  1. Introducing new characters to a game like Borderlands 2 so long after launch can be a risky proposition. Most players have made it through the retail game and the available DLC, and the prospect of starting over with a new Vault Hunter might not be terribly appealing. Taking on a challenge like this (and asking players to invest another $10) might seem crazy. Thankfully, so is Krieg, the sixth Vault Hunter. The protagonists of the Borderlands series aren’t traditional heroes. They aren’t in it for helping the little guy (as any Bandit Midget will attest). It’s the fortune and glory that appeals to them, and if that means helping out the local population (and robots) to …

What's up everyone! Long time, no see! So I finally got around to building myself a gaming rig. PK had linked me to another thread here, that ultimately helped me decide what to start with for Motherboard and processor. Everything I spend hours of research (google/youtube). This was my first ever build on my own and it was extremely intimidating, but after many hours and a broken bank account, I present to you my new beauty. 17. http://hexus.net/tech/news/software/54153-code-leaked-windows-81-reveals-boot-desktop-option/ Microsoft’s Windows Blue (Windows 8.1 for PCs) update may well bring with it an option to boot straight to the desktop. This built-in option would be popular with a vociferous section of PC users who see the new Start Screen as inferior to the old Start Menu and don’t even want to see it once per reboot. A Russian website called Microsoft Portal first revealed the “boot to desktop” code, which is found inside a system file called twinui.dll. These changes are seen in one of the recent leaked builds of Windows Blue/Windows 8.1. However if you have one of these test versions of …

  18. https://www.themightyquest.com/en This game flew under my radar I suppose. Never heard about it until I read an article on RockPaperShotgun. It's a game from Ubisoft and from what I gather it's like some sort of weird hybrid of Dungeonland. The game is basically split into two parts, raiding other player's castles to get loot and experience while also maintaining and customizing your own castle full of traps and monsters to destroy any other players attempting to raid yours. Both your character AND your castle apparently level up seperately. Seems like it could be pretty awesome for a F2P game and I'm always looking to try stuff out. Here is the article from …

Yet another F2P MMO. Ugh, we're just saturating the market at this point, but the idea of a solid kung fu MMO intrigues me a little. I may check it out a bit. Anyone try it while in beta?
