Bob Anderson, an Olympic fencer and best known for his role as David Prowse's stunt double for Darth Vader's lightsaber fighting scenes, has died Sunday at the age of 89. Anderson was also involved with sword-fighting sequences for movies like The Princess Bride, The Mask of Zorro, and also The Lord of the Rings trilogy, as well as teaching fencing to many Hollywood stars like Sean Connery and Johnny Depp.

Famous Russian singer and internet sensation, Eduard Khil, passed away today (whatever time it is over there) at the age of 77. I know he had a really bad stroke last week and wasn't going well. Looks like it took a turn for the worst and wasn't able to recover.

Richard Dawson also passed away, yesterday at the age of 79, after his battle with esophageal cancer. Richard was best known (imo) as a kisser of women and host of the tv show The Family Feud. *sad face*

In the landmark decision US Supreme Court strikes down Defense of Marriage Act defining federally recognized marriage as a union of one man and one woman. The ruling means that the Federal Government will have to recognize state sanctioned same sex marriages. Starting June 17th the kiosk based movie rental provider, Redbox, will finally move in to the games market at all it’s locations. With over 21,000+ locations nationwide, the $2 per day rental fee seems like a pretty decent price point. Selections will include select games for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the Wii. Alright, it's about time for my semi-annual system reformatting. This computer is a mother-effing zombie, I know (and it's awesome lol), but every time it starts getting glitchy, a reformat always helps it. Plus I have a 1.5TB external hard drive that I pretty much store everything on anyways. If all goes well I should be back posting later tonight or tomorrow morning, assuming I start it soon (which I plan to). I just need to make an inventory of my programs and firefox add-ons to reinstall first, then I'll cast REVIVE on this thing and reinstall all of it's drives which I have stored on my external HD. Hopefully my color issues and whatnot will be fixed with this.
