on that stupid extra analog stick but it honestly makes the system a bit easier to hold and adds an additional shoulder button which is nice too. Anyways this is a great Resident Evil game and I highly recommend it.

This thing looks pretty neat. Not sure, but it sounds like it's going to be a basic PC but in a handheld package. Which means practically anything can be played on it. http://www.neowin.ne...ng-tablet-fiona

After getting everyone’s hopes up, Sony now says only one user account can be used on a PlayStation Vita. Though a Sony representative told Wired.com at a Vita preview event last week in Manhattan that Vita users will be able to switch accounts by swapping out memory cards, the PlayStation maker has now retracted that statement. It told Wired.com in an email on Thursday that Vita owners will indeed have to reset their hardware to factory settings, deleting all of their data, in order to sign in with a different PlayStation Network account. Sony will release Vita in Japan on Saturday and in the U.S. on February 22. “[The] PSN account is tied to the hardware and the memory …

I haven't owned a portable gaming device since the game boy and even then I didn't use it much outside of my home. That story has changed now that I own an iPhone. I just purchased GTA 3 for my phone. That is just amazing to me. I can take a game I spent hours in front of a tv playing anywhere. That's not to mention tons of great classics like Final Fantasy 1-3 and Chrono Trigger. Plus new games that just amaze me like Infinity Blade 1&2. Now, my question is do you see a phone as a mobile gaming device? I do. Granted it takes some good design to make them playable but there are tons of games that will work. I actually would love to see more classics brought to the …
