So yeah, I'm a noob. I'm still learning build orders and whatnot. I usually play as the Protoss online, but I've been wanting to try out the Terrans. So I load up SinglePlayer and proceed to make a 1v1 match against a Medium AI. I'm playing along, doing my thing, learning and s.hit. I build a bunch of Marines and Marauders and send them out scouting. I find his base. I attack. I blow up three or four of his structures. And then my mind is blown. I see on the screen, in the chat panel.... and it says: Player 2: [ALL] gg Player 2 wants to surrender I hadn't even killed the AI yet. I blew up a couple structures and the AI, in the CHAT channel, said "gg", which is short …

Two scientists programmed a bunch of robots to play hide & seek. What they're researching is how to make the hiding robot "deceive" the hunters. Great, now we're not only going to have robots that will hunt us down and kill us, but they'll be able to hide and cover their own tracks so we'll have NO EFFING CLUE where they're coming from!. /facepalm "The hider's set of false communications was defined by selecting a pattern of knocked over markers that indicated a false hiding position," explains Wagner. This fiendish plan apparently fooled the hunter droids 75 per cent of the time. "We have developed algorithms that allow a robot to determine whether it should …

*Scottie picks up computer mouse and begins to talk into it* "Hello computer." Remember in Star Trek IV (one of the crappier sequels in my mind), when they need material to re-fit a storage bay to contain the humpback whales? It was supposedly 1986, and they needed a material strong enough to hold that many gallons of water but it didn't quite exist yet? What was the magic material? TRANSPARENT ALUMINUM!!! Well it's been a pipedream for a long time now. We've kind of known how to create it for a little while but it was near impossible to sustain. From Wiki: To create transparent aluminium, more power than is used by an entire city had to be focused into a dot with …

So I got some awesome news in the mail yesterday!!! I've finished paying off another student loan!! WOO HOO!! (you can skip this part) Okay here's a small back story .. Since I'm Canadian and wanted to go to school in the USA (New Jersey) my loan was split up over 3 different places. One was Royal Bank of Canada (RBC for my Canadian brethren), the other two were from the province of British Columbia, and one from the federal government. So I had 3 loan payments to make a month. It got kinda messy when I moved to the USA 7 or 8 years ago because we (me and the loan offices) had to figure out a way for me to make payments and have them accept it. Companies or government ar…

I don't usually watch a ton of videos, but I must say this video caught my attention, enough for me to check out the series. I love how he uses gaming lingo throughout his daily activities. One video shows him standing in line to go to the restroom and he pounds on the bathroom door and says, "c'mon! stop camping in there!" or something to that effect. I love it!! Anyway here is my favorite video that I have seen so far (I hope this isn't already posted, if so, I'm sorry). I laughed my head off and thought I'd share this with everyone. It's also for CoD fans or just shooter fans in general. Hope you enjoy! Warning: Not for the easily offended since harsh & crude langu…

Fox News To view a picture of it, click the link. When Israeli entrepeneur Amit Goffer was paralyzed in a car crash in 1997, he went on a quest to help other victims walk again. He started wondering why the wheelchair is the only way for the paralyzed to get around, short of being carried. So he invented an alternative: robotic "pants" that use sensors and motors to allow paralyzed patients to stand, walk and even climb stairs. He founded a company, Argo Medical Technologies Ltd., to commercialize it. After several years of clinical trials in Israel and the United States, units will go on sale in January to rehabilitation centers around the world. Argo joins several compa…

I know I know. There is faster, but I am excited! I have been waiting on this to get rolling for months! I'm testing it out. I sit here for about 10 minutes each day for two weeks and run speed tests. I get 2 weeks free internet, then an extra month after, and then a $50 credit! To test fast internet! I love it. AND when they go public with it they will be offering a 50meg down, 5meg up! Happy times.

But actually, this is just me linking in some interesting article about antimatter and the insane cost of it. http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/1999/prop12apr99_1/ "Right now, antimatter is the most expensive substance on Earth, about $62.5 trillion a gram ($1.75 quadrillion an ounce)." I never knew it was that expensive.

Fox News "The wreck of the Titanic, which sank after hitting an iceberg on her maiden voyage nearly a hundred years ago, could be lost forever after scientists found it was being eaten by a bug, The Sun reported Thursday. Scientists examining the superstructure of what was the world's largest passenger steamship said a newly discovered bacteria was feasting on the iron that it was constructed from. They have revealed that the oceangoing liner, which went down with the loss of 1,517 lives in 1912, will be nothing more than a rust stain on the ocean floor within 20 years. The bacteria, which has been named Halmonas Titanicae, has been consuming the 50,000 tons of iron sin…

And probably break/shatter my elbows while doing it too. LoL BEHOLD! A 28 gauge HANDGUN, made by a company called Taurus. http://www.taurususa.com/ This hand cannon of the gods was recently unveiled as part of their "Raging Judge" line of revolvers. Unfortunately, you probably won't even be able to get it in the US, as the US Customs department has deemed it a "short barreled shotgun" and not a "revolver". *sighs*

Fox News A 20-year-old woman visiting Philadelphia from London died early Tuesday after she had silicone injected into her buttocks, police confirmed to myfoxphilly.com. Detectives said Claudia Adusei and three friends arrived on Saturday, and were staying at the Hampton Inn near Philadelphia International Airport. Adusei and one of her friends had previously traveled to Philadelphia last November to have their buttocks’ enhanced. They had returned so Adusei could have a second buttocks enhancement, while the other woman had her hips augmented. On Monday, two women showed up to perform the procedures at the hotel, and one woman administered the injections. …

They aren't dogs, you might as well just get a cat. Why must they always want to crawl on you. My mom is in the hospital and I'm doggy sitting and this stupid dog won't do anything but sit in my lap. My dog Jack might be wild but at least he has personality!

Finally got my pay fixed, so got a nice backpay check coming in today, around the sum of $3,000. Which is good news in two ways. I'm going from the $800 check I get every two weeks to the new and improved $1400 check. It only took the ARMY 4 months to fix this issue, and it was battalion wide, not just me. Hopefully I can get my car fixed and get some new clothes now lol. Also, no, I don't mind sharing my financial info online, just don't ask for my bank account info in the forums, just send me a PM instead
