SEGA has announced it will be releasing Sonic Adventure 2 HD on Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network. The Dreamcast classic will be getting a HD lick of paint as part of the company's ongoing SEGA Heritage initiative in time for an autumn release. The announcement was made at the Sonic Boom event during Comic-Con over the weekend. There had been a fair amount of speculation about such a reveal, as a listing for the Dreamcast title recently appeared on Xbox.com with an October 3 release date, which boasted leaderboards, offline multiplayer and content downloads. Sonic Adventure 2 originally launched on Dreamcast in 2001 to great reviews . The first Sonic Adventure gam…

Since there is not a topic on this I decided to make one. So anyone getting this? I actually really enjoyed the first one called War for Cybertron which was the first Transformers game that was actually decent. They really nailed the Transformations and characters. Plus this series of games is not based off the Bay movies which pretty much destroyed everything I loved about Transformers. Completely DESTROYED! See I am partial to the G1 stuff because I grew up with it. One of my favorite cartoons as a kid and I loved all the toys so naturally I would be a sucker for a Transformers game that pays homage to G1 and actually does the characters mostly right. The multiplayer wa…

A little bit of a rant here. Apologies in advance. I was really interested in this game but not really happy about what I have been hearing. First they announced that they will be releasing episodic story DLC. The game is not even out yet and it just feels like they already planning on dragging this out through DLC. If it was just multiplayer maps or something that is one thing but this game relies heavily on story and the feeling that you have to buy extra DLC to possibly finish that story does not sound good to me. I would rather just pay full price for the whole package. $60 for a new game seems like enough but this could be $100 all said and done. Secondly, they jus…

I rarely see anyone talk about XBLA releases. Am I the only one that spends WAY too much money on these things? The latest few I've picked up have all been pretty stellar. List below: Deadlight - Mixed reviews, but if you are a fan of 'Out Of This World', then give this one a try. Quantum Conundrum - A very Portal-esque game (Also on PC). It really makes me happy to play it and is really great. Try it if you dig Portal and you won't be disappointed. Minecraft - I see a few people picked it up but never see anyone online. Makes me sad. Spelunky - THIS is my new obsession. I can't go a night without trying to make it through this game multiple times. Completely maddeni…
